Naina woke up a few hours later, at eleven. When she opened her eyes, Elisha was standing not far from the bed.
"Mrs, you're conscious." Elisha approached, watching Naina closely. "How do you feel, Madam?" ask Elisha.
Naina collects her life, while trying to sit down. Looking at the clock, Naina remembers her fainting as Reygan cornered and scolded her.
"Mistress?" call Elisha.
"I'm fine Lisa" he said.
"Better you eat soon Madam. The doctor says you are tired and late to eat. It will have a bad effect on your stomach." said Elisa.
Naina was silent, **** her meal was still not stirred despite the pain in her stomach. I feel like nauseous.
"I've prepared the porridge for you. Better to eat while it's still warm."
Finally Naina nodded, making Elisha take the tray he had prepared earlier on the nightstand.
"Please Mistress."
Although it is not tasteful Naina still eat it. He doesn't want to get sick.
"Lisa." call her. "Steve's been eating?"
"Had Madam. The Young Master was recited dongen by Miss Sesil via a video call at nine o'clock before going to bed." explained Lisa.
Naina nodded, "Thank you this morning you helped Steve get to school."
Elisha was silent, looking closely at his Young Madam. He was astonished at Naina who was still good and survived in this house. Elisha was silent all along, but he noticed everything. She notices how Naina is always taking care of Steve patiently. Although working, Naina can still manage her time to pay attention to Steve.
Not to mention the insults and insults from Steve. Naina remained patient and ignored everything. Plus Reygan who always cornered him.
If she was treated like that, Lisa could take it. Because he realized, he was just a servant in this house. But Naina is a wife in this house. It is not worth such treatment.
"Madam." call Elisha.
"Yes Elisa. What's up?" naina replied after laying down her porridge.
"Why are you still thinking about Mr Steve? Though the Madam always gets arbitrarily treated?" Elisha looked down, "I'm sorry I was so presumptuous."
"No papa." Naina smiled, "Steve is now my responsibility. Even though Steve doesn't think of me, I'm still a mother. And I'm going to act like a mother to her child." explains Naina.
Lisa nodded, not wanting to ask again. Lisa is a mother, she also must have felt what Naina felt. But Naina was too young to have such thoughts.
The next day, Naina was already feeling better after taking the medicine from the doctor. The girl woke up as usual. He saw Reygan had just come out of the walk in closet, already tidy with his work clothes.
For a moment their eyes met, but Naina turned her face away. Then go into the bathroom.
After that, Naina went to Steve's room. The boy's still asleep.
Naina looked at Steve. A handsome face that looked innocent when soundly like this was soothing to his heart. Actually, Naina pity Steve who does not get the full love of his parents. Steve and Naina felt the same way. But at least Steve was luckier. This boy knows who his parents are, and he doesn't know at all.
"Steve." call her softly. Rubbing his head gently. It woke Steve up.
Steve sat down, "Let's get up. Get ready for school" he said softly.
Steve was dumbstruck, staring at Naina. Strangely Steve according, and did not throw a curse or bad mention on him.
Steve still faithfully watched Naina who was helping him wear the uniform. Steve could still see Naina's pale lips and sweat on her forehead.
She wanted to ask, but remembering what she did to Naina, held her back. Steve remained silent until Naina led him to the dining room.
"Have Son. How are you doing? Elisha said you were sick?" ask Rudi.
"It's been lightening" he replied, ignoring the glare from the man before him.
"You don't work?" rudi asked, seeing that Naina was still wearing casual clothes.
Naina shook her head, "Naina takes Pah's leave. Nai's stomach is still a bit sore" he said, while taking breakfast for Steve.
"It's better that way. Rest at home. Eat it not too late again. You have to stay healthy" Rudi said. "Lisa, these few days, prepare a healthy meal for my daughter-in-law." she ordered Elisha to be faithful there.
"Good Lord."
"I don't want bread" said Steve when Naina gave breakfast bread as usual.
"Hmm? Why?" ask Naina gently.
"I want something like that." pointed at the fried rice with Reygan's nipple omelette.
Naina looks at it, moves the bread back, then gets Steve's breakfast.
"Eat a lot of Steve" said Rudi.
"It's over" said Steve after finishing his fried rice. "Let's go."
Naina's done too, "Come."
"Pa, we go first." said Naina.
"Grandfather, Papa, Steve to school first."
"Go Nak. Studying diligently." said Rudi, while Reygan only nodded faintly.
Naina and Steve get out of the house, heading for the car ready to drive them.
Steve got in first, but when Naina was about to open the car door, someone pulled her hand.
Naina turned around, seeing Reygan now standing in front of her.
"What's wrong?" asked Naina, in a resentful tone.
Reygan realizes what he is doing, then releases Naina's wrist.
"My words last night. You didn't forget it, did you?" said the man was flat.
Naina frowned, "Which one?"
Reygan clucked, "Get out of the job. And do what you're supposed to do!" firmly the man.
"Why should I do that?" Naina did not accept.
Reygan squinted, annoyed by the girl's resistance before him.
"Of course you should do it. You must obey all my orders while you stay in this house. You must be self-conscious, madam. You're nobody here, so don't try to put up a fight with me. You are just a poor girl that my Papa picked up, you should know yourself better! " refer to the man.
Their eyes glared at each other, Reygan growled, while Naina was full of injuries. Almost the tears stemmed, but he held it as hard as he could.
Reygan ended that look, leaving Naina.
