Emma flinched and looked back only to see William lying on the floor in a pool of blood. He groaned in pain from being shot in the chest.
"Wi-William!!"
He whispered in a broken voice. William looked at her with teary eyes.
Suddenly the sounds of sirens and helicopters echoed in his ears. He looked around and found himself surrounded by police and guns leading to him.
He's trapped.
He looked behind Vincent and saw Sebastian standing with his head bowed.
He was the one who helped Vincent. Sebastian is the one who controls the security of the mansion. William has also given her the task of keeping Emma safe until she returns.
Eliyahu.
But he also tricked her like everyone else because Vincent had threatened her that if she didn't help him, she would kill Elijah.
"Seb"
William cried while looking at her sadly. Sebastian looked at her with a guilty look.
But then William said something to him while furrowing his brows towards Vincent. Sebastian nodded and slowly slipped away from there unbeknownst to anyone.
William then turned his gaze away from him and glared at Vincent, while Vincent only smirked in return.
"Enough with your Mafia game", Vincent snapped.
"YOU BETRAYED ME TOO!"
William shouted loudly.
Emma was surprised and looked at Vincent in confusion.
"Thank you to me for not killing you" Vincent growled with clenched jaws ignoring the bewildered Emma.
Emma looked at him with fear as Vincent glared at William as if he was going to kill him. His eyes were red and his grip on his gun was so strong that his fingernails were white.
"Please don't kill him"
He whispered. Vincent stared at.
"EMMA! HELP ME!! DON'T TRUST HIM. HE WAS THE ONE WHO HELPED ME!! DON'T LEAVE ME, PLEASE!!"
William shouted with a painful voice. Emma kept looking at him while crying. He couldn't understand what was going on.
Vincent saw Emma's state of fear. He immediately called his bodyguards and they started to take William away.
"NO!! EMMA!!"
William kept shouting and shouting but they all dragged him away. Emma kept looking at him sobbing. Vincent then pulled her into his arms while she cried in his chest.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine"
He grinned sinisterly as he watched William cry and scream like a madman.

5 Days later
At CIA Prison, Hawaii
11:00 nights
"Eat something or you'll die."
Noah spoke as he looked at William who was staring into space, sitting lifelessly on the cold ground.
Noah looked at her with teary eyes. He is shocked to learn that Vincent has convinced Emma and arrested William. He was well aware of that because he never trusted Vincent from the start.
Vincent accidentally shuts Noah and William in the same cell. Noah sees how William is completely destroyed. Five days had passed but he still had not eaten or spoken a word. He always sat in one corner of the cell with his head propped up against the wall while staring at the wall in front of him with a blank look.
Noah had tried several times to start a conversation with her, but William never answered her, never even feeling her presence.
Noah's up. He sat beside William and held his shoulder.
"William"
But again, there is no answer.
He then sighed heavily and looked at her gently.
"You can talk to me if you want."
Suddenly William grinned making Noah surprised.
"Do you think I can trust you?"
Noah felt heartbroken hearing his words and lowered his head. William scoffed.
"Do you think I can trust anyone now?"
Puppy puppy. Are you really stupid or are you just pretending to be stupid?" Suddenly Noah held onto his collar and growled. His eyes darkened and his face reddened with anger.
"It's all because of your fucking Emma, okay? He keeps betraying you and you keep following him like a puppy. Are you really stupid or are you just pretending to be stupid? Yeah, I tricked you but I'm an agent, that's my job. I did my best to keep her safe even I betrayed you but saw the girl believing in the man easily abandon her husband. I worked so hard for this Agency all my life but look, look where am I?"
His eyes slowly began to water but William kept staring at him blankly, unaffected by the outflow of his emotions.
"I'm stuck with you in this cell. I've dedicated my whole life to this institution, to working for the welfare of the people, but look, LOOK WHERE AM I? ROTTING IN THIS HELLHOLE JUST BECAUSE OF THAT BASTARD!! IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU AND THAT DAMN EMMA!! YOU KNOW I HATED IT FROM THE START BUT YOUR BLIND LOVE RUINED ALL MY PLANS, OTHERWISE I'VE SLAUGHTERED THAT JAW*ANG WOMAN WITH MY OWN HANDS LONG AGO!!!
He took off his collar and punched his fist against the wall.
"I tell you William, once I get out of here, I'll kill the pe**cur and that bastard VINCENT mercilessly"
He then looked at her with a sharp and growling look.
"And no one can stop me this time"
Noah growled with clenched jaws while his eyes turned red. Tears of anger flowed in his eyes and blood flowed from his fingernails. He thrust his dagger at William.
William took a long breath. He then got up and approached her.
"Come with me. Let's get out of here"
Noah became confused by the unexpected answer, but then his lips curved upwards into a grin.
"Do you think it's easy? I've lost all my rights, you know that. The CIA cell's in charge is Katherine and she works for Vincent. How can I-"
"Hey boy"
William and Noah turn around only to see Jennifer standing outside the cell with Katherine holding her ....

Noah's eyes widened in shock.
"William?"
But William just grinned and wiped his tears. He then told her to face him.
"Do you want to come, Agent?"
Noah stunned. William chuckled looking at her pale face and looked at her.
"Ck ck... Noah! Don't be too surprised. You know no one in this world was born to defeat William Knight. I am well aware of Vincent and his growing love for Emma. You think I don't see the obsession and lust in that bastard's eyes towards my own wife. But I need him to clear all the charges against me, which is why I acted so that he thought that he got me this time. But you all don't remember ....
"I won every game."
Noah was completely stunned by his words.
"But why should you help me? I'm the one who made you experience all this"
"Only one man has made me through all this and I swear on behalf of my father who has died today ....

