Manfred turned to his best friend. He stared in wonder, at the man with such a large stature. “What do you mean, Ehren?” tanyanya did not understand. “He is Heinz Lainer. Son-in-law of my best friend, the late Gunther Lienhart.”
The man named Ehren did not immediately answer. He continued to pay attention to Ludwig, who dared to return Manfred's probing gaze. “No. You're wrong, Manfred. His name is Ludwig Stegen. He's the most wanted fugitive ever by a German Federal Agent. They have spread photos of this man to countries around Germany, as well as all Austrian police stations. It has been done for two years. How can I miss something like this?” Ehren shook his head inexplicably, for his negligence.
“Maybe you got the wrong person, Sir,” denied Lilia. She keeps a lid on Ludwig's identity, despite knowing who the man she married was. “Again, who are you to dare call my husband a fugitive.” The usual Lilia looked innocent and timid, this time looking different in Manfred's eyes.
“Lilia?” Manfred raised his eyebrows, as a sign of a subtle reprimand for the woman. “He is Ehren Jarvas, the police chief in the region,”.
After hearing the reply from Manfred, Lilia fell silent at once. Gunther Lienhart's only daughter turned her eyes to Ludwig. There was an uneasy look in his shady eyes. Again, Lilia looked uneasy.
Seeing the unusual gelagat from Lilia, making Ludwig who had just been silent had to do something. The copper-haired handsome man moved his hand towards Lilia. “Come here,” he said slowly.
“I don't like what he says.” Lilia approached Ludwig. “Can you leave us both, Uncle?” Lilia turned a glance at Manfred, before turning her attention back to Ludwig.
Manfred agreed. After all, he was indeed going out with Ehren, his best friend who was a police chief. Manfred also wanted to resolve the curiosity, for the truth of what Ehren said earlier.
After closing the door to Ludwig's treatment room, Manfred immediately took Ehren away from there. Not even they moved from the hospital area, the middle-aged man had immediately flocked his best friend with a million curiosity that wanted to be completed immediately. “Quick give me an explanation of what you said earlier. How can you call Heinz a fugitive German Federal Agent?”
“Gosh, should we discuss it in this place?” Ehren shook his head while clucking softly. “If you don't believe me, I can take you to my office. However, not today.”
Manfred took a deep breath. The middle-aged man stood up while shaking his waist. “Then, it is better to say now also here,” pinta Manfred half urgent.
Ehren did not immediately respond. The police chief pulled out a cell phone. He contacted his aide of trust, then ordered some police officers to come there.
“What are you doing?” manfred asked not to understand. He stared at his best friend
Ehren returned the gaze that Manfred had cast on him. “I must be on guard so that the man does not escape,” he replied calmly.
“Yes, God. Heinz only regained consciousness after getting medical treatment ..”
“The name is Ludwig Stegen!” Ehren. “Ludwig Stegen is a very dangerous man. Do you have any idea how many illegal businesses he runs in Germany? Very terrible business.” The police chief's tone was full of emphasis, albeit in whispers.
“What example?” manfred asked increasingly curious.
Before answering his best friend's question, Ehren first took the man in the checkered shirt to a quieter place. They continued the conversation in the parking lot, near Manfred's car.
“Ludwig Stegen had a lot of business when he was in Germany. Businesses that are legally recorded there are several kinds and spread in countries around Germany. Property, casino, nightlife venues. Extraordinary.” Ehren clucked in admiration. Meanwhile, Manfred listened while occasionally frowning brows.
“However, in fact all that does not make Mr. Stegen feel satisfied. He also runs a illegal business. Drugs, illegal arms sales, women's trafficking, and another one that gives me goosebumps.” Ehren grimaced small.
“What?” manfred asked seemed to be getting serious about the conversation.
Ehren looked around first, before answering his best friend's question. He drew closer to Manfred, then spoke in half a whisper. “He runs organ trafficking business in humans.”
Instantly, Manfred widened both of his eyes. He stared intently at Ehren. That shocked roar slowly turned into an expression of overwhelming anxiety, as he recalled Lilia. “My nephew,” hisses slowly.
