CHAPTER 16

After many meetings with clients outside his office, Dion visits where his father and Darwin used to meet. He did not want Darwin to carry out his plan, because Dion believed his father still trusted Darwin very much. He must immediately dismantle all plans and defects in Darwin's company.

The place they meet is Sukarame golf course. Dion went inside and sure enough the two were playing golf together. But Dion had to patiently wait as they rested and started talking. "If your son could act like Willi, I would be happy" Darwin said.

Darwin shakes. "If you knew when Dion insulted me at the cafe, you would have said something different to Willi. Your son is not as good as you say. He has no manners to his parents." he was upset.

"You must not indiscriminately insult my son, he is the son of my pride. He can't insult you if you don't make a mistake." William began to get upset. "I want to know the real story until he breaks this engagement" she continued.

"What's breaking up? When did Dion break off my engagement. No, I don't want pa. I want Dion." whine Gracia.

"Relax, dear, papa called William here to get things done" replied Darwin. "That day I met your chef, I just wanted to warn you to stay away from Dion. "I didn't do anything, I just wanted him to get out of Novotel and stay away from Dion, because I didn't want my daughter's relationship to be hampered by him. Because according to Grace, the woman was trying to get close to Dion" Darwin replied. "I want Grace and Dion to be married soon, otherwise I'll withdraw all my investments and cancel all our contracts of cooperation" he said.

"Calm Darwin, don't make that decision so quickly. We can talk about all this with a cold head" William said.

Dion could no longer bear to hear that conversation. Darwin is a very cunning old man. He got up from his seat and approached them.

"Not everything you've told my papa, Mr. Darwin" Dion said, surprising everyone. But the most feared of course Darwin. "Tell my real papa, also in front of your daughter so she knows what her father has done to chef Amor" she said.

"No Grace, papa didn't do anything" Darwin replied, beginning to get nervous.

Gracia couldn't believe what Dion said. "Papa loved Mama so much, there was no way she could be like that." he snapped.

William was silent, which is why Dion was so angry. Dion gave the file to his father.

William continued to look at the files in his hands and was wide-eyed when reading about the evasion of corporate funds and taxes that Darwin did. The man tries to unite the company to cover up his crimes. All this time William has been lied to.

"You guys, don't be like that, I could have decided on our cooperation right now" Darwin threatened.

William was inflamed, he was very angry and threw the dossier in front of Darwin. "I was fooled by our friendship Darwin, you used me and sent your daughter to carry out your plan." - William. "I decided our cooperation, and of course from this moment on there will be no more arranged marriages. Come on Dion, we're home." he said.

William didn't care about it, he kept walking out with Dion.

"We met at Dion's house" William said as he entered his car.

Dion nodded and got into his car as well. As usual, Jojo was driving it.

"Sir Jojo, we're going to the company now, as I said this afternoon, you're taking this car. Let me and Amor be with the car. Follow us to his house. I don't want the old man to bother Amor." Dion ordered.

"Ready den, Jojo sir" he replied as he headed to Novotel.

Dion was relieved by all this, his father was furious. But he believes his father is still very worried about the state of the company because Dion has not had time to tell about his cooperation with the Sheraton hotel. If his father knew, he would have calmed down by now. After taking Amora, she would tell her father everything.
