Christian nodded. "Oh yeah I've read your latest book. Can you have your autograph in my book?", asked Christian.

Noa laughs. " For what? You even have my phone number" joked Noa.

Christian laughed "Yes right too. I'd better have a picture with you" Christian said.

Noa smiled at Christian who returned her joke.

" Oh yes there is one thing I am curious about. Why did you water me with cendol?", asked Christian. .

Noa looked at Christian with a shocked face because of that unexpected question. Then Noa looked at Christian wrongly.

" Emm... Haha... I didn't accidentally" Noa said embarrassedly.

Christian frowned in disbelief.

" Can we not discuss that. I'm ashamed", Noa whispered softly to Christian's meaningful smile.

" Well, I won't talk about it anymore. But tell me first why?", asked Christian again.

" All right I'll go" Noa got off her chair. He couldn't tell Christian why it happened. If Christian knew, he would probably think Noa was the strangest and most poignant woman on earth.

" Okay.. Fine's.. I'm kidding", Christian held Noa's arm.

Noa smiled awkwardly then sat back in her chair. " Thank you" said Noa.

" Can I call you from now on?" asked Christian.

" Yes.. We are Christian's friends. You can call me", Noa replied more relaxed.

Noa welcomed the hand and smiled. They shook hands like two people who had just met. After that the chatter just flowed like water.

Cruz was agitated in his seat. July stood beside him holding Cruz's arm.

He could be stuck here because one of his friends dragged him here for a special VIP guest. And guilt strikes him for leaving Noa alone downstairs.

Cruz walked out of the room and around the pool to go to Noa.

There was a sense of annoyance in Cruz's heart because Noa could laugh with others while with Cruz Noa never laughed after that.

" Noa" Cruz called.

July rolls her eyeballs in annoyance when she finds Cruz coming just to look for Noa.

Noa turns around and finds Cruz there. " Oh hi. You're back", Noa said, then smiled at July.
