Marry my Raise Brother

Marry my Raise Brother
Chapter 38

“Loh, Brother Erka is still here?” Ayleen raised a question before getting the spray.

Erka did not answer. Walk ahead to the first floor and get ready to the yard to run his car.

“Kak, instead of earlier ...”

“Do not be noisy. I'm sleepy, Leen. Waiting for you too long.” Erka had gone down the stairs, followed by Ayleen trailing behind.

“Why waiting for me, Brother. I'm fine to leave by taxi.”

“Already. Quiet, Leen. Don't talk too much. I leave now, I'll be late.

Along the way to campus, Ayleen did not dare to speak. A breakup for almost a year creates a sense of awkwardness on its own. He can't act like he used to.

“What time is it?” Erka made a sound after half the journey.

“Em ... hour one, Kak.” Ayleen glanced next to. Not daring to look at the brother blatantly.

“I try to pick you up.” Erka turned to the back seat of the rearview mirror and made a sound again.

.

“There is a stock box in the back seat. I know you won't have time for breakfast, Leen. Take it and enjoy it. Earlier, I asked the home assistant to fill it for you.” Erka remained focused on the highway, occasionally glancing at the beautiful girl without a wart with her cold demeanor.

I'm sorry, Leen. I have a reason why it's like this.

Erka looked straight ahead. His car was currently moving forward, but his heart was in a flashback and was spinning back into the past. All the memories of childhood, adolescence to the moments before the wedding are re-spinning. There were many regrets he wanted to repeat if he still had the chance.

If Erka could rewrite history, she wanted to straighten out what had gone wrong. It was her marriage to Cindy. The biggest mistake that cost her life in the past year.

“Your daughter is beautiful, Brother.” Ayleen tried to fish the talk. He struggled to plunge the awkwardness that had been creating a distance between them.

“Oh.”

Short reaction to the unexpected, Ayleen could hardly believe his sister's attitude.

“If it's a holiday, I'll visit it, Kak.”

“Not to bother, Leen.” Erka is still focused on the steering and the road.

The atmosphere began to unravel, not as stiff as before. The next conversations felt flowing, Ayleen was more courageous to throw his question.

“Leen, how are you and Ersa related?” Erka ventured further. Pretending to be a good and caring sister.

“Good.” Ayleen glanced. Erka's handsome face was still as charming as it was before marriage.

In the middle of the chat, the phone in Erka's pants pocket suddenly rang. The man pouted while slowing down his car as Cindy's name appeared in the middle of the screen flickering.

“Ya.” Erka turned to the beautiful passenger next to her.

“Honey, when to return?” Cindy's voice whispered. The tone of speech was like carrying a heavy burden.

“I don't know yet. Why?” Erka knitted her brows, seeming to think hard.

“Quick return. I'm confused as to what to answer to Mommy and Daddy. They've been asking for your whereabouts since yesterday, Honey.” Cindy's voice sounded clear. There was no frustration or disappointment from the young mother's tone.

“Ignore it. If tired they will shut up themselves.” Erka answered casually.

“I beg you, Honey. I know .. You're disappointed in me. But, it's not like this ..”

“Wait!” Erka stopped her car and pulled over on the quiet side of the road. Before long, it was seen he got out of the car and left Ayleen in confusion.

Still clutching her phone, she moved away a few meters, not wanting her voice to be heard by Ayleen.

“I don't want to talk anymore. We'll finish immediately. When your child is born, it means you have to take your foot out of my life.”

“I beg you, Honey. Don't be mad, Darling.” Cindy was still in a pleading voice.

Erka's laughter broke. It took a few seconds to adjust.

“Ehem.” The man started getting serious again. “If you've been threatening me all this time because of Ayleen, change me now.” Erka let out a repeated breath. “Sign our divorce papers, otherwise .. Your scandal will spread. Not only your company, your family will also be destroyed in an instant.” Erka threatened.

“If I don't want to?” Cindy challenged.

“Accept the consequences. Don't regret that everything has to happen and not like your dreams.”

“I don't want to part, Honey.”

“Since the beginning I did not intend to be serious.” Erka.

“Jadi ... I have to how?” Cindy said softly.

“We parted ways and your life is safe, including your daughter. I promise I won't bother you again after this.”