“Do not worry. Several plainclothes police officers stood guard in front of Ludwig Stegen's treatment room. I have to make sure that the man doesn't run away anywhere,” Ehren told his best friend. “I don't think he would dare hurt your nephew,”.
Manfred did not respond. He recalled the words of Gunther aka Dominik, who suspected that his son-in-law was no ordinary man. The alleged owner of Lienhart Farm was not wrong.
If indeed the man who married Lilia was named Ludwig Stegen, it meant that the marriage that had been carried out was not legal. “I have to bring along to keep Lilia away from dangerous men like her,” thought Manfred half muttered.
Meanwhile, in the treatment room. Lilia still looked agitated. He walked back and forth while occasionally biting his nails. Heavy sighs full of complaints also repeatedly slid from his lips. Lilia was so anxious that the situation might deteriorate again, after Ludwig's identity was exposed. I don't know what will happen to that guy. Moreover, at this time Ludwig is still in a condition that does not allow to do a lot of motion.
“We have to how, Ludwig?” asked Lilia worriedly. He went back to the bed, then sat half-side down. The beautiful red-haired woman grabbed and tightly grasped Ludwig's hand. Shows how much attention, as well as his concerns to the handsome man.
“Calm down, Lilia,” says Ludwig quietly. “Oliver will help me in this.”
“How will the man help you? Meanwhile, he himself did not know that you were being treated here,” denied Lilia who did not let go of the anxious look of her beautiful face.
“He will know soon,” Ludwig replied with a glaring look to the ceiling of the room. “Oliver will definitely do something, according to what it has promised.”
“You have not managed to find Radko Trava,” denied Lilia.
Ludwig did not have time to answer, because at that time the door of the treatment room was first knocked by someone from outside. He turned to Lilia, as a gesture for the red-haired woman to check on him immediately. However, Lilia immediately shook her head. He refused to open the door.
“It's okay,” said Ludwig quietly.
“I don't want to. I will not let anyone come in here, other than nurses,” said Lilia.
“Just open,” Tell Ludwig. There was no look at all of an anxious expression on the handsome face of the man. He again gestured to Lilia, for the woman to open the door immediately.
Inevitably, Lilia finally complied. He moved to the door, then opened it slowly. There was Ehren there. The police chief nodded politely to Lilia. “What else are you here for?” ask Lilia ketus.
“I want to talk to Ludwig Stegen for a minute,” Ehren replied. “Please, Mistress. Cooperate.”
“I don't like it if anyone calls my husband a fugitive!” Lilia's tone sounded increasingly snarled.
“Nak ...” Manfred nodded slowly. “Let Mr. Jarvas do his job.”
Lilia still did not accept Ehren's presence there. Highlight the eyes of the beautiful woman, implying a huge sense of objection. However, Lilia did not want to make a fuss there. With great force, the woman allowed Ehren and Manfred to enter.
“Ludwig Stegen's. Are you able to communicate well?” ask Ehren. “Minimal you can hear everything I'm about to say,” he said again.
“Speak,” reply Ludwig flat.
Ehren mendehem slowly, before starting what he was about to say. “I've contacted the German government to inform you of your presence here. They'll pick you up right away, then move your treatment there. As a precaution before you were transferred, I've placed several guards outside this room,” obviously the big tall man is full of authority.
“You can't do your best, Mr Jarvas!” lilia's protests are loud. He continued to show disagreement with what Ehren had done to Ludwig.
“I'm sorry, Madam. We've got a red notice from German Interpol. So, we have to do the mandate that has been given. Your husband is the most wanted fugitive. As it turns out, he is in this region,” explains Ehren.
“I won't let anyone take my husband!” reject Lilia firmly.
“Please, Mistress. Your husband has been a fugitive for years. He must live out the consequences of all the crimes he has committed. However, of course I do not have the authority to pass judgment on him. Therefore, handing over Mr. Stegen to the Germans immediately, is the most appropriate path. I don't want to take any risks.” As a security officer, Ehren still had to do his responsibility. He will never compromise on security issues.
Lilia turned to Ludwig with an indecipherable look. “If they take you to Germany, then I will come,”.
“Cannot! After all, your marriage to this man is not legal!” reject Manfred is no less firm.
