CHAPTER 7

A week after the incident, Amora was no longer working at Novotel. He resigned the day after Dion was admitted to hospital. Only in this way did Amora make amends. Although Mr. Angga is very sorry he was out of his job. Even the restaurant employees came back uninspired when they found out that chef Amor was leaving.

Dion smiling. "Who do you think? I was looking for you after I got out of the hospital, actually the first day you resigned even I wanted to find you. But my mom kept me out of the hospital. Why did you run Amora?" ask Dion.

"I didn't run, it's just your fiance wanted it. And it's all my fault." replied Amora.

"You're not wrong Amora, I should have told you, so you can be careful. Thank you for saving me. I'd be happy if you did it while I was conscious, but it's a pity that I fainted." seduced Dion.

Amora's face flushed red, Dion watching her. "You're so embarrassed, was that your first kiss?" ask Dion.

Exactly his guess. Amora's face grew red as she stood up. "It wasn't a kiss, I was just saving people in need. I want to go home, sorry for the incident." replied Amora as she stepped but her hand was held Dion.

"If you feel guilty, go back to being a chef, Amora. I'll be waiting for you tomorrow. And one more thing Amora, Grace has no right to fire you. Hotels need a chef like you. Think of Amora, and your mom really likes you. He sends his regards, he wants to meet you at the restaurant." he said. "And never save another man in such a way. I'm going to kill him." threatened Dion.

Amora breathed her. "I'll think about it. And one thing Mr. Dion, saving someone doesn't look at him as a man or a woman sir. Thank you for your concern." she replied as she left Dion.

Dion watched the beautiful woman leave him, he missed her so much. She wanted to hug him just now. But Amora was so hurt, already 2 times Gracia hurt her. Dion must immediately decide on the woman and bring Amora into his life.

The woman's words are also true, if saving someone does not look at men or women. But she won't let Amora give her lips to any man. His jealousy began to grow bigger.

Amora was laying her body in her mansion, fortunately Dion did not follow her. He did not want the man to know if he was staying in a luxury house and also know if he was the owner of the Sheraton hotel. His father would be angry if he knew that Amora worked as a chef in someone else's hotel restaurant.

Hengky Marco is the father of Amora Cerry who wants her daughter to become a doctor, but her daughter instead chooses to be a chef just like her mother. Just one year of studying medicine and then moving majors to become a chef had made his father very angry. But in the end his father forgave him for loving him so much and wanting to make him happy after his mother Lili died, by making conditions for Amora Cerry.

"Papa's so disappointed in you, Amor, you've been studying medicine for a year. Suddenly you moved majors without asking papa for permission." snapped Hengky.

"I really like cooking pa, I'd rather do it than have to deal with blood." replied Amora.

"Oh my God, Amor. Mama is the chef, can't you be different from her." snorted Hengky back.

"What's wrong if I'm the same as my mom. Mama agrees, right?" amora asked Lili her mother.

"This is because my mom overindulged him and continued to teach him how to cook. Papa just wants him to be a doctor ma." said Hengky.

And that's when Lili collapsed and was taken to the hospital. Throughout the journey Amora always cried and blamed herself but it turns out her mother suffered from end-stage brain cancer without their knowledge. Hengky was also struck by the news, his father closed himself and a week later, Lili returned to God. Leaving her husband and daughter.

His father finally agreed that Amor moved majors but on condition. "You can learn to be a chef, but after graduation. Papa won't let you work as a chef. Papa wants you to study hospitality." said Hengky.

From then on Amora agreed to her father's terms and returned to Paris.

And since he returned from Paris, he has not agreed to replace his father in charge of the Sheraton hotel. He even quietly applied for a job as a chef at another hotel, and he was very happy to do it.

To keep watch, he hides who he is from anyone for fear that his father knows. As long as he worked his father never knew and when he resigned, he had to consider returning to being a chef.

Amora closed her eyes, she could not think clearly at this moment.

Dion returned to his home and sulked at his mother. "I didn't succeed mi. I want it." she told Diana.

"You think mommy doesn't like it. My mom loves Amora. Mommy prefers that woman over Grace." whispered Diana. "Try to convince your papi that Grace is not good for you" he continued.

"I can't be mi, mami is the one who can persuade papi." replied Dion.

Diana shook her head. "On business, papi is harder dear" said Diana.

"Did papi sell his son for business?" ask Dion annoyed.

"Dion, this isn't just papi's fault. But you're the one who agreed to it." replied Diana.

"Because Dion never fell in love with a woman, I thought I'd be able to start with Grace. But no one likes that woman. Even Jojo sir prefers Amora." said Dion.

"So you really like Amora?" diana and Dion asked. "Then fight for your love dear, your mother will help you by supporting you." she continued.

Dion hugged his mother again, which is what he always does at home. Behind his perfect attitude at work, there is another side to him that is different when with his mother. Even the man forgot his age which was almost 31 years old.
