Ep.46 Zevana's Past

After giving evidence and testimony and filling in the data about fifteen minutes Zack was allowed to go home and the bastard was sure to be locked up behind bars. And when he got home he walked in but found no one in the guest room. When he walked in now everyone was gathered in the family room waiting for his presence and of course wanted to ask the real thing happened more clearly.

“Nak, what really happened?” Ask her mother who was still crying “Why can such a thing happen to her?” ask again.

He let out a rough sigh and began to tell her everything that had happened from his point of view. Everyone is frustrated because they also feel guilty for leaving Zevana alone as well as Zack who feels guilty for not taking good care of Zevana.

“I always failed to take care of him, once again I made him receive treatment like this” said Zack bouncing but attracted the attention of others.

“What do you mean ‘once again’ boy? Has something happened to my daughter before?” ask her father to worry.

Zack looked at his father meaningfully, never telling anyone about this even though he never promised Zee to keep this a secret. But he was afraid what if Zee never said it because he didn't want others to know it but anyway father and mother need to know this and sooner or later everything will also be revealed, he sighed harshly and decided to just tell.

“That's right Zack, you keep talking like this is happening again and this is not the first time” said Max who came down the stairs approaching them all.

Zack turned his head towards the owner of the voice but Max walked without Zevana beside him “He was sleeping” Max said as if reading his mind and he only nodded in understanding.

Waitaminute! Even Maxime the man who was about to marry Zevana didn't know about it. She can't blame or be upset with Max just so Zevana doesn't want her future husband to know anything bad about her.

“Nak say, we also need to know about your sister” said her mother softened and sobbed due to tears that did not stop flowing.

Zack kept his mouth shut, his intention of telling this was slowly disappearing especially when he found out that Zevana didn't even tell Max about this.

“ZACK WE ARE HIS PARENTS! DO YOU HAVE TO KEEP THAT A SECRET ON US?!” snapped his father and made him flinch in shock.

“When he was 17 years old in the fall I took my college break and I brought my friend to play at home, the man is Steven D’ Alexander” said Zack makes Max more curious about the story when he heard the name Steven called.

“What is Mr Dazzel's only son?” asked Miller and was nodded by Zack.

“When we played basketball on the front court to fill free time and at that time he said he wanted to drink so he went to the kitchen but after a while he did not come, I went looking for him because I thought he didn't know where the drinking water was. But when I found him there I also saw Zevana was underneath him and he forced himself on Zevana”

“I was very angry when I saw that and the tears that continued to flow until it sobbed, at that time I beat him to a pulp even when he was hospitalized and had to use a cast on his leg”

“It took a whole month for him to come back cheerful and forget it slowly even his nightmare never appeared again. I am very happy to see it as independent as it is today but after this incident I do not know how it will be his fate” he said and sighed rough.

“It turns out that's why my daughter is becoming more and more closed” said her father.

Before that incident Zevana always told her about her father every day even a small thing and she most like to follow her father to the office or even when there are important guests of her father, she said, he will always be sitting next to his father. In addition, he also always participated in the party or it was with his father, mother or Zack he always insisted to join.

But that all changed when he was 18 years old, at that time both parents considered that the changes that occurred to their children were only due to puberty and they did not know that there was a big problem behind the change of their daughter.

Zevana did not even attend the parties that even her own classmates held because even though it was only a little, she still feared that such a thing would happen again especially when she was alone without family beside her. He rarely even went out, only went to school and came home and when he wanted something he always asked his mother or ordered a delivery.

“Why didn't you tell us earlier, son?” asked his father softly while calming his wife who continued to cry.

“She forbade me because she didn't want to worry you guys and it's so embarrassing to tell others”

After hearing Zack's words, his mother wept loudly and blamed herself for what happened to Zevana.

Zack did not dare to look at his parents, if he wanted to find the wrong person then he was the most guilty of what happened to his sister.

“No ma, pa. You're very good parents. It's all my fault, though, if only at that time I did not bring Steven home and if today I go down faster then he does not need to experience something like this” said Zack blamed himself for everything that happened.

Her mother shook her head and then clasped her son's hand “No boy, it's not your fault. Trust me even Zevana won't blame you for everything” he said.

“I know he doesn't blame me but I know this all happened because of my mistake” he said.

“It looks like I have to go back to room” Max said leaving everyone there.

No one understood how she felt when she heard the whole story but they did not protest because they knew that Max had always been.
