“Really?” Ludwig's tone of question sounded doubtful. The handsome man raised his eyebrows next to her.
Oliver gave a crisp laugh as he caught the impression of disbelief implied by Ludwig's tone. The middle-aged man turned to Albertina who had fallen asleep without a thread. Oliver stepped near the bed. He pulled out a blanket to cover his wife's crazy body.
“You don't believe what I'm saying? It doesn't matter to me. After all, I have nothing to do with Lienhart Farm. If I wanted to, I'd have had all my men on the ambush mission that night, to tear apart the ranch. Moreover, we know that you are there,” he explained convincingly.
Ludwig exhaled a rough breath. What Oliver said made sense. After all, they are the government, which of course already has official permission to enter Austrian territory. There's no way Oliver and his men are doing damage that's gonna cause chaos.
“I'm not sure if Gunther Lienhart finds out that you're going to ambush me at his farm. I saw for myself the man was very surprised.” Ludwig again expressed his disbelief, over the explanation given by Oliver.
Oliver laughed again. He sat in the window seat and looked at his wife again. Albertina was not bothered, with the conversation going on there.
However, it was Oliver who felt disturbed, when he heard the roar of the car engine stopped in the front yard of his luxury residence. The middle-aged man got up from the chair, then stepped near the window. Oliver lifted the curtain. The man saw the princess who had just returned from nowhere.
“Gunther Lienhart just pretended to be surprised. He acted really well that night. Too bad, the Night Crawler members messed things up.” Oliver muttered softly, with a glaring gaze out the window. I don't know what the minister is thinking. Spotlight Petra's father's eyes looked very strange, like storing something that made him feel burdened.
“How was your meeting?” asked Oliver a moment later.
“You are not saying that Radko Trava is the one who always goes undercover,” Ludwig said.
Oliver smiled knotingly. “I've been able to catch him a long time ago, if I knew what the real figure of the man was. The photo I attached in the file on your computer, was the one who claimed to be Radko Trava when I met him.”
“Yes, and I received several other photos that also claimed to be the man,” timpal Ludwig accompanied by a heavy sigh.
“I don't think it will be difficult for you, considering you are also an impostor,” said Oliver so lightly. “Remember how much reward you will receive, if you succeed in this mission. The libertad. You can fly anywhere without fear of being targeted by the guns of hunters.”
From then on, with the help of Dietmar and Niklas, Ludwig continued to gather information. Without notice, six more months had passed so quickly. However, there has been no result that is too significant. Ludwig has yet to find a clue that could really make him feel confident to track down the whereabouts of Radko Trava, until Niklas gives a very surprising news.
“Our people who are in Poland, have seen one of several photos sent by Dietmar to you a few months ago,” Niklas reported when meeting Ludwig in person. Niklas continued to be in Munich, because he was used to following Ludwig's movements wherever he went.
“Where?” ask Ludwig. If that person wasn't Ludwig, then he would have soared in excitement from getting a bright spot. However, another case with the handsome man with gray hair. His expression remained flat and ordinary.
“In Warsaw, Sir,” replied Niklas.
“Warsawa?” relaunch Ludwig. “How are our people there?”
“Jedrick will prepare everything you need if you want to go there. I'll call him as soon as possible to make sure. Jedrick also kept a close eye on the man, so as not to lose track,” explained Niklas.
After meeting Niklas, Ludwig returned to his hiding place. He called Oliver. As usual, the man was upset that Ludwig contacted him in the middle of the night. However, after getting the news that Ludwig conveyed, Oliver's irritation subsided a little.
“I want you to facilitate my departure to Warsaw,” Ludwig's pinta without burden.
......................
Two days later
A motorcade of three luxury SUVs has entered the Polish border region. The front car stopped near the guard post. There, there appeared several officers in military uniforms, complete with all the weaponry attached to their bodies.
A man in a neat suit got off the SUV earlier. He took off his sunglasses, as two guards in military uniform came out of the post to conduct an inspection. “Good afternoon,” greet the neatly-tuned man who is none other than Daniel Ehrlich, personal aide of Oliver Harald.
Daniel seemed to be talking to the two border post guards earlier. The man who seemed to be the same age as Ludwig looked very lithe and familiar. He showed the passports to the two guards, while continuing to speak. A warm smile full of familiarity was not separated from the handsome appearance typical of German men.
“In the car was Mr. Defense Minister Oliver Harald. He took his family with him to work and wanted to enjoy a vacation in Warsaw,” pointed Daniel at the black SUV in the back of his car. “The third car contains the personal bodyguards of the minister sir,” the man explained again.
The two men in military uniforms nodded firmly. They then walked gallantly towards the car that Oliver was riding in. The driver lowered the windshield.
“What's the problem?” ask Oliver in English.
“Good afternoon, Minister sir,” greet one of the two guards.
“Good afternoon,” reply Oliver. “I hope, we are not complicated here,” he said sitting in the middle seat with Albertina. “This is my wife. She's my daughter with her future husband,” show Oliver to the back seat. There, Petra looks spoiled on the shoulder of a man in a hat, with sunglasses that are none other than Ludwig.
“Alright, Mr. minister. Welcome to Poland. Very long journey, huh?” The guard made small talk while waiting for his partner who was checking the third car. In the vehicle, it contained four men in sunglasses who were Oliver's personal bodyguards.
“Aman!” exclaimed the guard who was inspecting the third car while brandishing his thumb.
Without a complicated inspection process, Oliver's motorcade finally passed through the border area freely. Ludwig, who was sitting in a car with the minister, was able to breathe a sigh of relief. He just had to be more patient and restrained, as he continued to be close to Petra for approximately eleven hours on the road.
By nightfall, the motorcade arrived in Warsaw City. Oliver rents a house that Ludwig will later occupy, as long as the man is there.
“Are you going to put us in the same room, Dad?” petra asked without any burden at all. He glanced mischievously at Ludwig who did not care about him.
“No! Your room is on the top floor. Ludwig Stegen I put it downstairs. He would remain in this place until an unspecified time limit. Meanwhile, we will return to Germany early tomorrow morning!” oliver's firm is full of emphasis.
