The wind blew fiercely, the cold until it pierced the bones.
The royal entourage lined up neatly while it hung in the sky as if to feel the sadness that was going on.
Prince Riana guided Yuki carefully. Yuki still looked confused. He could barely think of anything. He leaned his head back, to Prince Riana's chest. His head feels dizzy.
Yuki closed her eyes for a moment trying to stay sane.
Around him, crowds of people dressed in all-white stood neatly filled the field where the event took place.
"Riana, everything's ready !" The nobleman Voldermon exclaimed from his horse. He led the troops who would hold a tribute ceremony.
"Ayo Yuki" Yuki came to a realization as Prince Riana called out her name. He opened his eyes, following the hand of Prince Riana who led his steps. He walked, still leaning his head on Prince Riana's chest. The look of compassion on him made him even more crowded.
Walk towards the vast field where His Majesty King Bardhana was already standing waiting. He immediately approached Yuki and hugged her gently. "Tell me, From now on, I will take care of you" whispered King Bardhana gently in Yuki's ear.
King Bardhana moved aside from Yuki. Yuki stands between Prince Riana and King Bardhana. The people especially the co-workers of Prime Minister Olwrendho lined up neatly towards Yuki to greet and encourage her. Elber was in the line. She said nothing and just hugged Yuki.
Prime Minister Olwrendho has passed away. This truth was announced by the kingdom. All those present came to pay their last respects to him at his funeral.
Prime Minister Olwrendho's entourage was found in the forest in appalling conditions. No one survived. They were attacked while traveling back to the Kingdom.
Earlier in the afternoon, Prince Riana was summoned because of reports of the discovery of the body of Prime Minister Olwrendho's entourage.
Prince Riana still did not know what the motive of the attack was, just in case He ordered the guards not to let Yuki go back to his room. Actually the reason Prince Riana forced Yuki to sleep with her was to look after Yuki. Prince Riana's room is protected by the power of Reverend Serfa. That room was the safest place as a refuge.
Prince Riana decided not to break the news related to Prime Minister Olwrendho to Yuki before He got a clear confirmation. So as soon as He got confirmation, He immediately brought Yuki and prepared to pass on the sad news to Yuki.
Prince Riana had told the Xasfir Nobles to investigate directly. However, until now there has been no motive for the attack. No one knew what had happened in the forest. All the people of Prime Minister Olwrendho have been killed.
To be sure this incident has nothing to do with robbery, because all the treasures carried by the group are still intact. No forced disassembly marks or lost items. Everything is still neatly arranged in its place.
Prime Minister Olwrendho's body, which had been cleaned, was laid out on a pile of wood. Yuki standing nearby was stunned.
He still can't believe what happened. Body shivers.
Questions filled his head.
Why this ? What the hell is going on ?
Yuki tried to find the answer to his question but he himself did not understand.
The funeral process takes place in wisdom. Yuki tried to hold back the tears, but she always failed. Prince Riana stood beside him in a protective manner.
As King Bardhana held the burning torch and aimed at the wood stacked under Prime Minister Olwrendho's body, Yuki gasped and reflexively ran to stop him.
The fire licked quickly. It creates a reddish spark that fills the air. Smoke rises high upwards.
Prince Riana successfully blocked Yuki firmly and held him in the chest. Yuki rebelled trying to break away.
"Don't burn my father...Don't burn him" Yuki screamed hysterically. "Yeahhhh.....Ahhhh !!!"
Darkness enveloped Yuki. Prince Riana swiftly charged Yuki's body as the girl fell unconscious.
He lifts Yuki's body and takes her quickly to leave the location of the funeral ceremony.
Finally after a long silence, Prince Sera crouched down. He grabbed the remaining ash in front of him and grasped it firmly.
"Now what are we going to do Prince ?" Reverend Naru asked calmly waiting for orders.
Prince Sera squinted his eyes looking straight ahead. He opened his fists, the Ashes in his hands flying in the blowing wind.
"Bring Yuki to Argueda" Prince Sera's orders were clear without a doubt.
Yuuki...
Yuki. The voice of a woman who was so familiar appeared in the darkness. Yuki knew that voice. It was the voice of the woman he had so long missed.
"Mama ?!" Yuki replied unsure of his hearing.
The darkness surrounding Yuki faded away. Yuki was standing on the bank of a vast river. The river water was dark red, thick and terrifying.
Across the river, the scenery was not clearly visible as it was covered in thick fog. Samar over there, Yuki saw the silhouette of someone riding a small ship heading towards him.
"Yuki's"
Yuki turned around quickly. He smiled widely as Princess Ransah came to him. Yuki felt that her mother was very beautiful today, her smile was blotted out. Happiness was on his face.
"Mama...I miss" Yuki slammed into Princess Ransah's arms spoiled.
"Yuki" Prime Minister Olwrendho appeared behind Princess Ransah. Yuki breaks away from Princess Ransah's arms and hugs Prime Minister Olwrendho. The three hugged like a happy family in general.
The warmth enveloped Yuki's heart. He was very happy to meet his parents.
The sound of the wood clashing sounded quite loud, the three people there turned away simultaneously.
On the riverbank, the small boat that Yuki had seen before had arrived. Someone wearing a hood, sat down quietly while holding a dipper. His face was invisible because of the hood he was wearing. Yuki looked at the fingers that were holding the dipper very thin like a bone without flesh.
"It's time" whispered Princess Ransah softly. He looked at Prime Minister Olwrendho, Prime Minister Olwrendho returned the gaze of Princess Ransah with an understanding look. They let go of Yuki's embrace. Walk hand in hand towards the boat that is leaning on the river bank.
Yuki followed them behind.
"No Yuki, you can't" Princess Ransah pushed Yuki backwards as Yuki was about to follow them aboard. Yuki looked at both her parents with a stern face.
"Why can't I ride it Ma ?"
"It's not yet time for you to ride Yuki" Princess Ransah replied in a soft voice. Her tone was like when she was reading a fairy tale to Yuki when Yuki was a child.
"What does Mama mean ?"
"This place is the boundary between the dead and the living. You're still alive, Yuki, you've got a long time left, a lot of things to do. You can't get on this boat right now !" Obviously Princess Ransah was firm.
"I'm alone Ma.." Bisik Yuki was sad.
