CHAPTERS. 26 Evasive

"No, this is the right thing for me," Briana said evasively.

"Try here I see that stuff is for you." Brian tried to snatch the paper bag that Briana hid behind his body.

"Brian, you're the fuck this stuff is for me." Briana kept away the paper bag that she held so that it could not be achieved by Brian.

"I can't believe it. Let's see here." Brian tried again to seize it but Briana first ran to avoid Brian so that the paper bag he held was not captured by the man.

Briana ran to her car and opened the car door and immediately got into the car.

Briana threw a paper bag that she held in the back seat of her car and then set the breath that was still stuck after running.

"Jeez Briana, what's wrong with you why you bought Liam stuff and acted weird when Brian wanted to see it" Briana muttered to herself.

Briana looked again at Brian who was looking at his car.

"Luckily Brian did not manage to see the contents of my groceries," he murmured later.

Briana turned on the car she was riding in to drive to her parents' house.

Brian who was left behind Briana shook her head. Although he didn't see what kind of stuff Briana bought, Brian knew it was for a man. Brian saw the logo of a men's supply store on the paper bag.

"Let's just say that you've got a taste for Liam, Bri. Apologize because you have demeaned him, lest you regret it in the future," murmured Brian staring at the departure of his twin brother's car from there.

Brian remembered a woman named Sabrina who said William was the man's fiancee. Brian does not want Briana to realize his feelings when a woman named Sabrina returns to William.

Briana continued to look forward to William's return, but until two weeks passed her husband did not return. William also did not contact Briana at all making the woman worry about him.

Currently Briana is struggling with her work so as not to always remember William who did not return home.

Briana stopped her hand that was signing the file she had just checked.

"Where are you, Liam, why did you come home for two weeks and not tell you?" she asked with dewy eyes at the wedding photo she had just taken out of the drawer.

"Aren't you going back to Jakarta and working as my driver again?" ask again.

Shortly after Briana's office door was opened by Reyhan who entered the room.

"Did Liam call you?" reyhan asked after entering Briana's study.

Briana hurriedly inserted the wedding photo she held into her desk drawer so that Reyhan could not see if he was looking at the wedding photo.

"Daddy came into my room why didn't you knock on the door first?" tanya Briana grumbled.

Briana is upset at Reyhan who almost caught her looking at her wedding photo.

"It's not Daddy if you enter this room never knock on the door. You're the one who's daydreaming so surprised Daddy entered this room," said Reyhan.

"Other times do not enter carelessly anymore Dad, I also need privacy while working," said Briana.

"All right, Daddy's sorry." Reyhan occupied the sofa in the workspace.

Briana nodded her head.

"What made Daddy come to my work?" tanyanya.

"Daddy would like to ask, has Liam contacted you to tell you when he arrived at his hometown?" ask Reyhan.

"How would he contact you if you'd always humbled him and didn't consider him your husband" William said.

"Daddy, I put it down because it's the truth. Liam was just a poor driver who I was forced to be his wife with" Briana said.

"You haven't changed, Bri. Don't you feel sad or lose Liam because he was left home by her?" ask Reyhan.

"No. Why am I sad and feeling lost. I just hope he doesn't come back so my life is calm without the man by my side" Briana replied lying.

"Do you not want to follow him?" ask Reyhan.

"Why do I catch up with him, it's a waste of time" Briana said indifferently.

Reyhan shook his head inexhaustibly at his daughter's haughty and arrogant attitude.

"If you want to catch up with Liam back home, Daddy has his home address." Reyhan took out the wallet he was holding and opened it and pulled out a small piece of paper folded inside.

"This is Liam's home address in Borneo." Reyhan handed the paper to Briana and left the woman to leave the room.

Briana did not reply to Reyhan's words, but her gaze could not be separated staring at the paper Reyhan had just placed in front of her.

In the end Briana took the paper Reyhan gave her and opened it. The paper reads the full address of who William wrote the address to and gave it to Reyhan when he was just working as Briana's driver.

Meanwhile, Reyhan now gives the address to Briana, as the man's wife.

"Away from home" Briana muttered after reading the address of the house whose province was on the island of Borneo.

"I'm after Liam no huh?" ask him to himself.

Briana wanted to catch up with William and make sure the man had arrived at the courtyard, but she did not know the address of the house. Briana was also embarrassed if she followed William would definitely make the man kegeeran thought.

Not long after, Linda entered the workspace to collect the report done by Briana.

Luckily Briana had finished her work like never before who had to go home late at night and could finish it.

"Linda, have you ever been to Kalimantan?" ask Briana.

"Never, Miss, why?" ask Linda to return.

"It's okay Linda, I'm just asking" Briana said.

Linda nodded her head then cleared the file on Briana's desk.

Briana was still thinking at William's home address, she was confused about going to catch up with him or not because her heart and mind were not the same.

"Linda," call Briana.

"Yes Miss." Linda stopped her hand that was clearing the file, then looked at Briana in front of her.

"You know this address isn't?" briana's question showed Linda the address she got from her Daddy.

"Borneo? Don't know Miss, I haven't been there yet" Linda replied after seeing the address Briana showed.

"Emm, do you want to accompany me to find this address?" briana hesitated to say it.

"Bahh! Looking Miss?" linda was surprised.

"Yes, look for that address, Linda. I want to make sure he's in his hometown." Briana paused her words.

'And I miss him too, ' he continued, but in my heart.
