The Threat that Lurks

“Zu.. eat.” Luci's voice shrill as Zura and Aiden enter.

Zura took two parcels. Luci, Selen, and Ken are now sitting on the carpet below. I don't know when Heris and Helios joined there and are eating. Clearly, they're sitting down because the couch won't be enough. It's better to eat downstairs.

“Heris, Helios, who is now on guard?” ask Aiden.

“The summoned bodyguards have arrived. They're a little late indeed.” Heris replied while enjoying the food.

Patently, Zura helped Aiden sit up. arranged in such a way that the pouch filled with intravenous fluids did not make the man difficult. Zura touched Aiden's forehead softly, very hot. Somehow this man can act ordinary. Previously Aiden had only been malnourished and had low blood pressure (also due to stress and lack of sleep). Maybe because all the problems that kept coming made the man now have a high fever. Zura noticed Aiden's fever the moment before they hugged.

“Wait a minute, you can't enjoy this meal yet. I'll get you the porridge.” Said Zura, who was only greeted with a smile by Aiden.

Honestly, Aiden's head was spinning. His tongue is bad. And the man was cold too. His condition even worsened despite having taken the medicine this afternoon.

“I also brought white porridge kak.” Said Selen while reopening the parcel, looking for white porridge, then handed it to Zura.

“Thanks, Selen.” Zura.

“What Aiden fever?” ask Ken then. Despite just sitting next to Aiden, the hot temperature of the man was felt.

“Yes. She's had a fever for some time. Can you call a doctor to ask for the cure?” pinta Zura's. Ken only nodded briefly and stood up to call the doctor. The girl then turned to look at Aiden.

“You want to sleep in bed? Your condition seems bad, Aiden.” persuade Zura. Aiden just shook his head slowly.

“I want to be fed first.”

Zura. I don't know why Selen was flirting. Luci who caught it frowned.

“Are you fascinated by your own sister-in-law?” ask Luci. He doesn't hate Selen. But Luci wasn't that close to Selen. Seeing Selen blushing because of Aiden's attitude makes Luci suspicious. He was afraid that Zura would get into trouble later, or maybe get stabbed in the back.

“T-t-t-tidak kaak.” nervous Selen. Aiden who is now looking at him makes Selen more nervous and blushing.

Zura looked at his cousin's sister whose face was flushed red.

“Don't tease him, Luci. Selen is a big fan of Aiden since a long time.” Bela Zura's. He knows Selen well.

“I'm just afraid he's two-faced and stabs you, Zu. You know I love you so much. That kind of thing happens often.” Luci was still staring intently at Selen.

“T-t-no, really!! I love my sister very much! Why only me? couldn't it be you who betrayed and stabbed brother from behind?” exclaim Selen, do not accept the accusation Luci.

“What did you say?! Oi!! There's nothing I don't know about Zu!! I know more than you!” Luci shouted back.

“Already!! Aiden is sick.” Zura mediates.

They both snorted and turned their faces away.

“Selen, Luci is indeed my best friend. He will not betray. He knows almost everything about me. Well, at least since we knew each other.” Zura said, making Luci sparkle.

Zura grimaced in his heart.he did tell Luci almost everything, except for the fact that his pent-up feelings were against Aiden.

“Luci. You too! Don't just be suspicious of Selen. He's one of those high-level fanatics who takes care of Aiden's many fandoms. It's only natural that he's fascinated to look at his idol.” Zura. This time it was Selen's turn to look at Zura with sparkling eyes.

“You're really my fan?” ask Aiden with a friendly smile. Again made Selen blush and soar high.

Honey, Luci's sharp gaze made his feelings somewhat shattered. Quickly, Selen neutralized her feelings.

Zura just smiled. Selen's teenage-like behavior is adorable. It's been a long time since he last had a comfortable conversation with Selen.

“I won't hurt him. At least, I wouldn't stupidly intentionally hurt her.” Aiden said seriously.

Holy jeez!! Zura's heart was broken.

“Ouuwf.. Look, brother Zura blushed.” Selen Ledek.

“Waah.. sister-in-law shy..” said Heris who has finished eating. He was interested in teasing Zura, making the girl even more blushing.

Then they laughed. But there is a serious problem. But there is nothing wrong if you relax for a moment, enjoy the food and a warm and familiar atmosphere. Helios was also just smiling. He did not scold Heris who called Zura sister-in-law. It felt like a long time ago, ever since he felt such a lively warmth like today. Feeling again made Helios feel her heart warm, hot, tight, and empty. It was as if there was a longing and loneliness that he had been ignoring, and was now rebelling.

Sometimes, the problems that come do make us feel a sense of belonging to the people who are beside us. Helios stared at the atmosphere with glazed eyes. It feels, very stifling.

Aiden fell asleep for a moment. But he woke up. The fever hasn't come down yet. Others have fallen asleep tired, including Selen and Luci who decided to stay the night. And Helios is now on guard duty. Helios helped wipe Aiden's sweaty body with a cloth soaked in warm water. Help change clothes so that Aiden feels more comfortable. Also painstakingly keep the Aiden compress fabric warm.

“Helios..” call Aiden slim. The man is now back on the bed. Helios looked at Aiden.

“Ya, sir.” replied the man.

Aiden smiled very thinly. Almost invisible. He stared at the ceiling of the room with glaring eyes.

“How are you and Mr Awit?” ask Aiden.

“They are worried about the state of the master. But they're fine.”

Aiden was silent for a long time, but the man's eyes were still open. Makes Helios feel a little worried.

“Is there anything you need, sir?” ask Helios.

For a moment, Aiden did not answer. He was still staring at the ceiling of his room.

“Do not call me master again.” Said Aiden later.

All this time the man was silent and did not care much. But not anymore. After living a long life as a stranger, Aiden felt a sense of warmth due to Zura's presence. He was afraid of losing the girl.The warmth made him think about being together. To think that having someone we care about and being a family is amazing.

Helios was silent, with his hands slightly clenched.

It hard. It was very difficult for him to call Aiden with the name of brother, no matter how his heart whined. Helios is not Heris who can casually call Aiden by the name of brother, Zura by the name of brother-in-law, Bi Inah by the name of mother, or Pak Awit by the name of father. To Helios, the name was so precious that he felt alien.
