Mr. Stegen: A Man with a Hidden Identity

Mr. Stegen: A Man with a Hidden Identity
Two Way Attack

“Yes, God. What is the original human skeleton or ..” Lilia could not continue her words. “Quick close back the closet, Heinz!” Lilia tugged the husband's arm out of the room. He also invited the man to leave the cottage immediately.

“You why? I wonder whose skeleton it belongs to.” Ludwig brushed Lilia's hand away. He grumbled softly, having to undo his intention to look for information that he might be able to get.

“I'm afraid, Heinz. It looks like, it is a genuine human skeleton.” Lilia looked troubled. The beautiful woman was very tense, knowing that her father had hidden a human skeleton inside the log cabin.

Lilia suddenly remained silent. He is like a confused person. Slowly, his slender body slumped, then collapsed sitting on the floor. “What has my father done, Heinz? Was that what made him prohibit everyone from approaching the cottage? He ... he keeps someone's body there. How long is the body of a dead person, until only the bones are left like that?” Lilia started to mess up. He shook his head repeatedly in disbelief.

“For many years,” replied Ludwig. He squinted his eyes, as if he was thinking about something. A moment later, the man slumped. Ludwig moved quickly to pull Lilia's body still sitting on the floor. The man half dragged her to a more hidden and dark place. Ludwig immediately smothered Lilia's mouth, as the beautiful woman was about to protest against him.

Lilia. Holding Ludwig's hand still in her mouth, the young woman noticed an approaching movement. The shadow of a person that is getting clearer and clearer, shows the figure of a man. From his stature, Lilia was convinced that it was the father.

Lilia closed her eyes, as the figure had entered the room. Moreover, when the owner of the shadow shouted out loud. “Who has dared to come in here?” his jolt. From the sound that was heard, it was clear that the person was indeed Gunther.

Slowly, Ludwig removed his hand from Lilia's mouth. He moved slowly while placing his index finger on the lips, as a signal that the wife did not move or make a sound. Ludwig gave the code, so that Lilia would remain in her place.

Ludwig advanced from the gap of the wall that became his hiding place with Lilia. While the young lady remained unmoved. Luckily, a pillar of size large enough, could block Lilia's slender body, making her figure invisible from the direction of the entrance.

“I broke into your cottage, Mr. Gunther,” Ludwig said with a cautious attitude.

“You!" jolt Gunther while pointing dislike to Ludwig.

In the dimness, Ludwig noticed Gunther's facial water changes. The middle-aged man looked agitated, angry, mixed with hidden fear.

“Whose frame is it, Mister?” ludwig's hiss, which made Gunther even more strange.

“You are so insolent! Don't know manners!” Gunther's hand that had been clenched earlier, he immediately lay all his might on the son-in-law's face.

However, of course Gunther was not a balanced opponent for Ludwig. With ease, the handsome man dodged as well as resisted the attack launched by his father-in-law. He clutched Gunther's hand so tightly that he could not move.

“I just asked, Sir. If you don't feel guilty or hide something, you should just answer my question easily." Ludwig smirked a little. He felt satisfied, as he looked at Gunther who seemed to feel cornered.

“You!” Gunther's sentence paused, when he heard a noise outside the cottage.

“Ludwig Stegen! Come outside! This place is already surrounded by special forces! Let's make everything easy! Surrender now!” someone who is none other than Oliver Harald. He spoke with a horn speaker (a funnel-shaped loudspeaker).

“Ah, dammit! You useless son-in-law! You brought soldiers here!” guther's jolt that couldn't contain the emotion.

So did Lilia who was hiding behind a pillar. He was surprised and curious. Who owns the name Ludwig Stegen, who was mentioned by someone with a loudspeaker out there. Lilia ventured out from hiding. He stepped near his husband. “Who are they looking for, Heinz? Who is Ludwig Stegen?” tanyakanya.

“Lilia! Why are you here too! Since when do you dare to refute my words?" Gunther is getting out of control.

“I'll count down from number five, Mr. Stegen! Five ...”

Oliver hasn't been able to continue the count, but Gunther has already run out. From where he stood, he could see the guardrail of the ranch area not far from the cottage. Around the fence, lined with sturdy men in tactical uniforms typical of military forces and fully armed.

“Are you Gunther Lienhart?” Oliver turned his gaze to Lilia's father.

Gunther didn't answer right away. He was still confused by the circumstances around him. Moreover, because the light beam is so bright that it comes from above and is directly fixed on him. The middle-aged man squinted his eyes while looking up. There was a helicopter, flying right over the sky of his farm.

“We've been watching this farm for a few days. My men can memorize beyond the heads of the intricacies of your farm. Including secret places as well,” said Oliver. He kept talking using a horn speaker.

“Never think of anything. Just so you know, my team is equipped with heat-detecting binoculars. Even if it was so dark around, they could easily see the movement of two people from inside the log cabin. I can guess, Ludwig and your daughter are in there,”, Oliver said.

“Ah! What day is this? Why is everything suddenly in chaos!” Gunther ruffled his hair which started to mix gray.

“You guarantee there will be no chaos, as long as you can persuade Mr. Stegen to come out of hiding. Ask her too, where did she hide my daughter?”

Oliver's loud voice, can be heard clearly from inside the hut and also to Lilia's sense of hearing. The young lady turned to Ludwig with a disappointed look. “Is he talking about you? So, your name isn't Heinz Lainer? Then, who is the princess in question?” asked Lilia without pause.

“I don't have much time to explain everything to you. You ...” Ludwig did not continue his words, when a deafening, violent explosion rang out. Spontaneous Ludwig immediately hugged Lilia to protect her.

A moment later, the atmosphere turned pitch-black. Feeling that Lilia was safe, Ludwig broke her embrace. He walked slack out of the secret room, towards the window of the cottage located beside the exit. Without her noticing, Lilia followed in her footsteps and stood beside Ludwig.

“Gosh, they blew up the heavy equipment storage,” said Lilia in disbelief, while covering her mouth with both hands.

“Petra!” Unknowingly, Ludwig mentioned that name. The name of the woman who can be the key to his freedom from the fugitive status he has been holding. “Stay hiding here until it's safe, Lilia!” he said as he ran out of the cottage. Ludwig left Lilia there. The main focus is the barn which is right on the side of the heavy equipment warehouse.

Oliver's men turned their target towards a few masked men lined up neatly. The masked men were as if making barricades in front of the barn. They wear bulletproof vests, and are armed with long-barreled rifles. Some of them also carried grenades.

Ludwig looked around before doing anything. Gunther raised his hand, next to the humvee-type car with the open bonnet that Oliver was riding. On the side of the door of the barn that was slightly open, Ludwig also saw Gunther's men already lying covered in blood.

“Please, Oliver Harald. Come here or you can't see your beautiful daughter's face anymore!” threatening a masked man.

Ludwig gasped. He doesn't think anything else, when masked men and Oliver's men cross fire. In between the whirring of the bullets, Ludwig lunged into the barn. He ran towards Petra who was sitting hugging her knees, in the corner of the room full of straw with a look of fear.

“Come. Follow me!” Ludwig pulled Petra's hand. He took her running towards the side door of the barn that directly led to the ranch's wooden guardrail. Ludwig helped Petra jump over the wooden fence. Just as his turn leaped, Ludwig heard Lilia's soft voice calling out her name. Ludwig. He found his wife standing right behind him.

Without Ludwig realizing it, the young woman turned out to continue to follow his movements. Lilia hid behind the barn, when Ludwig pushed her inside.

“Are you leaving me, Heinz?” ask Lilia. His eyes look sad.
