Delano folded his hands in front of his chest. He looked at his sister's face with heavy eyes. Delon himself looked relaxed. Although in his eyes there is still a sadness, but He seems calm with all that.

"Sister, how do you know I still have feelings for Kayla?" delon's voice made Delano take a breath.

"I overheard a conversation Kayla had with her friend about you. I feel guilty..."

Delano's speech instantly cut Delon off quickly.

"Don't feel guilty, brother. Who better to accompany Kayla to be happy? I'm not an established man, brother. Even college I have not finished and my life only relies on pocket money from mama and papa. What can Kayla count on me if I marry her? We have agreed to end it all and start a new relationship as a friend and brother-in-law. So, please throw away all of your guilt."

There was sincerity that Delano caught from his sister's speech. However, his heart was still not calm.

"Sorry Delon, but as a man I want all this to be clear before the wedding is done. I followed Mikayla yesterday just to find out how the wild racing situation is. And.. I accidentally saw you two there.I mean, I can't hear your conversation but you're hugging each other so I thought that...."

Delano's words were immediately cut off again by Delon's laughter.

"Oh yeah, so brother saw me and Kayla was hugging?"

"Sister, don't get me wrong. It was a strengthening hug as well as a final hug. We talked about our feelings and agreed to start a new relationship as brothers. The point is, I sincerely let Kayla go to marry you even though...." Delon stopped his words.

"Even what?" delano asked with a curious face.

"Even though Kayla admits that she won't be able to love her sister. Don't worry, I've assured him that brother is a very good established man and will make him happy. So, please, sister, treat Kayla well and love her because I have already guaranteed that you are the right and best companion for her. Please brother. Promise me that you will love him with all your heart. Although Kayla is indeed a girl with a head but she is a woman who is soft-hearted and kind, just her hobby that is considered a lot of negative in the eyes of people who do not really know her."

Delano tried to digest the word for word that came out of Delon's mouth. Promise to love Kayla? Is it not wrong? How can love be forced? Can someone's heart change that easily? delano thought as he squeezed his jaw with a frowning forehead.

"Delon, I'm sorry. Thank you for letting Kayla marry me. Promising to love and make Kayla happy is hard to do. I'm sorry, Delon. I probably won't be able to do it! I can only marry her and provide for her life with material things but not with love." Delano threw out his breath heavily. At least he was honest with his feelings. He is not the type of man who just say a promise and can not fulfill it.

Delon looked a little disappointed to hear his brother's words. But he is very understanding of it considering that it is not easy to marry suddenly with a new person known through arranged marriage. He knew his brother's burden was heavy. If he was faced with it, he would immediately refuse to even rebel. But her brother is a 'sweet kid' to his parents who can barely resist any of their parents' orders. Plus having to marry a girl like Mikayla who is definitely not her sister type, is really not an easy thing!

"Sister, I'm sorry about the wishes of our parents that you have to live with. But I hope and pray that everything can be easy for you to live in the future."

Delon's words made Delano smile wryly. It feels like he wants to cry for his fate which in a few days will release his bachelor time with a girl who is not his idol. To her, Mikayla was just a foreign-robed girl that had to be forcibly tamed!