Noah spoke with great difficulty as he was perplexed by his demeanor, but William slammed him against the wall and punched his fist beside his head angrily.
"Not anymore"
He growls. They both look at each other. One was shocked and the other angry.
"William, let's go. We don't have much time"
Katherine's coming in soon. Jennifer quickly put the key into the lock and opened the door. They both came out. Katherine then handed the weapons to them and they all rushed outside. It was easy for them because the entire security section of the CIA cell was under Katherine's control.
A black limousine quickly stopped in front of them, making Noah flinch.
"Come in Gangsta"
William grinned but Noah was surprised to see Antonio, while tears came out of his eyes. Even after everything he had, Elijah and Sebastian were in the car. They all went inside and Antonio left.
Noah sat quietly while Elijah glared at him.
"Noah! Are you all right?"
Sebastian asked softly. Noah falls into his arms while tears come out of his eyes. Even after everything he had done to them, they still cared about him.
"I'm so sorry"
"You have to make it up to him" said William. Noah looked at her and smiled.
"alright. I'm with you guys"
"You better not be messing with us this time or I won't hesitate to put a bullet into your thick skull" Elijah spoke as he glared at her. Noah nodded in fear.
"But where are we going?", Jennifer asked William who was watching everything silently.
"Back to Italy. We have to leave immediately before they find out about us" Antonio replied from the driver's seat.
"Don't worry, he won't do it. Again Who will report it?" Katherine said with a grin. William nodded.
"Leave it for a while. Once we're all out of here, you can tell him"
He nodded but Antonio was unsure of all this. "But William, what about Emma? You're gonna leave him with her?"
"Yes" Sebastian replied immediately. Noah frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, he was the one who chose Vincent over William. But we can't catch him now. He's under Vincent's protection. And also, we need time to stabilize ourselves" Elijah said. William nodded.
"Yes, I need time to build my own army. It's gonna take a couple of years. After that we will return with great force"
"Yes, and then we'll teach the bastard a lesson" Sebastian chuckled.
"We should also teach that bastard a lesson. I'd love to kill him", Noah growled with clenched teeth. Katherine supports.
"To be precise, we actually died for that ja*ang woman but she was just a little pe**cur who betrayed her lover again and again. I'll shoot him if I find him just once"
While they were all engrossed in this heated talk, the two people sitting quietly did not like this debate at all.
Antonio drove the car quietly. Her jaw clenched while her grip on the steering wheel was too tight as she heard them vilify Emma. On the other hand, Jennifer kept looking at William who was listening to everyone while looking out the window quietly. Although she was silent, Jennifer could see the sadness and pain in her eyes. He is well aware that Emma must have been brainwashed by Vincent, but he is shocked to see William sitting idly by while they all continue to talk nonsense about Emma. He clenched his fists tightly at the sight of how they had all trapped the poor girl to clean up the dirt on them to flatter William. But it wasn't his fault either. It is true that Emma again betrayed William, but she was always forced to do so. Sebastian was the one who gave it to Vincent for Elijah, but now he acts as if he did nothing.
But still Jennifer could do nothing because William had known everything before.

Two weeks ago
Emma Orphanage, Chicago
Jennifer P.O.V's.
William, me and Katherine are at Emma's orphanage. The place is beautiful and the view is amazing.
Katherine was talking to the managers about all the items needed such as furniture, toys, clothes, books and other items for the children.
Suddenly my eyes fell on William who was standing in one corner near a tree. He looks tense. Both of his hands were put into his pants pocket and he stared into space. I approached.
"Is there something bothering you?"
I spoke softly. He sighed.
"Vincent is after Emma. He had kidnapped her and decided to arrest me with his help"
He answered calmly without looking at me. I was shocked and shouted furiously.
"WHAT? AND WHY IS IT SO QUIET? WE HAVE TO SAVE HER AND-"
"No"
I looked at him in shock.
"What's? What do you mean by that?"
William finally looked at me and spoke in his hoarse voice.
"I've had enough now. I'm done. Now I want to see who Emma's gonna pick?"
My eyes wide.
"What do you mean William? Vincent will definitely show you killed Rebecca for her. Whaddya think? Will he come back to you after that? Come on, William, don't let that happen. But how did Vincent get past your security system?", I went completely insane with his absurd answers.
"Seb, help him"
I was amazed to hear his answer. He really is out of his mind. His expression was so calm while I was completely dying in my mind. I grabbed his hand and touched it violently towards me.
"William, please think about Emma. He won't understand anything. You have to tell me everything. If you apologize just once, he'll forgive you, but leaving her in the middle of this lie will only separate you two, nothing else. Vincent will win and you will lose Emma. Try to under-"
My speech was interrupted as he violently jerked my hand and pushed me back.
"I'm tired of him. Now this time I have to make it final and clear. If he loves me and trusts me, he'll wait for me and let me explain. But"
"But?"
William then looked at me with a horrible look and growled with clenched jaws.
"If he leaves me this time, I won't regret making his life hell. And I mean it"
With that he left. I sighed and whispered in a broken voice.
"Please Emma, don't go"
End of flashback~
But no, Emma left him again without hearing any explanation. But still I don't blame her for being caught between these two lunatics. She must have been horrified to see her only friend murdered by her own husband, but I'm pretty sure Vincent must have lied to her about something else. She's so sweet and innocent, she won't understand her dirty play, but I still feel sorry for William. I'm caught in a storm right now. The same goes for Emma. I do not understand who is right and who is wrong, but I do know that this time William will not let him live quietly. But still, I hope ....
everything's gonna be okay again.
