Married Because of Ijbar
Chapter 3. Little Khayru

Many years ago an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 on the Richter scale shook the city of Jakarta, on Wednesday, September 2 at 14:55 WIB.

BREAKING NEWS-Tectonic earthquakes that occur due to the collision of the Indo-Australian plate against the Eurasian plate. Lindu triggers damage around the epicenter.

One of the worst affected areas was the city of Bekasi, where an earthquake-triggered landslide killed hundreds of people.

The tall buildings in Jakarta are very close to the center of Hindu, swaying great because of it. Thousands of people in the capital are running out of tall buildings as well as shopping malls.

It was like being in a boat in the middle of turbulent water. Building swaying. The doors were open and closed, books were falling off the shelves.

The quake left 180 people dead, 215 others missing, and 1,250 injured.

After the disaster, many people came to the epicenter area. Look out for pity as you watch the rubble from the buildings around the epicenter. The houses of the residents and their residents seemed to disappear somewhere. Everything becomes flat with the ground.

The SAR team and volunteers were seen busy with the search for victims.

A couple accidentally came from Jakarta. Their hearts were tapped when they heard the news of a disaster that was quite devastating, especially in the center of Bekasi.

“Pa, there is a little child crying there.” The wife ran towards the child who escaped the search for the officer team. An eight-year-old boy was crying in confusion looking for the whereabouts of his parents. His clothes were dirty and dirty. On his body were many wounds.

“Son, are your parents missing?” The husband tried to hold the boy and tried to calm him down.

The little boy just cried not to stop calling his parents.

“Please him, Pa. Poor.”

“Iya, Mother. We'll take him to the hospital first. After that we help find his parents.”

The couple did not stop monitoring the growing number of victims. However, they were confused because the child who was found had not been able to provide clear information about his missing parents.

“Pa, while we're looking for his parents, we'd better take the boy home. Mom wants to take care of him at home. After all, if they were still alive, would have come looking for the whereabouts of this child.”

They are a couple who so long for the presence of a child, no wonder if they love the child victims of the disaster like their own child even more.

A child who has this mixed blood is seen from his very dominant face. He has not been able to say many things because maybe the trauma he experienced was quite great. He only kept silent occasionally crying out to his parents.

The couple never gave up on giving him spirit until the child without identity was back to normal life.

“Nak, can you call me mama?”

The boy stared long enough at the woman's eyes before him then nodded his head.

“Handsome boy, mommy wants to ask what is your name?”

“Khayru. Dad and mom always call me ‘Yru/Iru’,” he finally spoke with his cold eyes and turned red. The couple immediately hugged while giving a soft pat on the shoulders that were still so small.

Khayru grew up to be the only favorite child in the family of Mr. Zulfikar Ariffin and his wife—Maulida. His polite, obedient, kind and firm temperament made him a family pride.

Time has buried the hope of being able to reunite with his biological parents. Most likely they have been lost and killed in the disaster. However, he gained more affection from the new parents.

When Khayru was fifteen years old, her adoptive mother—Maulida showed signs of pregnancy that had never been expected before, even though she had entered the head of four. Age prone enough to undergo pregnancy.

Mr. Zul called the family doctor related to complaints experienced by his wife who suddenly always felt dizziness, nausea and also stomach acid that later often recur.

“Pa, did you hear wrong? Mama thinks this is just a cold plus the stomach acid relapses again. How, doctor says mom's pregnant?”

“Hard you wrong? Papa heard it himself, too. Mom is not happy, is she? If papa, the seneng really,” he said with a smile.

“It's not bad, Pa. Just afraid if this turns out to be just a misdiagnosis.”

“Nothing is impossible, is it, Ma? We have been praying and working as much as possible all this time. Maybe God hears our prayers, Ma.”

“Doctor asks us to come to the hospital tomorrow to check it further. If it turns out that mama is pregnant, it means that God gives mama the confidence to conceive a child, even though mama has resigned does not want to expect much else the age of mama is not young anymore now.”

“Include, Ru!” exclaim Mr. Zul. He knew very well his son would not enter without welcome. Khayru ran to hug her mother.

“Congratulations, Ma. Finally, Iru has a sister too.” Khayru rubbed the stomach of her mother who was sitting leaning on the bed.

“You're seneng, Ru?” ask the father while sitting on the sofa.

“That's so good, Pa.”

“But strong mama is not, yes, pregnant at this age, Ru? Mama deg-degan, loh.”

“With God's permission, Mama must be strong. Sure, Ma.” Khayru encouraged her mother. “Mama can ask for any help with Iru, Ma.”

“No, Ma. Mama must be sure said Iru,” timpal the husband also encouraged.

“Still, yes, dear. Mama is happy to have you. Believe me, after your sister is born later, your love is equally papa for you will not be reduced in the least.” The mother stroked the child's hair gently. Maulida is not pessimistic anymore because she gets a lot of support until the difficult times of pregnancy can be passed easily.

Nine months later, in the middle of the night blind. At a time when everyone should be fast asleep, another case in the residence of Mr. Zul. All are panicking because it looks like Madam Maulida will soon give birth, according to Mbak Tini and Bik Sulis—two of the many ARTs in this house who already have experience giving birth to their children.

“Ru! Papa ask for help, call our neighbor-doctor Luthfie. Tell me to come home right now.” Facing a wife who is about to give birth, for Mr. Zul is a very stressful first experience. And finally Mrs Maulida was taken to the hospital owned by Mr. Ammar—his father doctor Luthfie.

At 03:17 am a very beautiful baby girl was born into the world through Cesarean delivery, given the condition of the mother who does not allow for a normal birth.

“Masyaallah, cry very fast, anyway, dek.”

“He just launched, Ru. His battre is still full power, dong,” timpal his father.

“Ahaha ... This is not full power anymore but double full power name, Pa.  Ih, but he's really funny, Ma. Keep smiling. Beautiful.”

“Yeah ... Mama can rival dong now. In the past, it was only mama you said was the most beautiful at home.”

“Don't be sad dong. Queen Mother same inces, equally beautiful in the heart papa.”

“In Iru's heart is also the same, Ma,” timpalnya while giving a warm hug.

“Ya already, let's give you a good first name for his sister.”

Khayru gave a similar name to her mother ‘Maula Qiana Ariffin’

“Loh, really similar to your mother's name, Ru.”

“Mama kan Maulida if Ade Maula. Let it be pretty and nice like Mama, So the name is also a bit like kit.”

“You can do it, Ru. But ... the name you choose is good too. Yes, no, Pa?” Madam Maulida glanced at her husband. “Maula ... Your name is Maula?” He called the baby by his new name while holding his tiny body.

“Yes, Papa agrees. Maula Qiana Ariffin's. Her name is beautiful.”

There was a knock on the door with greetings from outside the room. The young doctor came to check on Mrs Maulida. Doctor Luthfie who recently became the doctor of the family trust Mr. Zul because they happened to be neighbors. With a friendly smile came to say hello.

“Congratulations, yes, Mom. Her beautiful daughter was born safely. May be a godly princess, so proud family.”

“Aamiin, doctor. Thank you very much. I'd like to apologize too for last night interrupting your break. I feel bad because this baby asked to be born sooner than the scheduled time.”

“It has become our job, its important Healthy mother and baby safe, Bu.”
