Married Because of Ijbar

Married Because of Ijbar
Chapter 22. Rules that are broken

“What is this?! Why is there a drink like this in our hotel?”

All the employees present in the meeting room looked down unable to answer.

“Why is everything silent? You all have mouths, right? Why doesn't anyone answer anyone?”

The atmosphere became very quiet and gripping until the door was opened by someone. He came in a hurry, after walking half a run and arrived at the meeting room. However, he did not know what was going on there.

“Sorry ... I was late,” he said as he stared at everyone present. On the table he saw several bottles of alcohol in them. He tried to catch his breath while composing the words as the gaze from his superior implied that he had to explain something.

“Before, I apologize for coming late. I need to explain that my mother is sick, so I had to take care of her before I left for work. I promise this will not be repeated. I will be more professional when working-”

“Explain to me, why are these drinks in our hotel? What are the less obvious rules I have made so far?” Khayru cut Katia-sang's words as the assistant manager explained why she was late.

“Euu ... that ...” Katia rearranged her sentence after taking a deep breath.

“Begini, Sir ... So, that liquor we only take it out once in a while. It was limited only to provide for foreign guests who really need it. I dare guarantee that we do not sell it to locals.”

“Whatever the reason, I don't want to see that stuff in this hotel!”

“But, Mr. .. the impact affects the income in our hotel foreign tourists often cancel check in just because of the beverage's unfavorable. You can check in the accounting department, you can see we have a very significant decline a few months ago, and can only go back up after we work around this way, Mr.”

Hearing that there was a slight commotion from the direction of the meeting room, Maula who was looking for Khayru's whereabouts, immediately entered the room without speaking or asking. He was just sitting on an empty chair right next to Khayru that was indeed reserved for him.

“I need to reiterate once again that our hotel must adhere to religious norms and values of local wisdom that characterize ethics and cultural values in the local community. This is what Papa I have planted since he founded this hotel.” Khayru stared one by one the employees present there as she got up from her seat.

“Please understand. We do not peg the value of income only from this thing,” he said while pointing a drink bottle in front of him. “One more thing! Make sure the couple of guests staying at this hotel, they are a legitimate couple unless they book a separate room. Check their identity before checking in. Understood!?”

“Ba-good. I understand.”

“Understanding, Sir.” They answered before Khayru left the meeting room.

Khayru glanced towards Maula. Coded him out of the room soon. Maula followed him from behind half-run.

“Bang ...” Maula tried to grab Khayru's hand and held her.

“Hmm.”

“Where are we going now?” Maula hoped Khayru would take her for another walk before they returned home.

“Return to room only, Abang's head is dizzy.”

Maula just sighed. There was no way he would protest under these circumstances.

“You've cleaned up our stuff?” khayru asked as she sat herself on the sofa at the tail of Maula who was sitting next to her while nodding.

“We rest before going home,” he said while massaging his own forehead.

“Abang dizzy? Sorry, Bang, I can't mijit.”

Khayru glanced at it with her tail. “Abang tofu. You are usually just angry, jockeying, throwing goods into the face of the people-” Before seeing the face of Maula who was really angry with his words, he said, Khayru immediately put her head on Maula's lap while covering her face.

“Ish ...” Maula lowered back her hand that was ready to hit. “Abang forgot? Just a few minutes ago, Brother was also furious. Rambles people & they don't dwell. At home too Brother often angry with me,” him while grumbling.

“Abang is angry because it should be angry. If they don't ignore the rules, there's no way you can upset them.”

“In my opinion, they are not wrong because they only sell the drink to foreign tourists who may in their eyes alcohol is not illegal. The second, why do you prohibit guests without legitimate relationships to sleep in the same room, while we only sleep one room does not happen anything.”

Khayru covered the mouth of Maula with her palm. “Enough! Don't equate us with them.”

Maula removed Khayru's palm from her mouth. “Loh, can't do that, dong. Do not challenge us hotel owners then we are free. While for them imposed very strict regulations. How about, anyway?”

“Not that. Brother can not tolerate liquor because in addition to haram, we will have a lot of trouble dealing with people who are drunk after drinking the liquor. You know, what can they do drunk?”

Maula thought for a while while remembering scenes of drunk people in Korean films. “Maybe they will vomit because of dizziness when drunk,” he replied.

“Not that mean Brother. Those who are intoxicated will lose their senses so unknowingly do many bad things beyond their control.”

“Example?”

“Hitting people, killing people, making a scene, committing rape, adultery and much more they can do. Because that's what his name 'drunk' called 'bananas' from other big sins.”

Khayru sat back on the couch. “This brother's sin is enough, Dek. Time must participate in the sins of others also by facilitating them to get drunk?”

“Abang did not want to take their sins but Brother always said, Brother will bear my sins. Weird!”

“Haiiiss ...” Khayru scratched her head while turning her face away. Is he too smart or am I stupid?

“That's .. later you will know the answer. Why should you take away your sins? about why we can sleep one room? About why you can see your aura? About why you are fully responsible for you. You will soon know the answer, which is definitely the reason is not because we are hotel owners. Not!”

“Tell me now. What's hard?” Curiosity was on his face. While Khayru remained indifferent while staring at her watch.

“There is still a few hours left before leaving for the Airport. Can you sleep on your lap again?” he said while putting his head back on Maula's thigh who had been staring in wonder.

“What does Brother really want to say to me? Why should it be later? Now what's the difference? Ish ...”
