The Part 51
Silence in the living room makes the atmosphere so gripping. No one had started the conversation since Ferdinand's arrival a few minutes ago.
Both Mama and Geo were silent. Geo was silent because he was suppressing his emotions so as not to explode.
"What's wrong?" Ferdinand looked at his son question markingly. It seemed like something had just happened that made Geo so emotional that he asked her to go home immediately.
“Try asking Papa's beloved wife, what he has done to my wife,” Geo's girlfriend.
Mama glared her eyes, not believing that her son was complaining about his actions to her husband.
“You accused Mama of doing something to your wife. Your crazy wife who has pushed Mama to fall and threw a plate to Mama.” Mama explained the real events. It was Aish who pushed him, but after he snapped. Satisfied to see the other side of his unwanted daughter-in-law.
The middle-aged woman smiled looking at her silent husband expressionlessly. Look at them both in turn.
“Quite Mah!! What's wrong Aish until Mama has to grab it, if Aish is wrong enough to tell without insulting or hurting him.” Geo has been hard-earned to dampen emotions, even mama deliberately waved the war flag.
“True Mama Snatch Aish?” Ferdinand asked with an elusive look. Believe it or not with the wife's explanation. He knew his wife was very difficult to accept women who were close to his sons. Not just this time, but long ago.
“Papa accuse Mama?” Mom asked back in a high voice.
Ferdinand only smiled faintly making mama smile triumphantly because she thought her husband believed in her.
“Papa could have opened the cctv recording without the need to ask, but Papa wants to know what reason Mama does not like with Aish.”
Ferdinand's words made mama round her eyes perfectly. Looking at the husband full of hostility.
“Mama doesn't like Geo getting married to Aish. Seductive women like her don't deserve to be with Geo and be the mother of my grandchildren.”
“Who is the teaser Mah!” Geo immediately boarded apitam hearing his wife was humbled. It was enough he was patient to face the increasingly outrageous mama.
“Mom should see yourself Mama, what deserves to be called a mother while being humiliating other women without a reason. Moreover, it's Mama's own daughter-in-law.”
“Geo!!” Ferdinand rebuked his eldest son who had raised his voice and burned with emotion.
“Don't blame me for never setting foot into this house again.” Geo got off the couch, lazily continuing the debate with mama.
“So you defend Aish more than Mama!” Mama's touch with a loud voice, made Geo stop stepping and turned to look at mama with a cynical smile. A smile that scratches a mother's heart.
“I never give you a choice. But Mama's attitude doesn't deserve to be a good mother to Aish. I will not let my wife get hurt again,” Geo said before continuing her steps.
“Geo!!” The middle-aged woman's shout boomed, because again Geo ignored her.
“Papa also wants to defend Aish compared to Mama!” He was angry at the husband who was still sitting quietly.
“If Mama can behave better and apologize with Aish it won't happen.”
“Not going, Mama will never apologize with that crazy woman.”
“Aish not crazy Mah!” Press Geo without stopping his steps. The face bolt was already like a ferocious beast that wanted to pounce on its prey.
Carefully Geo climbed onto the top of the bed, gently stroking Aish's black hair. Instead of giving happiness to Aish, his presence even more makes his wife hurt.
“Mas,” Aish blinked his eyes as he felt the rubbing on his head.
“Wake up, hm.” Geo smiled putting a kiss on Aish's forehead. “We go home now yes," he asked. Don't want to let Aish linger to meet mama.
The woman gave a small nod, after which Geo got up to pick up the hoodie in the closet and helped Aish install it.
“Sorry yes, the shirt smells late in the closet.” He said as he opened the hoodie's hand hole wide so that Aish could escape his hand without any pain.
"No Papa Mas," Aish replied with a smile. Although without love, but Geo always treat it with sweetness.
“Beauty Umma,” praise Geo makes Aish frown. “Umma?” Mumbled confused.
“Yes, this is the Umma of my children later. Very beautiful,” Geo again praised followed by a kiss on the forehead.
“Mas,” cheeks Aish already blushing red made. This time Geo's attitude is sweeter than before which is already sweet.
"Yes Umma, what's wrong hm." Tempting Geo, put his hand on Aish's waist and carried her out of the room.
“Mas, I can walk by myself. Later Mama see,” great-grandson Aish who returned frightened when remembering her mother-in-law.
“Emang why if Mama see, hm. You are my wife.” Without letting go of his embrace Geo led Aish down the stairs.
Without any good-bye intention he passed through the middle room just like that. There are still papa and mama.
"It's not good, there's Papa too."
"No need" Geo replied briefly.
Aish wondered in his heart, what happened during his sleep earlier.
“Aish his hand why?” Ferdinand was surprised to see his daughter-in-law's hand wrapped in bandages.
“Try Papa ask Mama,” replied Geo indifferently.
“He himself was crazy to the point of injuring his hand." Mama replied guiltlessly, even daring to stare intently at Aish who looked down in fear.
"Just call Aish crazy Mah, if there's a crazy person here it's Mama. No healthy person would hurt his own daughter-in-law." Geo growled furiously, Aish shouldn't have heard this painful sentence.
"Mas," instead of being offended by my mother's words. The woman was worried that Geo and Mama were fighting.
"Mama!!" One warning from Ferdinand made the mother of two children who returned to attack the son-in-law with her sharp tongue speech silent. "Sit down" he told Geo and Aish.
Geo took his wife to sit down. "Don't listen to Mama's words" she whispered in Aish's ear. Then tightening his embrace, he could feel Aish's body trembling in fear.
