CHAPTER 3

Gracia headed for the restaurant, all the employees staring cynically at her. None of the hotel employees liked the CEO's fiancee. Gracia sat in the VIP room, and called out to the waiter.

"Can I help Miss Grace?" ask waiter.

"Call that new chef, hurry" he ordered.

"Sorry miss, chef Amor is busy right now" replied the waiter.

Gracia kicked her desk hard. "Since when do I ask for an excuse, you want me to fire" he snapped.

The waiter was upset and immediately went into the kitchen. "Chef Amor, the CEO's fiancee wants to meet you" he said.

Everyone stared at chef Amor. "You guys take it easy, I'll be fine." replied chef Amor reassuring them.

"But chef, that woman is crazy" Dori said.

Amora patted Dori on the shoulder and smiled, then walked over to Grace.

"Can I help you, miss?" ask chef Amor.

Gracia looked up, she stared at chef Amor from top to bottom. "Since when does a sexy chef look like this, have you deliberately done it to seduce hotel men including my fiancee?" tanyanya cynic.

"I'm sorry, miss, you're being disrespectful. I'm a chef not a cheap woman." snapped Amora.

Gracia stood up and ruffled her waist. "Since when did a hotel employee dare to yell at me." he shouted. Gracia's hand floated slapping hard on Amora's cheek.

"How dare you slap me." said Amora then returned the slap, making Gracia fall backward.

They invited the restaurant manager. "Oh my God, what's going on?" ask Joni.

"You dare to do that, you I fired. Get out of this hotel." Gracia snapped.

"You think I work for you? As long as the CEO doesn't fire me, then you don't have the right to do it" Amora replied.

"Chef, please stop" Joni said. "I'm sorry, chef Amor Miss Grace, what do I have to do for you to forgive her?" joni's question made Amora very upset.

"Fired that woman, how could you hire such an ignorant woman" Gracia replied.

"Who told you to do that, Grace?" snapped Dion. The man is told that if his fiancee makes a scene at the restaurant, he knows Grace's target must be chef Amor. "Nobody can fire chef Amor except me, and I told you to go home, right?" abugn.

"Darling, but that bitch slapped me." said the spoiled Grace.

"So your word, you could be prosecuted for defamation. Apologize to chef Amor now." ask Dion.

"But.." said Grace.

"No words but, if you don't want to. Then I won't forgive you." snapped Dion again.

Gracia's face hardened. He held back his emotions. "Sorry." he said as he left the restaurant.

"Please continue your work chef, sorry for the harsh treatment" Dion told Amora.

Amora nodded and went straight into the kitchen again.

"Joni, report to me immediately if Grace disturbs chef Amor again" she orders the restaurant manager.

"All right sir." replied Joni.

Dion left the restaurant back to his office.

"Wow.chef Amor is great." said Dori made all clap.

"Hey, that wasn't a spectacle. But she dared to slap me." replied chef Amor.

"But only this time someone dared to fight the CEO's fiancee. And what's even more astounding is that Mr. Dion is defending you as a chef." said Joni who went into the kitchen.

"The answer is only one jealousy. And you're prettier than Grace, of course that woman's crazy." Joni replied, embarrassing Amora. "There have been dozens of employees fired by Grace and got approval from the CEO but only this time I was told to protect you chef. You're very lucky." sank.

"Thank you, if Mr. Dion had fired me, this would have been a record breaker in my life. I was fired the first day I worked." Amora answered making everyone laugh. Then they resumed their activities.

Gracia visited her future in-laws crying. When he arrived at the magnificent house of the Pranadja family he immediately rushed into the arms of Dion's mother.

"What's up, baby?" ask Diana Pranadja.

"Tante, Dion scolded me and kicked me out of the hotel" Gracia replied.

"Why would Dion dare to do that to my son-in-law?" ask William Pranadja.

"That's because the new chef at the hotel restaurant, that woman also dared to slap me om. But instead Dion defended her." Gracia replied again.

Both surprised. "How dare an employee slap my son-in-law. Om will call Dion. You take it easy, om will fire him if the chef is found guilty." he said.

"Here baby, don't cry anymore. You haven't eaten, have you?" ask Diana.

Gracia. "Dion canceled lunch with me, and he ate with the chef instead. I'm so upset aunt." she replied.

Diana smiled and took him to the dining table. But Diana was so shocked by Gracia's story, it was the first time Dion had eaten with her hotel employees and it was the hotel's chef. Diana knew her son didn't like Gracia at all. His son is forced to accept Gracia because of the cooperation between William and Gracia's father. Diana became curious as to what kind of female chef figure that could melt the hardness of Dion's heart.

"Auntie why smile?" gracia asked as she chewed her lunch.

"Well, no Grace, auntie's just glad you ate here" Diana replied.

Gracia smiled at her future-in-law's answer. Then smiled cunningly, as he grew more and more convinced both of Dion's parents liked him.

Dion sighed as he looked at his phone. Her father contacted her, this must have something to do with Gracia.

"Hello pi." replied Dion.

"What did you do to Grace? Dion, you know, we're working with his company." asked William.

"O Lord papi, papi always hears the half story of Grace. The woman made a fuss at the hotel just because of our hotel's new chef. He slapped chef Amor. Of course the chef replied, because the woman was not wrong." replied Dion. "I'm a lot of work, so I canceled my lunch with Grace. I asked the new chef to deliver his new menu, which is when Grace came and misunderstood" Dion said.

William breathed. "Bapy knows, Grace is very spoiled. But you don't want to hear anymore if Grace slaps your employee. Either way that woman will be your wife Dion. I don't want my daughter-in-law to be demeaned by your hotel staff." she said.

"Bapi take it easy, as long as Grace isn't like that I'll defend her. But not if he's wrong, he also has to learn to respect others, especially my hotel staff" Dion replied, turning off his phone.

Dion put his body in a chair.

Damn woman, I'll keep investigating your company. I have to find your fault, so that I can break this engagement.

Dion closed his eyes, and again saw the beautiful face of chef Amor.

Oh my God, my heart is beating again. I've gone crazy, she said herself.

He could not wait for the arrival of chef Amor at dinner. He wanted to stroke the cheek that was slapped by Gracia.
