“Zura.. If I ask you to forgive me, and defend our marriage, are you willing?”

Aiden's eyes were black and deep, as if capturing the entire world in Zura's gaze. The man's question was spoken very eloquently and well, and in a low but very convincing voice. Facing Saffir Azura and the calmness he brought made Aiden come into that calmness.making his tangled mind a little better, and his storm-shaken heart began to stop.

“Although I have betrayed and hurt you.” said Aiden again, connecting his sentence when the woman in front of him was still silent.

Their eyes drew closer as Aiden slightly gripped his hand which now clutched Zura's waist. She was scared and nervous waiting for the girl's answer. A tickling breath slowly hit his skin. If it wasn't for the pain, if it wasn't for her feeling so despicable and inappropriate, Aiden would have already smeared Zura's lips.

Long enough in that awkward silent position made Aiden slowly weaken the grip of his hand that clutched Zura's waist. Perhaps the girl refused to answer. Or maybe, the girl needs time. Aiden understood, because his mistake was indeed too fatal to be understood.

Zura was still silent. Aiden's body moved back away from him. And the girl was still swept away in his mind. Aiden's remarks made him have his brain short-circuited, difficulty digesting the situation well.

“Zura..” call Aiden made the girl gasp, returning to her consciousness.

Aiden smile.

Zura let go of her embrace, even though their hands were still on each other's bodies. Now Zura looked at Aiden more seriously.

The happiness that came before was destroyed. Aiden looked at Zura who now lowered her face again. Holy jeez!! He didn't have time to think about it. Uncle Zura is the owner of ASEana!! It's not hard to know that.

A second earlier, Aiden had thought and hoped that he would be forgiven for Zura's kiss. But not anymore. Perhaps, this girl in his arms was just trying to calm herself down so as not to rampage like last time. Or maybe this girl is just giving hospitality one last time.

Since when did Zura know he was a traitor? How much does Zura know? Does when coming to VCB Zura already know? When Aiden abused her, did Zura know?? All the tangled thoughts of Aiden who previously improved, now it feels more tangled. He looked at Zura waiting for the girl's answer.

“Two days after the incident.” Answer Zura lirih.

“I turned it down.” said Zura again. This time, Aiden's eyes warmed up again, and the warm water fell on his face.

“Really??”

“Ya.”

“Now has not changed your mind either?”

“Yes.. I want to give a second chance to-” Zura was silent for a moment, “for us.” he whispered softly.

“So.. We don't need a divorce?”

“Hm.”

Quickly, Aiden hugged Zura. Bring the girl into his arms. Longtime. Very long in silence. Zura also accepted that, letting Aiden and trying to calm him down.

Until then, Aiden's eyes stared at something inside the pot containing artificial flowers perched beautifully at the end of the table, right beside his bed. Aiden slowly let go of his embrace. His eyes no longer shed tears, but now squealing sharply.

“What's up, Aiden?” zura asked, slightly worried, and more astonished.

Aiden did not answer. His hand swiftly grabbed the mobile phone that was also lying on the table. He seemed to press the screen of the phone, then bring it closer to the ear.

“Ken.. immediately come to my room.” Aiden said briefly. And without waiting for more answers, he disconnected the connection.

Zura of course was increasingly clueless about this change of situation.

“What's up, Aiden? Is there a problem?” ask Zura.

And yet Aiden answered, the door opened and revealed the figure of Ken who looked a little breathless. He rushed in because of panic. And behind him, Heris and Helios also appeared. Seeing that, Aiden exhaled his breath in annoyance.

“I forgive you for this time, Ken. Just for this time!” furious Aiden.

Of course Ken just stared at Aiden with a frown. He doesn't understand. Zura also looked at Aiden for not understanding. Seeing that made Aiden tick. His hand pointed towards the flower pot.

“That voice eavesdropping tool, you installed it right?!”

All eyes turned to the direction Aiden pointed.

Zura frowned. Aiden pointed at the flower pot, but what does that mean? Zura squinted and observed the pot more closely. Then his eyes caught a round and black tool.

Zura turned his head, looked at Ken, and the man was only silenced with a face that turned white from pale. Even Heris and Helios were the same. Zura turned to look at Aiden, who looked irritated and held in anger. His facial lines hardened and his gaze was so sharp it looked at Ken, Heris, and Helios. Slowly, Zura swallowed the saliva.

“A- tapper tool?!”
