I opened my eyes slowly and narrowed my eyes slightly to adjust my vision. I grimaced as I felt a throbbing pain in my arms and head.

"How are you feeling?"

Suddenly, I heard a deep hoarse voice. I turned to the right and saw Vincent looking at me with a worried expression.

"I'm doing fine. What about Leon?" I asked him.

"She's fine but still unconscious" he replied.

I blinked a little as I remembered Katherine.

"What about Katherine?"

Vincent furrowed his brows, probably confused by what I said. "What do you mean?"

I looked at him and sighed understanding that he had no clue whatsoever about her.

"She's dead" I sighed sadly. I took my eyes off her while turning my eyes to the ceiling.

"He didn't jump off the so-called building"

"I knew. And I think you need to rest now," he replied in a monotone tone. I was surprised by his words.

"W-What do you mean?", I spoke with great difficulty as I felt my head thump a little. Vincent approached me and handed me an envelope. I'm really confused.

"What's this?"

"You're officially fired"

My eyes wide. I threw the envelope loudly on the ground and shouted loudly.

"WHAT THE FUCK !!!! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!!! WHAT ABOUT WILLIAM?" I screamed with a thunderous scream but he kept a flat face.

I was stunned when I heard it. My heart rate stopped. I can't believe my ears.

She spoke in a hoarse voice and held the back of my head as she landed her lips on mine. I kissed her back, but she was so fierce when she started kissing with hunger. I also tried to reply with the same intensity but he did not allow me. I couldn't breathe anymore so I opened my mouth to breathe but he took that chance and stuffed his tongue in while starting to suck it hard.

I tried to push him back to make him realize that I was out of breath. He was very dominant and rude but soon he understood my condition. She broke off the kiss in a careless voice and put her forehead on my forehead as we both tried to catch our breath.

"I'm sorry for leaving you," I said in a guilty tone while looking at her sadly. 

"It's okay. I can understand," she spoke in a deep voice as she ran her tongue over my swollen lips to soothe the pain caused by her bruised kiss. I smiled and kissed her lips.

"But don't leave me again. I will die without you" William said in a sad tone. I immediately shook my head to deny it and hugged it.

She hugged back and we cried in each other's arms for some time. I then let go of her embrace and wiped her tears.

"Let's start our relationship again" I chuckled.

He nodded with a smile.

"Hi, I'm William Knights"

He extended his hand to me. I laughed and shook hands with him.

"I'm Emma Knights. Nice to meet you, my husband"

 

William laughing. She then brought my palm closer to her lips and gave a soft kiss.

"It's nice to meet you too, my wife"

We both laughed and hugged each other.

3 Months later

It's been three months since William and Emma got together. William has become an affectionate husband and takes care of Emma like a child. She does not allow Emma to do any work and never gets angry at her.

Emma also began working at the Romano Corporation as a Design Engineer. William personally asks Antonio to allow Emma to work at his company and Antonio accepts her with pleasure. William knew how much he loved designing cars, so he allowed Emma to work there.

Emma is very happy. He has forgiven William and has now moved on with his new life. They are both happy with each other now.

William and Antonio are having a discussion about their new project when suddenly they both hear Emma's voice. William turned and looked at Emma. He smiled at her. He immediately approached her and kissed her forehead.

"Yes Princess"

She hugged him tightly while kissing his hair. Emma returned her smile. He then let go of his embrace and smiled. His eyes were on Antonio. He greeted her and Antonio nodded with a bright smile. Emma then turned her gaze towards William.

"Darling, I heard from Sebastian that you were going to America?", he spoke, his brows furrowing showing his nervousness. William nodded while stroking his hair.

"Yes, honey. It'll only take a week and I'll be back"

He reassured her with a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"But baby, are you going to be okay?"

Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at him. William kissed her lips gently and looked at her brightly glowing brown eyeballs.

"Emma, don't worry too much. I have unfinished business there. I'll be fine. Okay?"

She smiled and Emma nodded. The two of them then embrace each other and William leaves with Antonio. Antonio smiled at them the whole time. He patted William on the shoulder as they walked out.

"I'm so happy for you both" he said beaming.

After bidding farewell, William and Antonio immediately walked into their limousine. The driver started the engine while they were heading to the airport. William looked at Antonio who was smiling brightly at him. He raised his eyebrows in confusion.

"I was too worried when I found out that you have decided to let go," Antonio spoke in a sad tone while looking at him with sparkling eyes.

His smile automatically disappears from his face as William throws his infamous evil grin.

"Who said that?"
