CHAPTERS. 5 Selection

William arrived at Reyhan's house 10 minutes before selection began. The handsome man was immediately ushered by the security guard to the place where Reyhan would carry out the selection there.

The spacious backyard of the house, Reyhan's choice to hold a selection of drivers and bodyguards for his daughter.

Counted there are 8 people with William who will follow the selection to become Briana driver.

Currently Reyhan sat alone facing the eight selection participants who sat parallel to him.

Briana herself is still busy answering phones from her clients so she has not been present to participate in selecting prospective drivers for her.

"Good day everyone. My name is Reyhan Anggara. I need a driver and a bodyguard for my daughter. Here I will select and will only take one of the most superior among all of you," said Reyhan opened the selection event that he will do.

"May we know what kind of selection we'll face, sir?" tanya William represents the other participants.

William sat in the seat at the far left, when seen by Reyhan who sat in front of the selection participants.

"Of course I can. The selection I will do consists of several stages. The first is your CV and work experience. The second is your agility while driving. You will be tested one by one by the senior driver in this house. And lastly you will be tested for the martial arts that you have by myself. You will be one by one and who is the most superior will fight with me at the end. Understood?" reyhan asked after he finished explaining the selection rules that he would do now.

"Understand me" replied all the participants there.

"Alright, then we start the selection. Please bring in front of me your CV one by one" Reyhan said.

One by one the selection participants submitted their CV to Reyhan who immediately examined it.

The seven participants there have finished giving their respective CVs, until now it was William's turn to submit his CV.

William rose from his seat with his bare hands toward Reyhan sitting in front of him.

"Sorry, sir, I didn't bring a CV. I also do not have any other identity, be it a ID card, SIM or Family Card," William said after sitting down as Reyhan sat.

Reyhan knitted his brows feeling astonished by what William had just said. Usually job applicants always carry a CV that is complete with the identity of the job applicant.

But the man in front of him did not bring anything even his identity did not have.

Reyhan looked from head to toe at the man in front of him. William was very, very simple, even the shoes worn by the man were hollow to the out of his big toe.

William is very different to the others, Reyhan thought.

"Are you really applying for a job?" tanyanya.

"Of course, sir," replied William.

"Then why don't you bring your CV or your identity?" ask Reyhan.

"That's because I don't have it, sir," replied William.

The man then told the story of himself a nomad from Kalimantan who suffered from poverty upon arrival in the city.

"Do you know, when applying for a job the most important thing you should have is your CV and identity?" ask Reyhan.

"Yes, I know sir. It's just that I don't have any of that" William replied.

"Well on what basis can I accept you to work as a private driver in this house, if you don't have the most important conditions to apply for a job?" ask Reyhan.

"I have all the driver criteria you're looking for. I can drive well and I can also defend myself" replied William straightened up.

Reyhan is quite amazed at the character of such a man, always confident and optimistic about what will happen later.

"Well, I'll rule out your CV and identity. Now introduce yourself so that I know your data" Reyhan said.

"Good Sir. My name is Liam, I'm 30 years old, I've only been in Jakarta for two days, and now I live in a Darwin boarding house." William introduced himself to Reyhan.

"Darwin kost is one of my properties, and those who live there must register themselves according to procedure. How can you stay there without your identity, and that's against the procedure?" ask Reyhan.

"It was because I begged the receptionist to let me stay there, sir," William said.

Reyhan nodded his head understanding.

While William was now watching the middle-aged man before him.

'It turns out that Darwin is the family of Reyhan Anggara, ' his inner self who just knew who the owner of the name Darwin.

Reyhan invited William to sit back in his chair. He decided to pass William from the first selection what if the man was superior to the others selected second and third.

The first selection is over. Now all prospective Briana drivers will do a second selection of driving a car with good and smart.

Senior driver of the family Reyhan assigned to select one by one prospective driver there.

In this second selection all prospective drivers passed the selection only William became the most superior among the others.

William has driven almost all types of cars be it ordinary cars, sports, trucks, taxis, buses or angkot.

The transportation business owned by William made the man often jump directly into the field to occasionally become a driver of one of his businesses.

Reyhan who saw William's expertise was of course more amazed at the man. Reyhan also did not hesitate to clap, even praising William who just finished being tested by his senior driver.

"Wahh, you're really great" Reyhan praised William who was walking towards him.

William simply smiled in response to the praise Reyhan had just thrown at him.

"Have you ever been a driver?" ask Reyhan.

"I used to be a bus driver at the WT company, sir," replied William lying when he was the owner.

"WT? WT is Will Transport, the largest transportation company in Indonesia. Transportation from the company has also spread to almost all cities in Indonesia" said Reyhan.

"Mister, sir" said William.

"I admit you are the most superior in this second selection. But there is still a third selection that determines whether you are accepted or not, because you do not have a CV and also an identity" said Reyhan.

"Yes, sir," William agreed.

The second selection ended and now Reyhan will start his third selection of martial arts.

Reyhan divided the eight participants into two teams. Each team consists of 4 people.4 people will be against 4 people on the other team, then the winner will fight the other winner until one final winner.

It was the final winner who would fight Reyhan at the end of the selection to determine whether the person qualified or not to be the personal driver for Briana.
