Legs wrapped in trousers stepped out of his house. The tomboy girl had just decided to run away from home with her big suitcase. He did not want to be betrothed to the son of his Papa co-worker.
Papa Wendy is a property owner. He wants his daughter to marry his best friend's son soon. Her tomboyish daughter and more concerned with love in marriage certainly did not want the matchmaking.
Wendy is a smart woman and has a good memory. He graduated from Oxford University with cumlaude grades. His tomboyish nature caused him to always be friends with his male friends. He managed his Papa's company by force because he was the sole heir.
Wendy wanted to study religion. But the demands of his parents who want him reliable in the field of business and academics make him limited in this regard. Plus Wendy's parents lack religious understanding. But deep down he wanted to seriously pursue the science of religion.
"I don't want to marry a man I don't love" said Wendy.
Wendy immediately hailed a taxi and lived in the modest housing she had prepared. He decided not to stay in a luxury hotel or luxury apartment to save his money. Wendy wanted to prove to her Papa that she could live on her own.
It just so happened that the housing was close to the mosque where there was a handsome man who was teaching. Wendy's eyes were instantly stunned at first sight.
His heart skipped a beat when he saw the handsome young man in white. The man was wearing sturdy clothes and wearing a peci. Perfect and so cool when viewed.
"Well, she's so beautiful" said the tomboy.
"What should I learn to teach in this mosque yes" he said in his heart.
"So that every day meet the handsome ustadz" said Wendy Gregetan.
Wendy waited for the handsome ustadz to finish teaching. Not long after, the handsome man came out after his students went home first
"Assalamualaikum ustadz" Wendy told the handsome man.
"Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarokatuh" replied the young ustadz.
"Include my name Wendy" Wendy said as she extended her hand.
"My name is Fauzi" the ustadz replied, gluing his palms together as if replying to Wendy's greeting from a distance.
"Ustadz teaches naji here?" ask Wendy.
"It's true" Fauzi replied.
"Can I learn to teach ustadz?" ask Wendy.
"It's okay ustadz" replied Wendy.
"Yes you can join tomorrow" said Fauzi.
"Thank you ustadz" replied Wendy happily.
"Don't forget to bring the face" said Fauzi.
"Well sir, thank you very much" Wendy replied with a radiant face.
"Call me Fauzi" Fauzi said.
"Alright, thank you Fauzi" Wendy replied timidly.
Wendy returned to housing with a happy feeling. But she still thought about the situation of her Mama and Papa who wanted to match her.
"I won't go home until they have decided on the match" Wendy said, kicking a rock in the street.

The next day Wendy came to the mosque feeling happy. He immediately took ablution and joined the other children.
"She wants to join us?" ask the Fauzi proteges.
"Yes, is that okay?" ask Wendy.
"That's not shy about joining a kid?" ask another child.
"Why should we be ashamed if we do nothing wrong?" ask Wendy.
"Teeth just want to learn in order to be able to, Teteh easy in terms of learning, Teteh will catch up with you" continued Wendy.
"The sisters, who Tea Wendy said was right, he just wanted to learn" Fauzi said.
"Good ustadz" the children replied.
