CHAPTER 13

Amora arrived at Novotel and immediately headed to the restaurant making Pak Joni stupefied.

"Well, didn't you ask permission this morning?" ask joni sir.

Amora laughs. "I'm sorry, Joni, after a few minutes I changed my mind. I didn't like to stay home, so I decided to leave" she replied.

"Oh my God, are you sure you're healthy? I don't want you to pass out here." said Mr. Joni.

Amora laughed again. "I've never fainted sir, where are Dori and the others?" ask Amora.

This time Joni laughed. "Do you see what time chef? It's still too early for them to come." he replied.

Amora looked at her watch, it turned out she was half an hour faster. "Oh my God, I'm part of it. All right, I'll start by myself." he said.

Mr. Joni nodded and let Amora work in the kitchen. Half an hour later the restaurant employees one by one came, they were very happy to see the presence of chef Amor.

"Chef Amor, are you okay?" ask Dori.

"Of course, I'm here." replied Amora.

"I think today will lose chef Amor" Dori said.

"Nearly." replied Amora flatly.

"You mean chef?" ask Dori curiously.

"So morning I had permission with Mr. Joni, but the next second I went in." replied Amora with a laugh.

Dori did not ask again the continuation, he began to help chef Amor concoct seasonings and other dishes.

Dion arrived at his hotel, as usual he was greeted by hotel employees. But there was something different about Dion today, he didn't care about the state of the hotel. He went straight to his office followed by Mr. Haryo.

"Have you had breakfast?" ask Mr. Haryo.

Dion shook his head. "I have no appetite" he replied.

"I will ask chef Amor to deliver your food, today we have an important meeting with officials who will use our hotel for his inauguration" said Mr. Haryo.

"No need, don't say his name again in front of me, Mr. Haryo. Just bring the meeting documents today." cried Dion.

Mr. Haryo is very confused, his CEO is not very good today.

What happened to Chef Amor? Isn't Mr Dion always excited when it comes to that beautiful chef? thought sir Haryo.

But he did not need to ask much questions, after completing his task. Mr. Haryo came out of the CEO's office. Dion simply nodded without turning away from the documents he had read.

When it was lunchtime, Amora felt something was wrong with her CEO, since her arrival this morning Dion had neither breakfast nor lunch.

Is he still mad at me for this morning? But where is my fault? I didn't cheat on her, thought Amora.

He gave Mr. Joni permission to go out for a while, today was his first meeting with Gracia's father. I don't know what the guy wants. The cafe in front of Novotel is very luxurious. The cafe is indeed most of the upper middle class who come. Amora sat at one of the tables waiting for the arrival of the man she had never met.

A few minutes later, a well-dressed middle-aged man walked up to him.

"Are you chef Amor?" ask the man.

"I'm really chef Amor." replied Amora.

"I'm Darwin Gracia's father. It's nice to meet a beautiful chef like you." he said.

Amora returned her hand. "What do you need to do to get me to meet you with a threat?" asked Amora, she did not want to be stale.

Darwin sat in front of Amora. "You're in too much of a hurry, chef, we'd better have lunch first" he said.

"I'm sorry for my stupidity, Mr. Darwin, but I'm not meeting you for lunch. I'm not in the mood to do it with a guy I just met." replied Amora.

Darwin laughing. "I really like a woman like you Chef Amor. You're friendly but also sniffy." he said.

Amora stand. "If nothing matters, I'd better get back to work" Amora said.

But Darwin held his hand. "Wait a minute pretty, I have a good offer for you, sit down." she asked.

"Am I bargaining sir?" ask Amora.

"Oh come on, this is good for you" replied Darwin.

Amora finally relented and sat down again before the man. "Say Mr. Darwin, I'm still working. My break is only half an hour." said Amora.

"Well, you know if my daughter Grace is your CEO's fiancee?" asked Darwin and Amora nodded. "My daughter was annoyed by your presence chef, well after I met you it was only natural that she was afraid. I won't bother you anymore if you leave Novotel. Come to my hotel as my chef and I'm interested in you. I can be the man you count on." Darwin said, then he suddenly clasped Amora's hand. Amora was surprised.

Amora pulled her hand. "You've been disrespectful, I'm just a chef not a woman you can bargain with. I won't disturb your daughter's relationship. And I don't like men who are my father's age." he said.

Darwin arrived angry and pulled Amora's hand. "Take off me, Mr. Darwin, or I'll yell." snapped Amora.

"Do it, then you will feel the consequences." threatened Darwin.

Amora tried to let go of her hand, she started to hurt. But suddenly the voice of a man shocked him.

"Take off chef Amor sir Darwin." snapped Dion while pulling Amora. "You don't take care of your dignity and dignity, how can you treat a woman of your age like this." asked Dion furiously.

Darwin let Amora go laughing. "It just so happens that you're here. I was just kidding with your chef. Yes, chef Amor." he asked.

"You're the jerk I've met." snapped Amora.

Darwin. "You brash, that Novotel is also a quarter of mine. I can fire you." cried Darwin.

"You have no right to fire my hotel employee, Mr. Darwin. Even if we're working together, it doesn't mean you can interfere in the affairs of my employees." said Dion. "Go back to chef Amor's hotel." Dion ordered.

Amora nodded and left the cafe.

"What did you mean by that Dion?" ask Darwin.

"You're going to be my son-in-law, and we're working together" Darwin said.

"I decided not to be your son-in-law again, Mr. Darwin. I don't love your daughter, and sue my hotel if you don't accept my decision." Dion said, leaving the cafe.

"Fuck you, how dare you insult me. You will feel the consequences of your humiliation Dion Pranadja." cried Darwin but ignored again by Dion.

Dion chases after Amora who just arrived at the hotel lobby. He pulled Amora into his office. "Shut up, come with me." snapped Dion before Amora rebelled.

Amora follows her CEO, and almost all the employees look at her as well as Haryo and Hany as Dion pulls Amora's hand.
