Introductions

The first day for Delano to return to work as the head of his company since he returned to California.

Delano decided to bring Mikayla to his office for the introduction of all employees so that no strange rumors would emerge.

Mikayla has been dressed well. However, she did not want to humiliate her husband in front of her employees by dressing casually. For him, the first impression must be perfect!

Actually Mikayla was a bit uncomfortable to follow Delano to his office. It's nothing, but she feels unaccustomed and still adjusting her status as a Miss Delano Prasetya.

Actually Mikayla had already said that to Delano but Delano insisted that he must come so that everyone in his office knew that Delano was married so if at any time Mikayla visited him in the office, everyone knows him well.

Delano looked nervously at the white face of his wife. He approached Mikayla, bringing her face closer to her while holding both shoulders.

"Liet down. Most of my employees are Indonesians who make their living here after college, so you can speak Bahasa Indonesia with them. Native American employees are just a few people and they're mostly managers."

Mikayla just nodded with a forced smile. He could not hide his discomfort in front of Delano.

"alright. I will try to perform as well as I can." Mikayla said as she took a breath.

Delano smiled amusedly.

"Mrs Delano Prasetya, you don't have to worry. So just yourself. The culture here is very different from our culture. People here are very straight forward. Don't pretend, it looks weird later. Yuk, we're leaving."

Delano clasped tightly onto Mikayla's hand which felt cold to her. Mikayla just followed without speaking anymore.

Arriving at his company, Delano is greeted by a male employee who opens the door for him. Delano opened the door for Mikayla.

"Good Morning, Mr. Prasetya. Welcome back!" said the man while greeting Delano.

"Good Morning, Shelton. How are you?" delano Reply.

"Excellent, Sir. Thank you." reply the man.

"Oh yeah, meet my wife, Mikayla Prasetya"

Mikayla smiled at Shelton and they shook hands.

Delano and Mikayla walk towards the employee room that was gathering because Robert ordered according to Delano's request.

"Good morning everyone!" delano told all his employees. "How are you?"

All the employees smiled and answered "fine, good, excellent" and said "thank you".

All eyes were now on Mikayla who had been cold and wanted to pee because she was nervous to face the many pairs of eyes that were watching her from head to toe.

Delano then turned his gaze to Mikayla then clasped the girl's hand. A moment later Delano started speaking in Indonesian.

"Guys, first of all I thank you for your good cooperation during my return to Indonesia. Also thank you to Robert and the managers who have been trying so hard to handle this company as long as I'm not in place." Delano breathed for a moment.

"Oh yes, my return to Indonesia is to get married.." clapping stopped Delano's words. Both Delano and Mikayla just looked at each other and smiled at the response of the employees. Some of them shouted "congratulations" accompanied by whispers of admiration some employees towards the beauty of their boss's wife.

Delano ended his brief directive and immediately stormed his employees to shake hands. Both Delano and Mikayla served the employees with smiles of hospitality.

Delano then took Mikayla to the room by elevator, because the room was located on the 7th floor. The company has a fairly large building even though there are only 8 floors.

Mikayla spread her gaze around Delano's study. There was awe on his face seeing how the room was arranged with very elegant decorations.

Delano approaches Mikayla.

"If you need anything to say, then my secretary Miss Diana will prepare it."

Mikayla nodded.

"How does it feel to be a big boss? Can I try sitting in your big chair? mikayla said as she pointed to Delano's work chair.

Delano laughed amusedly at Mikayla's question. "Please try. It feels normal, but if it's big boss it's really not good. A lot of stress."

Mikayla smiled as she sat in Delano's chair. He then twirled the large chair that almost submerged him left and right. Moments later he stood up when he heard a knock on the door.

Lady Diana walked in with a woman in a bobette-style hair.

"Leonies. How are you?" exciting Delano.

"good. Thank you." replied Leony. "And.this must be Mikayla."

Mikayla smiled towards Leony and shook hands.

"Well, it turns out the guy's a lot prettier than Robert told you. Similar to Korean artists and models."

Delano smiled as he glanced at Mikayla whose cheeks had turned red.

"Kayla, if you want to hang out or just take a walk to shop, Leony does not mind to accompany. Leony has a cafe in a shopping mall around Beverly Hills. I guarantee you won't lose your way with him."

Mikayla smiled happily because she finally had a friend too.

"How about we go to your cafe now?" Ask Mikayla. "I don't feel at home just watching this big boss work all day."

"I also happen to want to take you to my cafe. We're walking now?" leony.

Delano smiled, "Let's use my driver. I'll have him accompany you wherever you go today." Delano then spoke on his intercom to someone to call his driver to be ready.

"Alright Mr. Big Boss, I'm going to borrow Mr.'s beautiful wife all day." Leony told Delano.

Delano chuckled with Leony's manner.

"Alright, have fun. Leony, please keep an eye on this beauty, yeah, don't get teased by those bule guys out there."

Leony and Mikayla just laughed as they walked out of Delano's room towards the parking lot where Delano's private driver had been waiting for them.

Mikayla is excited to embark on a new adventure with her new friend.
