CHAPTERS. 53 William's Stories

Briana heard all that William was talking about on the phone, but that didn't make her change her mind to give her husband space to ask the heart of who the woman he loved was.

Briana will be steadfast if William chooses his past over his.

After ending the phone call, William went back into the room and lay down next to Briana.

He embraced Briana's body from behind hoping his wife would face him but until he fell asleep Briana never turned her body.

Morning comes.

William woke up from his sleep and did not find Briana next to him. William's mind went nowhere even last night he was just telling the truth about his past. He was afraid that Briana would leave him, so he got out of bed to look for his wife.

Opening the bathroom door was probably there, but it wasn't there. William rushed out of the room and down the stairs with a slight run.

He was afraid not to find his wife when he woke up, but his footsteps slowly slowed down after he saw the figure of the woman he was looking for was in the kitchen.

"Honey," called William to Briana who was helping Irene prepare breakfast.

William stepped closer to Briana who only turned her head when called upon.

"Here I help." William took over the large bowl of rice that Briana was holding.

Briana herself did not prevent it and let William take the place of the job.

William also danced a chair so that Briana could sit there, then he sat next to her.

"You stay first you want to call Papah in the room" said Irene.

"Yes Mah" said Briana, while William did not recognize her. The man only focused on Briana who was still ignoring him.

William grabs Briana's hand and holds it. "Tomorrow I will swipe at Sabrina again, but I hope you will come with me" he said later.

"What am I going with you for, if you want to swipe it for yourself. I don't want to come" Briana said, releasing William's hand from hers. But William grabbed it again and grabbed it.

"Listen to me, baby. I don't want you to misunderstand me, I want you to be sure of me if the woman I love is just you. Trust me Sabrina is only my past and you are my future. So ... I beg you to come with me to visit Sabrina, that way you can understand my position" William said expectantly.

Briana did not immediately answer, she looked into her husband's eyes to make it easier for him to make a decision. There it was clear that William expected himself to come to Sabrina. In the end, he nodded his head.

The kiss did not last long as Briana immediately pushed William's body away from him.

Briana looked embarrassed to make him immediately turn his face to another direction as long as he did not face her husband. He even cursed himself who was easily seduced by William.

William pulled on Briana's body and slightly raised it to sit on her lap. Briana was about to go down but William hurriedly languished.

"I beg you, stay like this" said William made Briana undo the intention.

William placed his chin on Briana's shoulder.

"Sabrina and I have been in a relationship for a long time since we were 15. When we were adults we decided to get married and we even crossed the line of dating. We're engaged and in two months we're getting married but unfortunately, good destiny's not on our side."

"A moment after getting engaged I took Sabrina on vacation out of town and at that time we had an accident that resulted in Sabrina who was pregnant my son had a miscarriage and coma until now. I was in jail for a few years and didn't know about Sabrina. I think Sabrina left me, I'm down and I'm desperate to find her."

Briana continued to listen to what her husband told her. She did not respond to a single word, but she was glad her husband would open up to her.

At that moment I was shocked, panicked, shaking with my chest felt tight to see the woman I had always loved and I was looking for was dying. Without a second thought I left you and went to the hospital address that was sent to me. I think I still love Sabrina but when I was there I couldn't deny that I was always thinking of you. I'm sorry I left you at the time." William pecks Briana's cheek.

Briana nodded then turned her head and kissed William on the cheek. "Yes, I believe in your story. Maybe at that time you were so panicked that you didn't comply with my request to stay there. But ...." Briana did not continue her words.

"But why? just say it," pinta William.

"But what if Sabrina comes to her senses and takes the marriage promise you once made to her?" ask Briana.

William's speechless. He wanted Sabrina to wake up immediately but never thought of him when after realizing Sabrina would collect his promise.

"Why silence? You don't know the answer, do you?" Briana smiled bitterly.

"I believe you love me now, but I can't believe that Sabrina realized she wouldn't take that promise" Briana said.

William held his embrace in Briana's body. "Don't think about it, because Sabrina isn't necessarily going to be conscious" he said.

Briana sorted her forehead. "Why indeed?"

"Because the probability of Sabrina being aware is only 10%."

"the 10% still allows him to be aware, do not take it lightly. Someday I'm sure Sabrina will wake up and take your promise" Briana said.

William did not respond to Briana's words, the phone in his pocket rang.

'Tante Vania' Briana read the name on William's phone making you sharpen your ears immediately.

And again William could not refuse the phone call, so he would not answer.

The sound of sobs from a phone call made William panic afraid of something happening.
