July Refuses Marriage

Noa sat down next to Cruz and spoke with some hesitation. “ I don't know what Cruz should talk to you about, but I definitely don't have feelings for Tian. He expressed his feelings for me but I refused him.You know that, there is nothing I hide from you Cruz”, Noa said staring at Cruz.

“ I know Noa. I'm just worried you're shocked because of those nasty comments”, Cruz stroked Noa's cheek.

Noa smiled “ I was indeed a bit of a Cruz shock, only I thought all those comments would pass. I just thought about your reaction”, Noa said honestly.

“ Then why didn't you answer my phone?”, asked Cruz.

“ I don't know what to say Cruz, I'm afraid we got into a fight on the phone and made a misunderstanding”, Noa said.

Cruz nodded. “ But I'm getting anxious. I was a little upset that the article was Noa”, Cruz said, advancing his body towards Noa.

Noa looked at Cruz like sorry “ I'm sorry”, Noa's voice sounded soft.

Cruz smiled then raised his kiss to the girl warm and deep. “ I like you more than anything Noa, don't hurt my heart”, Cruz said and kissed the girl again.

Julie sat in the living room with her parents. His face looked displeased, his mind raging. 

“ Think again about this matchmaking July. I hope you can react to it wisely”, his father told July

July was silent and did not comment. But when Julyada is in her room, July's mother follows her from behind to give her child understanding. 

“ Honey, this matchmaking can also make you happy. He's a good guy, a successful businessman, you don't have to bother working. I just want you to be happy”, said mother July.

July smiled cynically. “ Mother have I ever complained about my work? have I ever troubled my mother about my finances? this matchmaking is not for my happiness but for father and mother right?”, said July Ketus.

“ July, which parents give suffering? this is all for your good”, asserted his mother.

“ Stop talking about my kindness mom. Ever since my mother brought me into this house I've been unhappy, keeping me from my father until the day of his death, at school I was stamped on the son of the cheat, I was shunned by my friend. Do you think I'm happy? the happy one is mom, not me. All this is hell”, cried July. 

Plaac…. 

For the first time July got a slap from her mother.  “ You don't be insolent July. I got to this position all for your sake. You think we can live with your father's work like that? You will not be able to shine like now if the city does not come out of that house”, said his mother angrily.

July looked at her mother with a flat face, her cheeks looking red from her mother's slap. 

“ I should have stayed with dad only, at least my day would have been normal like any other girl”, July said then picked up her bag and walked towards the door. 

Before coming out of the door July stopped and spoke again “ my career as it is now is because of my own efforts mother. Look carefully, only Jay who supports me is not a mother or money mother”.

After saying so July left the house. Determined not to go back there again, not because of his mother's slap but see his mother who changed because of the treasure. With tears breaking, July drives to Jay's apartment.

July sits in Jay's living room with her eyes puffy and cheeks red. Jay came with an ice pack in his hand. Without asking what's up, Jay helps compress July's red cheeks. July just stares blankly at the unlit TV. 

“ I was betrothed to a businessman”, the words of July made Jay's hand stop for a moment from his activity compressing, after a few seconds Jay back compressing the cheek July.

Jay said nothing, did not comment on July's words. Suddenly July cried, her tears soaking down her cheeks. With a hiccuping sound, July continued to cry in front of Jay. 

Jay puts the compress down and grabs July in his arms. That's all Jay can do for years if July cries, including when July decides to leave Cruz. 

Jay holds July and takes the girl into the room and puts her on the bed. Jay looked at the face of the girl he loved. For years Jay loved July in silence. 

Jay stroked July's cheek and said softly “ Do you know I love you? is it not visible in your eyes? how do I get to be with you?”.

After saying so Jay stood up and left July in his room. When the door was closed, July opened her eyes. July does fall asleep, but wakes up because Jay put her on the bed and July does not open her eyes. Turns out it was the right choice.

Now that his heart was pounding rapidly, he heard clearly what Jay had said. July's face heats up, her friendship with Jay turns out to mean something else to Jay. 

Julie was not ready for what she heard. His heart should have been normal, because he knew Cruz was the one he loved. He should have been pounding because Cruz wasn't Jay. 

But why is he pounding because of Jay's words? 

July fixed her sleeping position. Shit, am I too long single to thump because of a sweet word? July cursed in his heart. 

In the end, July could not sleep well, she kept thinking about Jay's words for her. What am I supposed to do? pretend you don't know, it's a good choice.

July woke up in the morning with a crumpled face. Not fresh, he even thought about Jay's words.

The atmosphere will definitely be awkward for July. He should have just gone home last night. That way he won't have to listen to Jay's confession and become awkward like this.

July came out of Jay's room, having previously dyed like a professional thief. I wish Jay had gone to work and he could have gone home without reprimanding the man.

Jay did not appear in any corner of the room and with a definite step July ran a small to the sofa and picked up his bag on the floor.

"Why are you sneaking around like that?", Jay's voice made July jump in shock.

July turns around and finds Jay standing behind her in her home clothes and holding a glass of water in her hand.

" Aren't you at the office?", asked July trying to look calm.

Jay looked at July in wonder. " It's Sunday, why am I going to the office" Jay replied casually.

July was silent, and yesterday was Saturday.

" So why are you sneaking around like that?", Jay repeated the question.

July stuttered "That's, I'm just embarrassed because my eyes are swollen" said July slightly lying. Of course, at this time July did not want Jay to look at her who was in a mess.

Jay stared in wonder at July, since when did July become shy of such a cat. It used to be that even July had vomited in front of him while drunk, now even feeling embarrassed just because of his swollen eyes.

Jay nodded. "Wash your face and have breakfast. You know where the new toothbrush is ? your face soap is still stored on the top shelf. I'm waiting at the dinner table", Jay's bosses were denied by July.

July walks into the bathroom like a robot and realizes one thing. All this time he was too willing to go in and out of Jay's house without knowing Jay's feelings for him.

Even his facial soap is in Jay's house. How foolish July was to still think they were friends.
