CHAPTER 104

The man immediately stiffened, he quickly turned to the middle-aged man beside him whom he had just picked up. Seeing Rey's expression, the man turned to want to know the people who were sitting where they should be. The man froze.

Lia was wide-eyed, and Edi beside her was already staring intently with a hardened jawline. Edi soon got up and dropped his fist on the man beside Rey until he fell on the floor.

Rey swerved and held Edi's body to find his father-in-law looked like he was going to hit again. Not only Rey, Lia was there to hold Edi's body. Luna and Yana fell silent in surprise and fear. The people there only noticed the commotion they made.

Edi rebelled.

“Before I say, you want to bear him haa? Ha!!??”

Shouted Edi right before the face of Lia who was holding the right side of his body.

Lia reminded slowly and anxiously.

Lia shook her head in panic. He also looked at his two confused daughters.

The man had already risen while grimacing touching his blue cheeks.

Seeing that, Edi's emotions got even more ignited. Because Rey and Lia are already off guard, Edi also managed to come forward and beat him back.

Lia and Rey try to attract an increasingly crazed Edi. Luna and Yana finally come down and help.

Edi yelled again jerking his arm which he realized was touched by Luna. Making Luna flinch.

He said sharply to Luna then passed away.

Luna was fixated with a slashed heart. The new happiness felt not up to 24 hours has now disappeared again in an instant. Butwhy? What was?

Lia stuck her hand to stop Rey's sentence.

Lia asked Arief. The one asked just did not answer.

Lia looked at Rey.

“Yaudah go home now, let's go home”

Lia urged and encouraged the two children and her daughter-in-law.

Arief smiled and answered the greeting.

Lia glanced briefly at Arief before he finally left as well.

Yana asked as they were already in the car with Yana at the front, while Luna and Mother were at the back.

Lia did not reply, she just let out a rough sigh and turned her head towards the window. Showing he doesn't want to talk and talk about anything.

Till. They can see that Edi's car is parked there, indicating that Edi has returned home, Lia was immediately moved to push the car door even before Rey's car engine died. Stifled for a moment, he turned to look at Luna.

“For a while you don't go home first”

Said Lia directly going and entering the house. Luna's heart slipped on hearing that but she did not respond to anything Lia said.

“My attention to the ordinary lake aja mas, later let me find a hotel or inn”

Luna said when Rey had run her car back.

“No, it's late. And as Mother said earlier, you will stay with us”

Rey said firmly.

“Iya kak, Yana also does not want kak Luna to stay in another”

Sahut Yana confirmed Rey's words and coaxed Luna.

Luna did not reply anymore, she just looked at the car window with a blank look.

Rey felt guilty many times over with this incident. If only he hadn't found out about Om Arief. If only he did not contact Arief to make him come to Jakarta. Maybe Luna and Yana are still having a warm chat at their little family dinner that they haven't done in a long time.

They finally continued their journey in silence. Luna who dissolves in her sadness. Yana with her confusion. And Rey with her guilt.
