“Sgratitude.” Lilia and Manfred were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief, after hearing the doctor's explanation of Ludwig's condition.

“We wait until your husband comes to his senses. Currently, he is still under the influence of drugs,” explained the doctor again.

“Can I see him, Doctor?” asked Lilia expectantly.

“Please. However, let the patient rest first so that his condition quickly stabilizes,” the doctor said again.

Lilia nodded in understanding. The red-haired beauty, this time can smile without burden.

“Everything will improve soon, son,” Manfred said as he gently rubbed Lilia's arm. “It just so happens that one of my acquaintances, his wife, is being treated at this hospital. I'll see him first.”

“Iya, Uncle. I'll see my husband.” Lilia smiled gently. He stared at Manfred's departure, before confirming Ludwig's condition.

Inside the room where Ludwig was, there was no one but that man. He lay with his eyes closed tightly. The wounds on the face and blood stains have been cleaned, so the handsome face of the German man is again clearly visible.

Lilia walked over. He stood beside the bed where Ludwig was lying. The young woman looked at the man who had made her fall in love, with no boredom at all. Lilia even repeatedly singled out a sweet smile, while enjoying the physical beauty of a Ludwig Stegen. The ranch owner's daughter dared to touch the back of Ludwig's hand, then rubbed it slowly.

“You really are a tough guy, Mr. Stegen,” said Lilia quietly, right near Ludwig's ear. He also kissed the man's cheek gently.

“Mistress,” scolds a nurse, which makes Lilia surprised. Instantly, the red-haired woman straightened up. Lilia gave a smile. There is a shame that has taken away his feelings.

“We will move your husband to the treatment room,” said the nurse who caught Lilia earlier.

“Oh, yes. Please.” Lilia shifted away from the bed, as two nurses approached. They pushed Ludwig's bed out of the room into the treatment room.

Meanwhile, Lilia followed behind. He only noticed, when the two nurses moved Ludwig's sturdy body to the bed that was already available there.

“If there is something with the patient, please press this button,” point one of the two nurses earlier, on the row of buttons on the bed.

Lilia nodded while smiling gently. He waited until the nurses came out of the room, before approaching Ludwig. The twenty-three-year-old woman pulled up the chair near the table next to the bed. Lilia sat down as she continued to look at the handsome man who had not yet awakened.

The sound of a knock on the door had managed to restore Lilia's consciousness. The woman got up from the chair, then stepped near the door. Lilia opened. He found Manfred standing outside the treatment room.

“I asked the nurse in the room earlier. They said that your husband had been moved here,” Manfred said, before Lilia had said anything to him.

“Come in, Uncle.” Lilia invited Manfred into the treatment room. “Heinz is not yet human. I left our clothes and gear at the cottage.”

Lilia thought for a moment. He didn't want to trouble Manfred. However, the man had his own vehicle. This can shorten the time on the journey. “I don't want to trouble you, Uncle,” said Lilia doubtfully.

Manfred smiled when he heard the words of his best friend's daughter. He shook his head slowly. “You are the daughter of Gunther Lienhart. My pal. You're like my daughter, Lilia. Since your father is gone, I feel obligated to give you a little attention and kindness. Moreover, in the current condition.” Manfred smiled as he touched Lilia's smooth cheek. “Again, I love your new hair color,” his jokes are accompanied by a crisp laugh.

However, Manfred's laughter stopped immediately, when a mobile phone rang from his shirt pocket. The middle-aged man immediately checked. He did not feel awkward, accepting the incoming call even in front of Lilia.

However, Lilia understood. He passed from the presence of the veterinarian. The woman sat down again near Ludwig's bed.

“I'm in the treatment room. My niece's husband has been moved out of the action room,” Manfred told an interlocutor on the phone. “Yes. The place is only blocked two rooms from your wife's room,” said the man again.

Meanwhile, Lilia smiled as she watched Ludwig begin to open her eyes. He gave thanks again, because the German man could survive. “Do you want something?” lilia asked as she brought her ear closer to Ludwig's lips, which still looked weak.

“You,” replied Ludwig quietly, right near Lilia's ear.

Countless how happy Lilia's heart was, hearing the small appeal of a Ludwig. He sat back on the chair, without taking his eyes off the handsome face with some bruises adorning him. “I'm happy because you're awake,” said Lilia. He could not get rid of the sweet smile, which he had already shown Ludwig.

“I'm glad to see you again,” Ludwig replied. A smile appeared on his thin mustachioed lips. Although it was only a little, but it looked so sweet in Lilia's eyes. “Who brought me here?” ask Ludwig again.

Lilia replied, Manfred approached them first. The middle-aged man was standing on the left side of the bed. “How are you doing, Heinz?” tanyakanya. “I'm glad you got through a critical period quickly.”

“Thank you, Sir,” reply Ludwig slowly. His attitude returned flat, while talking to Manfred. It seemed, Ludwig was just being sweet towards Lilia.

“I'll bring your things from the cottage. I brought food here. I'm waiting for a friend. We'll be out together.” Manfred turned his attention to Ludwig, then turned to Lilia.

“Thank you, Uncle. You're very kind. I'm so embarrassed, because I've been bothering you ever since. I don't know who else to ask for help. You're the only one that comes to my mind,” said Lilia unwell.

“Gosh. I told you this was my responsibility too. You don't have to feel awkward. Those words apply to you too, Heinz.” Manfred smiled, as he turned to Ludwig who only replied with a faint nod. “Breaklah. My best friend will be here soon. I'll introduce you to him.”

Coinciding with Manfred's words just now, there was a knock on the door. “Let me open it,” prevent Manfred, when Lilia will be getting out of the chair. Lilia sat back down, while Manfred walked to the door.

Not long after, there was a familiar greeting full of warmth, between Manfred and his friend. “Mari in. I'll introduce you to my niece and her husband,” with Manfred. He held the shoulder of the man who was his best friend, near the bed.

Instantly, the man was stunned. “Ludwig Stegen?” he said not to believe.
