Ep.40 Rocking Chair

After dinner they all just sat around with the whole family including their parents, everyone sat on the living room couch and the men were talking about cars and companies, while the women were just listening to the men's conversation before finally getting a discussion to talk about.

“Late this week we will hold a charity event do you guys want to join?” madame Abiezer asked Zevana and her mother.

“What order?” Ask Zevana's mother

“Collecting money to help orphans and orphanages”

Now the living room is divided into two between women and men, the women were on the right side of the sofa and the man was on the left side of the sofa while Zevana was between them sitting on the half-lying rocking chair as she swayed the chair.

Zevana loved this so much, the rocking chair drove her crazy! He became obsessed with the chair and continued to move back and forth, it felt very good but then did not know why he felt dizzy. But he continued to shake the chair and after a while he stopped the chair for only a few minutes and when the dizziness in his head disappeared he again shook the chair.

Now I don't know how many times he did the same thing until finally he caught the attention of his future mother-in-law.

“Son, what are you doing?” mrs Abiezer asked to stop Zevana from shaking her seat again.

Zevana looks up at Madame Abiezer “Y-ya? I didn't do anything” he said then smiled awkwardly.

What else he might do is of course he is busy with his rocking chair, maybe his future mother-in-law knows that he did not listen to their conversation maybe that's why he asked her.

“Nak, you will get dizzy if you wiggle the chair during that” said Madame Abiezer.

Zevana glanced around and sure enough now all the directions of everyone's gaze were on him “Ah sorry, because I did not pay attention to” he said.

“Nothing tan, he is like that besides dessert he is also very, very fond of rocking chairs even slide also”, said Zack opened the secret of his sister.

“If he likes something then he will become obsessed because of it even though his head has been dizzy since then he still does it, because he thinks it's fun” he explained again while laughing

The others also laughed at Zack's explanation but not with Zevana who is now staring at the horror of his biological brother, he had denied it but his father even helped justify it.

Mr. Jeffry couldn't help but laugh if he remembered his daughter's childish behavior “That's all true, because that's why he still looks like a baby in my eyes” he said.

“Pa, stop!” said Zevana cranky because his father was actually involved in his taunting.

“Nothing son, they have to get used to your attitude that or not you will make them surprised by your attitude that” explained his father

Laughter filled the living room again, Zevana who initially frowned because she was the laughing stock began to laugh with others. Their conversation is still continuing, only now they have changed the topic and now the target is Maxime.

Zevana who heard that turned her eyes to Maxime who now looked confused and misbehaved because it was called by her mother.

“Do you still feel uncomfortable with us?” ask Zevana's mother again.

Maxime smiled and shook his head “Ah no, not like it” he said.

Emily smiled warmly at him “Nak, if it is difficult to treat us as Zevana's parents then treat us as Zack's parents. Looks like you'll be much more comfortable like that” he said kindly.

Maxime could not argue that because honestly he still felt awkward because his friend's parents would soon become his in-laws, but he could not agree with that either.

“No ma, I'm fine. Sorry if impressed like that” said Maxime smiling trying to restore a happy atmosphere.

“Iya tan, usually also Max is not a quiet man maybe because it has been too long to leave the company so he is a little stressed because it” Miller said while laughing.

Actually, Miller's remark was true also because he never left the office and his job so far especially just for a vacation like this. Thinking about how much work will be waiting for him after this vacation ends and how much money has just flown in because he did not work successfully makes his mind accumulate.

“You will be more stressed when you are officially married” Marchel said.

Everyone, especially women, look at him full of question marks and curiosity “I mean after marriage you will face women coming every month every month and you will feel the real stress” explained while looking at his wife.

Married men laughed at that as well as women who understood much better how men felt in that position.

Everyone there laughed at Mathew's dreamy explanation, but the three men had already felt the same way.

Ah yeah, yeah, about what happened last afternoon Zevana decided not to care about it even he can say forget it (if not revealed again) because in addition to the bad incident today his days have been fulfilled with happiness and laughter.

That night they spent with laughter and finally separated to return to their respective rooms, now there are still a few more days before they finally return.
