Marrying a Friend

Marrying a Friend
Surprise Again?

Just five in the morning, Firhan had awakened me to jog and see the sunrise at Losari beach. The air was so cool that it made my cheeks feel cold, especially when the breeze hit my face. The sea breeze is very cool and fresh.

We have indeed been here sitting in the Gapura right facing the high sea coast and looking forward to the sunrise that will soon appear. This beach has a lot of fans and from the first. Quite a lot of fans watched the sunrise and some of the young people.

Firhan clasped my hand tightly with both hands to warm up. It feels like wearing a thick jacket alone is not enough to ward off this cold.

Since the incident three days ago, my husband has managed to comfort and make me not sad because I think about Daniel. Somehow, but the love for Daniel has been lost, even this sadness is just out of sheer pity. I don't know. But what I believe is like that.

"Are we going home?"

My arm made a faint scratch on his forehead appear. "I've been waiting for a moment like this, why go home?"

She nodded and then rubbed my hair.

Orange tinge began to appear, a sign of the beautiful moment began.

"Close your eyes!" tell Firhan who was sitting next to me earlier, then his palm was in front of his eyes when his face was next to mine and closed our eyes both. "One ... Two ... Three ... Open!" firhan exclaimed and his hand now descended which simultaneously opened his eyes.

The sun appeared in the sea and rose so beautifully. It was so beautiful that I almost gaped because I was amazed for a moment. He knows very well, things that I like very much.

"I love you." Whisper it, then grab my cheek to kiss it. The look on my face could not help but be radiant and blush in shame.

"Ih, as people see it, Fir, "my timid rebuke to the gentle and happy smiling man next to me while still holding this hand tightly.

"Belgium!" It was her whisper that made me smile in embarrassment, then hooked her arm around my arm.

If only it wasn't in public, I'd hugged this adorable, surprise-filled guy!

Yes, in this city, morals and ethics are held in high esteem. Most people who can be tolerated just hold hands. Even if they dare to hug, they will stare like they are seeing a thief so cynical.

After traveling around this beach, even visiting the mosque on the edge of Losari beach, then the Fort Rotterdam building will be rich in reserves and cultural relics of the colonization first and had crossed the Mandala Monument which almost looks like a National Monument in Jakarta, Firhan then took me to another place where only he knew.

"So, another surprise?" I asked while in the car and the man next door was driving with a sneaky smile full of victory, until for the umpteenth time make curiosity dance in the mind.

"It's true, dear lady!"

I pursed my lips, which were only in the back of the grin and the weirdness of it.

"Give me the clue?" my door that still did not look at him was as close as it was.

I silently smiled in my words.

It doesn't sound like asking, but the effect is urgent. Yes, demanding.

"Okay, no problem. You can't guess."

"Oh, huh? Then begin the Lord full of surprises and fortune-tellers!" my challeng teased her with a sweet smile and raised an eyebrow repeatedly as my body position turned towards her and my hand turned to the edge of the car window to support my head.

Firhan chuckles.

My head twisted for a moment and looked in wonder with frowning eyebrows upon hearing that last sentence, when for a moment my head turned towards the window watching the streets that were beginning to solidify.

Well, that sentence that my brain can't accept!

"What the fuck is ‘zwuur-zwuur’? It's not a clue, sir full of surprises!" sambarku corrects and protests with his vocabulary.

He tried to hold back a smile. "Loh, why? That was my clue and my choice! What's wrong?" his elves defended themselves.

"But that last silly clue of yours can't be accepted by my common sense!" I insist again.

"But my common sense can be, really!" timpal Firhan innocently insisted.

"But—"

"But I love you!" sambar is the one who almost whispered that made me managed to stay still and lose this debate while smiling down. My cheeks heated up again in embarrassment and pulled me in Firhan's embrace.

It did not take long, the car stopped and parked in front of a large hallway with a large pamphlet that read Welcome to Lae-Lae Island. We then entered while Firhan's hand was still tightly grasping this hand.

Not enough time for a minute, we have arrived at a small pier on the edge of which several medium-sized tour boats are now lined up. After walking on the wooden floor, Firhan then jumped into one of the ship's platforms that were close to the edge of the dock, then extended his hand towards me and helped into the ship that was swaying with the waves, stepping on the bridge of the ship, then carefully step two decks in front and sit in the middle, next to Firhan. My husband seemed to be enjoying his journey. However, I was very tense up there while hooking my arm around his arm, especially when the ship was traveling at normal speed and making the whirring of the waves sound while splitting the ocean. The splash of water hit my face while my long hair swayed while in the sea breeze and made this tension melt and relax. In fact, when Firhan squeezed my hand and smiled sweetly.

The journey across the ocean is not far, it only takes less than fifteen minutes right to the northwest, the island is not widely seen.

After arriving at the small pier with a tanned wooden bridge, the ship then passed away. It's very crowded. Firhan said, they are residents of this island. The buildings here are mostly small and simple style. Along the small path surrounded by houses - the curious spy looked at us all the way to where Firhan meant. After turning right and no house left, the beautiful expanse of sea sparkling with black and white sand made me feel comfortable for a moment. Some people around there were joking while swimming in the sea. At the edge of the sea, there is a lined saung made of bamboo and wood with a roof of coconut leaves. The atmosphere here instantly made me completely calm.

Strong winds to hit the hair and skin, hot but not stinging weather, the occasional whirring of the waves heard during the violent hurl of large waves on the rocks that are on the edge of the sea, which is, and the view of the waves rolling and sparkling beautifully. What an exotic view that is really so beautiful, added with a wave of coconut trees that dance the leaves when the wind blows it.

Firhan immediately carried me and brought the surface of the sea that made me laugh freely, as well as him.

"So, Mr. surprise giver, is this what your clue meant?"

He nodded steadily and smiled widely triumphantly, like he had just won a lottery.

"And that 'zwuur-zwuur?"

Firhan chuckles. "It was meant for the sound of the ship's engine and the chorus of the waves,"

I was silent trying to digest well his sentence that had just sounded, repeating the sentence continuously in my brain until it ended up frowning in wonder.

Zwuur-zwuur with the sound of ship engines and waves? Same thing?

Again, he chuckled at the look on my confused face.

"Easy! It's time to take a shower, baby!" firhan exclaimed cheerfully then poured seawater at me using his hand which made me reply while chuckling.
