Raihan's Struggle

Tomorrow is the day of Anisah's departure for Taiwan. Melani decides to accompany Anisah and has booked her ticket from three days ago. This is because Anisah is pregnant, Melani does not want anything to happen to Anisah and her future baby.

"Thank you Mel, you've been bothering my company" Anisah said.

"Casual Nis, I also don't want your content to be in danger" Melani replied.

"Yes, tonight you just stay here" said Anisah.

"Btw, I'm going to Dad's house for a second, you want to come?" ask Anisah.

"Gausah Sa, I'm here, I happen to have an appointment with a friend" Melani replied.

"Yes Mel, I left first yes" said Anisah.

"Be careful Sa" Melani replied.

After Anisah leaves the house, Melani's phone rings. Melani smiled looking at her phone screen. Raihan's name is on Melani's phone screen.

"Assalamualaikum Mel" Raihan said after Melani answered the phone from him.

"Wa'alaikumussalam Rai" Melani replied.

"You made my friend buy a suit?" ask Raihan.

"Yes, have you left home?" ask Melani.

"I'll get to Anisah's house soon, are you ready?" ask Raihan.

"It's Rai" Melani replied

"Good see you there Mel, Assalamualaikum" said Raihan.

"OK, Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarokatuh" Melani replied.

Five minutes passed after their conversation. The sound of Raihan's car began to approach Anisah's house. Melani immediately went out and locked the door of Anisah's house.

"Sorry it's been a long wait" Raihan said.

"Thank you for accompanying me in search of a suit" Raihan spoke formally to irritate Melani.

"Raihan's sister, it's best to speed up before I change my mind" Melani replied not to lose.

Raihan frowned while turning the direction of the car. She was very unhappy that Melani called her by the call of sister.

After about twenty minutes of travel, they finally reached the shopping center. Raihan quickly got out of his car and opened the door for Melani.

"Good sister" praised Melani as she held back her laughter.

"Enough Mel, I don't like to hear it" Raihan replied with an unhappy facial expression.

Melani laughed at Raihan's behavior. They immediately went inside without starting another debate. Raihan wants to buy a suit, while Melani wants to buy the shortage of the items she needs for her departure to Taiwan tomorrow.

"You are very kind to accompany Anisah to Taiwan" Raihan said.

"I was just trying to make amends to her" Melani replied casually.

"After all you are a good woman, I am amazed by you" Raihan said.

"Thank you" Melani replied.

"But I'll miss you when you go to Taiwan" Raihan said.

"Rai, I'm not kidding, choose your belongings so we can go home sooner" Melani replied as if she did not care about Raihan's words.

"Mel, I'm really serious when I say I like you" Raihan said, not wanting to give up.

"You better get rid of your liking for me Rai, because I'm not interested in that" Melani said.

"You lied to Mel, clearly your eyes imply otherwise" Raihan replied.

"Stop Rai, or I'll be really mad at you" Melani said more seriously in a slightly higher tone than usual.

Raihan stopped his mouth to speak further. The man chose to calm Melani down first. Raihan realized that it was all too soon for Melani. Raihan smiled and relented, but in his heart was determined to make Melani like him sincerely.
