Season 2: The Princess of the Store Owner

Laila and Fauzi were eating at Fauzi's subscription store in the vicinity of the mosque. They were just talking about a woman named Wendy. After discussing about it, Laila was recalling her past with Fauzi. Especially the funny incident when Fauzi liked the shop owner's daughter.

Across from Fauzi's house, there is a small shop. The shop provides snacks for children. With striking shades of pink makes the store has its own charm.

Since childhood, Laila used to leave her parents in Farhan's house. Same with Haikal too, the four of them always play together in the garden owned by the Farhan family.

It was a weird semester break. Fauzi and Fauzan were in the second grade of Junior High School, while Laila and Haikal who were half a year old were in the first grade of Junior High School.

They were playing snakes and ladders and some other games. After two hours of play, the four children felt hungry and wanted to snack. At that time came the idea to buy snacks with money in each pocket.

"I'm the only one who goes to buy" said Fauzi excited.

"Good, I was lazy to move" replied Fauzan.

"I am too" Haikal continued.

"I'm the only one who accompanies Aa" said Laila softly.

"I'm alone is also okay La" replied Fauzi.

Finally Laila and Fauzi went to buy a snack. Because the food store was so close to Fauzi's house, they finally arrived.

Surprisingly during the trip Laila noticed Fauzi and felt something strange. Every time they went to the store, Fauzi was very excited. Fauzi moved his legs quickly and smiled sweetly.

Laila was a smart kid, after several times going to that store with Fauzi she immediately realized something. Fauzi liked the shop owner's daughter at just twelve years old.

The shop owner's daughter was a mature skinned. His eyes were round black and straight-haired as waist. The boy had dimples on both cheeks. What a sweet child, that was Laila's assessment of the girl.

Fauzi who was a child at that time certainly only felt the joys of children or often called the love of monkeys.

Fauzi will slow down the food selection process when the daughter of the shop owner is selling. Fauzi will buy a lot of food to have a long time.

"Who's your name, you're a subscription to our store?" ask the shop owner's daughter.

Little Fauzi immediately misbehaved when for the first time the girl asked her name. Fauzi immediately answered the girl's question and asked back.

"My name is Fauzi, what's your name?" ask Fauzi.

"My name is Najwa" replied the sweet girl.

After they finished shopping, Laila and Fauzi immediately went home. Along the way Fauzi only smiled happily with a radiant face.

"Did you like the shop owner's daughter?" ask Laila plain.

Laila saw Fauzi's cheeks flushed red when she asked like that. Without answering, Laila knew the meaning of Fauzi's smile.

It is said that the shop owner's daughter moved in with her family two years later. Fauzi is in the first grade of High School. But Fauzi was late to learn about it because he was not home. Fauzi attended a special Hafidz school that required admission to the dormitory. Now Fauzi has forgotten the shopkeeper's daughter who becomes his first love.

Fauzi's voice resuscitates Laila for their childhood daydreams. Laila hurried to finish her food and drink. Fauzi had finished first with an empty plate in front of him.

"It's A" said Laila.

"I paid for our food first" Fauzi said.

"Well A, I'm waiting outside" Laila said.
