Married Because of Ijbar

Married Because of Ijbar
Chapter 8. Confidentiality

“I want to use my Ijbar rights as mujbir guardian before I die. Because this is all I can do to protect my ten-year-old daughter.”

“This is impossible, Pa. Maula is my sister. How can I marry her?”

“You have no blood relation, Ru. Your position will not be strong enough to protect Maula, other than being her husband.

Papa wants you to always be by his side. Don't leave him alone after papa dies later.”

“I-iya, but ... Maula is still small, we can think of another way first.”

“True Mr. Zul, this is a bit in touch with the law in our country. At least, we have to wait for the age of Maula to nineteen years first, just married her.” However, Suryadi's lawyer is a law enforcement officer, he suggested that this plan be well thought out.

“I would love to be a guardian in my daughter's wedding, while I'm not sure I can wait until she's an adult.”

There was a long enough debate. Including Mr. Kyai, he did not really approve of Mr. Zul's plan because even though it was allowed in the Islamic fiqh, he did not want to be the one to blame later on. However, with various considerations finally forced marriage it happens because of one condition and also some conditions that must be met.

“Alright .. if indeed this marriage must occur, do everything in accordance with the Islamic law that is believed,” stressed Mr. Kyai. He finally granted Mr. Zul's wish.

“After your age, you can legally formalize your marriage, the lawyer will help you. So, papa asked you not to pay him before he's old enough. Sorry if papa's request weighs too much on you, Ru.”

“But the thing is, what if after an adult Maula, she likes the man of her own choice, Pa?”

Mr. Zul sighed while thinking. “Actually, papa hopes only you will be the soul mate Maula. Do not let there be a farewell, but .. it is all up to you as long as you, especially if Maula can distinguish which is good and not for herself.”

Ijab qobul was pronounced with a loud sound in a hallr—house Mr. Omar— in Morocco. Led by Mr. Kyai and witnessed by three witnesses as Mr. Zul wishes.

She shed her tears considering the marriage to be done in this way. “Starting this second, papa leave papa's responsibility for Maula to you. Forgive me if when you run the household later, papa is no longer in this world.”

“Pa, please don't talk like that.” Khayru hugged Mr. Zul. “Staying prejudiced well on Allah, Pa.”

“At least, papa is calmer now.”

He can breathe a sigh of relief, more calm though always feel the death is getting closer to love him. He prepared everything like he was going to die tomorrow. He also asked these three important people to guide his children later after he died. In addition, he asked Mr. Omar to return to Jakarta with Khayru. However, he refused. He felt fine despite having to live alone in Morocco.

“It's okay, I stay here. I am sure, my son will not forget his father even though we are far apart.”

All business is done. Mr. Zul can go home with relief. The worry over his daughter was gone from his mind.

“Pa, why don't we go home together next week, after Iru's business here is done.”

“Kasian Maula if too long left. After all, Mr. Kyai, doctors and lawyers have a lot of important business there. It'sit's okay. Just finish your business first, after that papa wait in Jakarta.”

They said goodbye and parted ways at the airport, to meet again in the coming days. The plane took off into the air and Khayru returned home. He prepared a lot because after this he would leave his biological father in Morocco. Even so, there will still be Mr. Zul's confidants who keep guarding there.

Arriving in Jakarta, Mr. Zul's health is getting worse. However, his face was very peaceful. He smiled more in his last days. He spent more time with Maula at home.

“Nak, have you prayed?” ask when Maula came to see him. His voice was so loud and weak.

“Already, Pa.”

“Maula also doain mama earlier. Maula kangen very same mama.”

“Besides mommy and dad, who are the people you miss so much?”

“Abang,” answer slowly. “But it was.”

“Why not now?”

“Abang says, Maula don't wait for him. So, why miss it.”

“But he misses you, soon your brother will come. Wait.”

“No way, Pa. Because brother has a new family so forget the same we.”

“He's a real man. Never broke his promise. If she comes home later, respect her, love her and obey her like you did to me. Please remember papa's message.”

Maula did not understand her father's words. However, he did not stop talking to her. He did not want his father to sleep too long as happened to his mother who did not wake up.

Suddenly, Mr. Zul hallucinated. It was like seeing people from the past coming from different directions. His eyes were empty. His consciousness is like being tossed. He's completely helpless.

When Mr. Kiai came, there was only one-way communication. Mr. Zul's mouth was locked even though his eyes were widening. However, Mr. Kiai did not give up on whispering tawhid sentences in his ear. Until the lips are very stiff it moves slowly following the sound caught by hearing. And.release the soul from the body.

If only man could see how terrible the saccharat of death is. Unfortunately, a corpse could not tell his death to the inhabitants of the world.

The dark clouds led Mr. Zul to his final resting place. The ten-year-old girl's cry broke considering that she now lives a kara.

Morocco, three o'clock in the morning.

The sound of an incoming call on Khayru's phone woke her from sleep. He was aghast when he heard Aldi's voice behind the phone. The voice was almost submerged in the daydream that almost brought Khayru to the subconscious.

“Could not.” He dropped the phone because his hand suddenly went limp. “Don't now, Pa. Iru has not been able to repay all Papa.”'s kindness

Without thinking long, he immediately advanced his departure plan to Indonesia which had been arranged since a few days ago. His arrival becomes the beginning of a new life with a little girl named Maula.
