Jay and July

July sat on her bed pensive, staring at the news portal on her ipad. Cruz was having a heated discussion because of a fight with his girlfriend, on his birthday yesterday.

" Fuck you", July throws an ipad next to him and lays himself on the bed.

July looked at the ceiling of her room. He shouldn't have left Cruz. But at that time his career was in the first place. If he chose to stay with Cruz then he wouldn't be as brilliant now.

July has always been calm because Cruz has never had any scandal with any woman. But look now, news about Cruz and his girlfriend is scattered everywhere.

Maybe others don't know who the woman is, but a handful of people including July know that it's Noa. A woman who somehow came from a world that ruined all circumstances.

Things that were initially calm for July go awry due to Cruz's change. July is overconfident, feeling Cruz just loves her. Cruz will never be able to find anything else but him. Feeling that he could melt Cruz's heart.

Alfa manager July walked into her room. " Are you awake?" asked Alfa.

“ July, someone came to meet you”, Alfa said.

“ Who?”, asked July uninterested.

“ Jay, the CEO came to meet you personally”, explained Alfa then left the room.

Hearing Jay's name being mentioned, July immediately sat on her bed. 

 Jay came in and smiled at July. “ How are you?”, asked Jay

“ I'm fine. Thank you for visiting me”, said July.

Jay sat down on the chair next to July's bed. “ Yesterday, you lost your control again. What's the matter?”, asked Jay to stare softly at July. 

July just fell silent not answering questions from Jay. 

“ Because Cruz? Again?”, Jay makes sure. 

“ Me, just want to be with him kak”, replied July.

Jay breathed a heavy breath. “ Did you know that Cruz is not looking at you now?”, Jay asked the fact that July knows. 

“ He was just mad at me”, replied July.

“ He doesn't love you anymore July”, Jay said in a loud and firm voice.

July's tears fell to her cheeks hearing Jay's words. 

“ Stop liking it. I don't want you to hurt yourself because of Cruz”, Jay said. “ Cruz is my best friend. You're my little friend. I brought you into the world of entertainment to make you realize your dream of becoming a star. If this hurts you I'll regret my whole life July”, Jay looks at July with a sad look on his face. 

Julie was still crying in silence. “ I'm sorry for leaving him Jay. I liked it so much that it made me nervous. I want him back with me”, said July sadly.

“ Enough. I don't want you to talk about Cruz, I don't want you to cry because of him. I sent some things about you to management abroad. They will consider whether you can debut in Paris or not. If that happens you should go out there and forget about Cruz. Prepare yourself”, Jay explained as she stood up from her chair.

July just listened to Jay. As Jay walked towards the door July called out. 

“ Jay, do you hate me?”, asked July.

Jay turned around and looked at July then smiled “ I'm still the same as it used to be July. It was still like that time”, Jay said. 

July's heart beats hearing Jay's words. 

“ Rest “, Jay said then left July alone in the room.

July looked at the man who looked older than her with a jutek face. 

“ I'm captain in this complex, you're a new kid huh?”, he's still yelling. “ You mute?”, he said again because the question was not answered by July.

Confidently, the little man jumped down from the top of the tree like a monkey. Nimble and fast, a few seconds later he was already standing before July. 

“ Hello, my name is Jay... the most handsome and brave man in the whole world”, he said confidently.

July stared at him still with a jutek face ‘ confident once he’. July leaves not welcoming Jay's hand. 

July kept walking towards the playground not minding Jay who kept raving behind him.

Jay was shocked “ was so fierce”, Jay said.

They arrive at the park, July swings alone while Jay sits on a slide and lies there. 

July just moved to this area. She was sad because her mother remarried a widower son. When moving into this house, it is very visible that the son of his new father is very disliked by July and his mother.

But his mother always said, later the boy who will be his sister will get used to their presence. But July was still uncomfortable. 

A group of boys aged 8 to 9 years entered the park. They laugh and when they see July one of them nudges the other. 

“ You're a new kid huh? I just saw you”, asked someone whose body was bigger than the others.

“ You know this is our territory. This park is ours. You must leave here”, said the big body.

“ I don't want. Get your hands off my shirt”, July yelled as one of the guys pulled her down from the swing. 

“ Wooooiiii...”, Jay yells from behind a slide. “ You guys are so noisy. You guys want to fight girls?”, Jay said as he woke up from his sleep.

“ Who are you?”, ask the big body. 

“ Me? I'm in Jay the most handsome guy in the whole universe. You're who? sissy huh?”, asked Jay.

“ Sissy? you want to die ya”, shouted the big body. 

“ Real men will not oppress women. Understand?”, he shouted. 

“ You... I'll beat you”, scream in a big body but one of them held it. 

“ No, you lose. He's Jay that's a loh. What I told you yesterday, the black belt taekwondo...let's go”, said one of them. 

They ran out of the park. “ Beware you.. later we reply”, shouted the big body. 

Jay just looked at them with an arrogant face. July smiled happily to see them running out of the park. He then approached Jay who was back lying on the slide.

“ Hi Jay, thank you for helping me. Forgive me for being rude to you”, said July.

“ Hmm no problem”, Jay replied casually. 

“ My name is July”, July reached out her hand to Jay while giving a sweet smile on her face.
