Mr. Bastard's Love Trap

Dilemmas

Heris and Helios are twin brothers. They are private drivers who take turns working for Aiden. This time Helios was working for Aiden, while Heris was guarding Aiden's residence with the guards there. The car slowly drove to the hotel where they were staying. The first day of the meeting was completed and successful. But Aiden's expression seemed to be bent. Helios was a quiet man, more reserved than his twin brother Heris. Even so, even he could feel that the silent atmosphere in the car was a bit different.

Aiden sat in the back and wore sunglasses. Ken sat next to Helios. Ken who is very sensitive with his boss and best friend was glancing at Aiden. And the man stared out the window quietly and focused too much. It made Ken notice her and feel curious.

“Jeez.. Did you wear sunglasses to cover those blackened eyelids?” ask Ken.

Aiden's eyes were indeed slightly blackened. He hardly slept at all last night. Plus the rush today. Now it's even night. Aiden only snorted in annoyance, not responding to Ken's rant. Ken raised one eyebrow. He wondered what was bothering Aiden. After a long time of thought, the reliable assistant found one assumption that he thought was most likely.

“Did something happen between you and Zura? Are you frustrated the umpteenth time?” ask Ken.

“It looks like you even went through a very hot night if you see kissmark yesterday.” Ken remembers the kissmark on Aiden's neck as they set off.

Now Aiden turned his gaze away from the outside view. He looked at Ken with a stern look. He prepared to get angry, but he put it away. Aiden is frustrated because of Zura, and Ken is the one who usually helps Aiden when this kind of thing happens. So, Aiden decided to consult Ken.

“Hei! What do you think of Zura?” ask Aiden.

“Hem.. I intend to go after him if not because you're after him first.” Answer Ken casually.

“You dare?! I will send you to Africa while you still leave that intention even if it is only as big as upil.” Aiden said half-calling.

Ken laughs. Funny it was tempting Aiden related to Zura. Usually Helios preferred to be quiet and not interfere at all. But this time he was a little interested in the conversation and eventually interrupted.

“I heard from Haris. She adapts well to home. Even the lady was close enough to him and Mr. Awit. Miss also greeted Heris and the guards.” Helios.

“Really? Wow. that's great. I thought she would curl up inside the house and be afraid of meeting other people.” Ken Say.

And Zura will always be fine without Aiden.

Zura is a very amazing woman, very bright, and her heart is kind. Zura is a dignified woman, and Aiden is a male bastard. Aiden forces Zura's situation where he can only marry Aiden. But regardless of how urgent the situation was, it might be better if Zura didn't marry at all than to have to marry such a bastard. Zura will always be able to get through his problems well.

Why would Aiden think of this kind of useless thing? Is it because he's scared? What is he afraid of?

“Hey.” said Aiden, I don't know who he really called.

Ken and Helios were both silent, as if waiting for Aiden to speak.

“You know me well, don't you? I live freely, and feel fine even though I live as a bastard. I always thought that I was fascinated by Zura. I thought that was all. But now I wonder. Actually, what do I feel about that girl? I think I'm too obsessed with him. I even thought I didn't want to let go. But, what for?” aiden asked a question. Her voice is soft.

Ken turned his back, then opened his eyes. He still couldn't believe what he saw or heard. It took a while until Ken found an answer that felt right in his heart.

“Hm.. does it matter? Is there a problem? If you don't know it now, you can recognize your feelings slowly. Even if I answer it, it's not necessarily true. But I believe in one thing. You see Zura as a special woman compared to all the other women you've ever known. So, don't you just have to be yourself and follow your heart?” said Ken.

Aiden looked at Ken long ago. He thought about the word very well. Aiden was unthinkable at all. More he dilemma between defending Zura or letting go. Why didn't he just follow his heart? Aiden has lived like that all along. Is he worried about changing? Why should it change? Aiden closed his eyes. He decided to sleep.

Ken glanced at Aiden who looked asleep. Really stupid. Even Ken could see how special Zura was to Aiden. And also, didn't this scene explain everything? The fact that Aiden thought highly of Zura and the fact that he cared deeply about the girl. Even if Aiden's feelings weren't love, he must have been very appreciative of the girl. And maybe, there won't be another woman so special in Aiden's life like Zura. Aiden had met so many women, yet only for Zura he had always done everything in his power.

Isn't that enough to explain Aiden's feelings to Zura?
