My Destiny You

My Destiny You
The Part 11

"I don't deserve to set foot in this sacred place. My sins are too many and I am ashamed to appear to God." Geo answered with a trembling voice, all this time he was so far away and at a distance from God. His feet stepped back, descending from the terrace of the mosque.

"God always sees us twenty-four hours, watching endlessly. More observant than man-made cctv. We are the only ones who forget the existence of God. So do something as you please yourself without following His rules." Abi Zayid smiled as he approached Geo.

"A despicable human like me is it worth it to be forgiven?" Geo asked hesitantly, as he never lived following God's rules.

"Allah is the Most Rahman and the Womb, giving guidance to His chosen ones. No matter how many sins they have committed. It is a proof of God's love for his servant. And today God has chosen Nak Geo to bow down to Him again. Hidayah is expensive, can not be obtained just like that. How lucky Nak Geo was to have been that chosen servant." Abi Zayid convinced Geo with his long speech, inviting the young man back to coincide with the dzuhur adhan proclaimed.

Geo was still hesitant to step into the mosque, but Abi Zayid did not give up until the man was actually inside the mosque.

The first thing Geo felt was peace when his feet first stepped on the tiles of the mosque. I don't know where the cold came from that made his heart go cold. His entire body was goosebumps when he heard the melodious sound of muezzin echoing adhan. Not feeling her tears fall without command.

Abi Zayid patted Geo on the back, taking him to the front shaf. Geo, according to him, wiped his tears that had fallen on the cheek.

"How does Nak Geo feel?" Ask Abi Zayid when one by one the mosque pilgrims return after the prayer.

Geo patted his chest which now felt increasingly squeezed after finishing praying. He was ashamed, ashamed of God. Given a chance to live a second time but not used well.

"Tight, but relieved." Geo, who was confused, explained how he felt at this time. It was like meeting someone she hadn't seen in a long time. But the feeling of relief was mixed with anxiety, fear and worry if left far away again.

"Whoever Allah wills good in himself, Allah will open for him doors of self-humiliation, feelings of helplessness, always leaning his heart to Allah Ta’ala and constantly feeling need for Him.

He examines his own disgrace, his stupidity and his tyranny. In addition, he witnessed and realized how vast the gifts, blessings, mercy and goodness of his Lord were and His wealth and self-complimentation.

Therefore, one who truly knows (God) will walk his way to God between these two wings (attitudes). He cannot live his life well except with both. When one of the two wings is lost, he is like a bird that has lost one of its wings.”

"I'm ashamed" said Geo bitterly.

"Indeed we should be ashamed of God, for so many favors but we often neglect to be grateful."

"I don't deserve God's forgiveness" Geo continued.

Abi Zayid shook his head, "Don't give up the mercy of Allah. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving and Loving to Geo. With Nak Geo in this mosque, it is a testament to the love and greatness of God." He said, after talking for a long time and Geo stated he wanted to study in the pesantren, Abi Zayid invited the young man home.

Arriving at home they are greeted by Aish.

"Bi lunch first is Aish prepared," said the beautiful woman in a light blue hijab.

"You don't eat, you want to go to school now?" Abi Zayid asked after letting Geo sit down.

"Aish to Nana Bi's house, that's Nasya again. Don't want to go to school if I don't come to pick you up there" he replied with a wry smile. That was Nasya's threat when he called.

Abi Zayid nodded, then recalled something and said. "Abi gave your answer to Adam's son. The day after tomorrow they will come to kill you."

The abi's words made Aish freeze where he stood. It was as if it was running out of oxygen to breathe. "Come, why all of a sudden?"

"Later to talk again" he said, then turned to the confused looking young man in front of him. "Let's eat Nak Geo," Abi Zayid asked.

Aish let out a long sigh moving into the room, her mood turning bad in an instant. "Calm Aish, calm down. You said you'd obey Abi's wishes." Dialogue with yourself, to convince his heart back. He wants to get married, but not so soon. The effect is rushed.
