The Part 31
Aish more quietly followed the adult man and the little boy to one of the play areas. They were like father and son, so familiar.
Little boss play is Nasya's choice. There are three play areas that make the boy happy, especially the ball pool.
In that place there is also a cafe that can be used by parents to wait for the baby while playing.
"Don't like the road?" Geo asked as they waited for Nasya who was busy throwing the ball.
Every now and then the boy buried himself in a sea of balls and stood up and threw the balls back. The children who played there laughed happily without burden like adults.
Since then Geo has interacted more with Nasya than Aish who looks anxious and uncomfortable. The woman was wearing a mask to cover her face. In a public place like this not many people knew him, but Aish was still not confident.
Aish just nodded small. He also did not want to order anything, just waiting for Nasya. His mood is not good.
"Aish," call Geo.
"Yes Mas" Aish replied without raising her face looking at the phone screen. Though there was nothing there.
"You marry me, I'll protect you. Stop the scorn of people about you," Geo said seriously, which succeeded in making Aish lift his face.
The woman blinked twice with what her ears just heard.
"I can protect you, but don't ask me to love you." Geo creates his own sensation in Aish's heart.
That means that if he married Geo, they would only have a marriage with status. Aish smiled smirkingly at herself.
He used to love someone. His name Aish always carries in prayer, but the man instead mentions the name of another woman in his prayer. Now she is asked to be his wife, but must not expect love from him. What kind of marriage will he have.
"I'm sorry if my words offended you." Geo is confused as to want to help Aish in any way other than marrying her.
When praying at the mosque with Abi Zayid earlier he had heard the sneers of people who accidentally crossed paths with him. They did not hesitate to demean the father and son in front of the person directly. Abi Zayid said there was no need to respond to their remarks when Geo wanted to reprimand him.
"I have to take responsibility. Because it's all because of me" replied Geo firmly.
"What kind of marriage will we build. If Mas alone can't love me," Aish said in a low voice.
"Like a wedding in general."
"Marriage is not that simple Mas, who love each other only sometimes they can not face the household storm. Especially if it's just pity, I'm not sure I can live it. I'm just an ordinary man, a woman with feelings."
"I don't like anyone insulting and demeaning you. But everything happens because of me. So I'm the one who has to finish everything."
Aish smiled bitterly from behind the mask, his head shaking slowly.
"Receive my offer, if it's not for you at least for Abi. He has been instrumental in my life. I'm sorry to see Abi's condition now, people take it low. And Abi could have clarified everything, especially about your marriage and Ustadz Adam being annulled. I will slowly settle this, bringing the real culprit before all of them."
Obviously Geo was at length, but Aish was unmoved on the spot. Not giving any response. Many thoughts were raging in his head.
"Abi wants to have a grandchild. You want to give Abi a grandchild," Geo persuaded carefully not to offend Aish.
"You want to give a child to me even without love?" Aish asked worriedly, should accept the offer or not.
Geo nodded confidently, making Aish rethink. One of his goals was to marry for Abi's happiness.
"Give me time to think."
"Yes, I'm waiting for your answer. Tell me whenever you have the answer." Geo's words coincide with Nasya calling his name. The man immediately stood up to Nasya.
Can Aish trust a man she's only known for a few months. He did not even know where the man came from. But seeing Geo who was so quickly familiar with Abi and Nasya created his own confidence in his heart. Especially when the man was protecting her.
