CHAPTER 46

A week had been allotted for Stenly, but Dion still had no good news from the man. He was very curious about the results, if indeed Stenly could not help then he would not help Steven again to roam freely.

The day is getting late, Dion calls Mr. Haryo to get into his office.

"What's up, sir?" ask Mr. Haryo.

"Sir Haryo, hasn't Stenly contacted us yet?" ask Dion.

Mr. Haryo shook his head. "There's no news, sir" he replied.

Hany knocked on the door. "Get in." said Dion.

"Sir Dion, Mr. Stenly wants to see you" Hany said.

Dion and Haryo look at each other. They didn't expect Stenly to see Dion in person.

"Get him in Han." Dion ordered.

Soon Stenly entered with a stiff step to meet Dion. Hany left the room while Mr. Haryo was still accompanying Dion. Dion greeted Stenly with a shake of his hand.

"I was very surprised, it turns out you met me directly Mr. Stenly. Please sit down." said Dion.

"I'm sorry I didn't make an appointment first. But meeting in person is the right way." replied Stenly.

Dion nodded. "Of course, I'm so glad you came" said Dion.

"I came here to give 2 different news, good and bad news" Stenly said.

Dion laughing. "I waited a week just to hear the good news, Mr. Stenly, I don't want to hear bad news" she replied.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Dion, I tried my best to seduce Steven. Even papi helped, but we couldn't make a decision until the end" Stenly said.

"What do you mean?" ask Dion.

"The good news is, Steven wants to release the land without asking for any compensation, this is the certificate" Stenly said while submitting documents to Dion. "The bad news is, Steven made the condition that you accept the land" he continued.

"What's that requirement?" ask Dion.

"You have to trade it for your fiancee, Amora." replied Stenly.

Of course Dion immediately rose in blood, he stood up and slammed the document.

"You think Amor is an item that can be exchanged for land." he snapped. "My engagement is priceless, don't play with me." she shouted.

"Calm down sir." said Mr. Haryo.

Dion laughing. "Is a guy like Steven able to calm me down, Mr. Haryo?" snapped it.

"Mr Stenly, it looks like my threat you're taking for granted is bullshit. But you're wrong if I'm afraid of Steven. Mr. Haryo prepare documents about Steven, we will leave for Medan now." Dion ordered.

Stenly laughed out loud causing both of them confusion. "O Lord Dion, you really love your fiance that much. I'm sorry I played a little with you." he said, handing Steven a letter of agreement to Dion.

Dion accepted it and was wide-eyed when he read it. "What does all this mean?" ask Dion.

"I'm sorry for trying your patience, Mr. Dion. My brother released Amora and the land without any conditions. He will stay in England with his wife, 2 days after I meet you. My brother made the mistake of impregnating the daughter of an English nobleman, of course he could not avoid the marriage, because the punishment he would receive was the death penalty. So Steven eventually married the woman and lived in England forever" Stenly said.

Dion and Haryo sir were wide-eyed, they were just as shocked to hear that. "It's amazing, your brother planted a seed where." sneered Dion. "Why are you calling me now?" tanyakanya.

"I had a job until the transfer of the company from Steven's name to my name, of course I was very busy Mr. Dion. I'm taking the time to come here today because I'm flying to Jakarta. I hope after this we don't have any more problems, and congratulations on your marriage later. May you be happy." replied Stenly as he stood up and extended his hand.

Dion welcomed his hand. "Are you in a hurry?" ask Dion again.

Stenly nodded. "I've kept my promise to release you from Steven. Now I'm going to start my life with my family's good name. Thank you for your patience, Mr. Dion." said Stenly.

"I'm also grateful for your help. Mr. Haryo documents Steven." pinta Dion.

Mr. Haryo gave Dion the documents.

Stenly received the document while nodding. "I say goodbye, Mr. Dion, good afternoon." he said.

Dion nodded as he escorted Stenly out of his office. After the man disappeared, Dion immediately saw the land acquisition files and Steven's affidavit. He breathed her with relief.

"Good Dion" said Mr. Haryo.

"Thank you Mr. Haryo, I'm very relieved. Send all this to our lawyers, we'll continue the recreational construction after my wedding is over." Dion ordered.

Mr. Haryo nodded and took the documents. Then he went to see the lawyer as Dion had ordered.

"really? You sure?" ask Amora when Dion calls.

"Right, baby, we can calm down now" Dion replied.

"But Steven is great at marrying the daughter of British royals" Amora said.

"Are you sorry you didn't marry Steven?" ask Dion.

"You're crazy Dion, even though he's handsome and rich, I don't love him. The only man I'll be with is you." replied Amora.

"And I won't allow any man to come near you and steal you from me Amor" Dion said.

Amora laughs. "Which man doesn't fear you, Mr. Dion. You always threatened to kill them." he said.

Dion laughed. "Tell papa dear, I'll see her when I'm done with work." she said.

"Papa is going to Surabaya, it is likely to come back the day after tomorrow" said Amora.

"Why don't I know?" ask Dion.

"Papa's leaving, baby, someone wants to be taken care of there" replied Amora.

"Then you stay in my house as long as papa isn't around. Mami must be so happy you're with her, you can talk about our wedding preparations." Pinta Dion.

"That's what I really think, baby, you have the same thoughts as me. But I'm afraid to trouble your family." replied Amora.

"Omong empty Amor, you're like their own daughter. Then leave your car, I'll pick you up after work." said Dion.

"No, I'm going back home to get a change of clothes. You just pick me up at home." ask Amora.

"All right, I'll pick you up before dinner. So we can have dinner with mami and papi, surely Lady Diana will be happy." said Dion.

"Okay, I'm waiting for you. But don't have any thoughts of that kind as long as I'm at your house, our marriage is only a week away" Amora said.

Dion laughing. "You're so confident, baby, I don't think about anything but wanting to be close to my future wife." she said.

"Stop baby, you always say things that make me ashamed. Never mind, I have a meeting this afternoon." said Amora.

"Dear, I'll see you tonight. Dah.." said Dion while turning off his phone.

Dion smiled happily. This is a very easy path to the steps to ask Amora. He hoped their marriage would have no more obstacles in the future. Dion continues her work to pick up her lover before dinner. But he also did not forget to contact his mother to prepare their dinner.
