She had no interest in becoming a Princess in the land of Rashamsah let alone being a future queen if the reigning person was a person like Rafael or King Trandem. 

From the servants, Yuki finally learned the true story of the woman whose husband and baby were killed before his eyes, and then committed suicide while cursing King Trandem.

The woman was not for King Trandem but for Raphael. Rafael wanted the woman as his gift. Since Raphael had never asked for women specifically before, King Trandem had intended to give it up because He had managed to win a great battle. King Trandem brutally murdered the woman's husband and baby, leading the woman to depression and suicide.
