Ep.57 Take a Dinner Together

In the afternoon leading up to the evening Zevana and Maxime spend their time relaxing at home, now both of them are seen lying on the sofa while watching television until finally their attention is diverted because of Maxime's phone ringing. Max grabs his phone and there it says that his mother is calling, Zevana shrinks the TV so Maxime can pick up the phone without having to move far.

- M - In Call

“Halo son, are you busy?” ask his mother

“No ma, what's up?” Maxime asked back.

Her mother's voice sounded a little doubtful “Um... Actually tonight your mama, papa and your two future in-laws want to take you to dinner. Only the six of us, can you?” tanyakanya.

“I could have but I have to ask Zee first. I'll tell you again later” said Max.

“Alright, don't take too long son. Mama must reservation place” he said laughing softly.

“Ya, bye ma” said Max then turn off the phone connection.

- M - Mn's End Call-

Zevana had been looking at Max since his name was mentioned when Max and his mother were talking on the phone, he looks a little weak because more or less he can already know what the contents of the conversation Max and his mother.

“Mama invited us to dinner together with your parents as well. Are you gonna be okay?” max looked at Zee worried.

Zevana sighed then lowered her head “Iya, it's fine. I also can't avoid them for too long” he said.

“It's okay if you can't yet, I'll find another reason” Max said confirming the state of Zevana.

Zevana looked at him then shook his head “No need to do that, let's meet them” he said smiling faintly.

“You sure? I will tell mama” Max said and Zevana just nodded her head for sure in response.

When Max again contacted his mother, Zevana with mixed feelings spread her body on the sofa and pulled the blanket to drown her whole body under the blanket.

Max saw it was just about to grab Zevana's blanket, the woman seemed to know and stop it “It's okay, I'm fine. I want to sleep so don't disturb me” he said.

“You sure you're okay? Can't you sleep?” max hesitated to open the blanket or not.

Zevana again sighed “How can I sleep if you're still here” he said lying.

“Sleep, I won't bother you” said Max laughing softly at the woman's reason, he won't be able to leave Zevana sleeping alone here.

“With you still here alone it has greatly disturbed me” said Zevana ketus.

Maxime just smiled as he held his laughter hearing that, he grabbed the remote and turned off his television and then he got up and lifted Zevana's body which was still covered in blankets to his room.

“A-what are you doing?” peekkik Zevana hysterically while opening her blanket to reveal her face.

Max again showed his flat face “Your body will hurt if you continue to sleep on sofa” he said.

Zevana rolled her eyeballs off “Mana maybe, the sofa was almost soft with a mattress in my apartment” he said.

“Maybe that's why you never sleep soundly in my house” said Max cocky.

Zevana grudges don't like “Hey! I always sleep well if in my house” protest.

Max didn't respond to Zevana's babbling, though, he laid the woman's body on her expensive bed and then went to lie beside Zee and before she could get up from her bed Max first held her waist and pulled Zevana's body closer to him.

Max hugs Zevana waist “Sleep, I will accompany you to sleep” he said

“Thank you for your good intentions but I'm more comfortable if I'm on my own” said Zevana was about to escape but failed because the man tightened his embrace.

“Don't protest too much and go to sleep or you won't be able to sleep at all later” said Max who inexplicably sounded ambiguous in Zevana's ear.

Zevana was unceasingly chattering in Max's arms and the man only smiled anxiously at the girl's chattering patiently, until they slowly began to fall asleep and enter the dreamland.
