Lunara's Heart

Lunara's Heart
CHAPTER 24

“I love you”

And that became Arief's last sentence before leaving. At once the last sentence he said until finally they were right – parted with Nia, the wife who accompanied him for approximately 18 years.

Nia sat on the floor hugging her knees as Arief closed the door to their room from the outside.

Arief not right – right directly out of homeh. There was one more person he had to meet before he left. He went into one of the rooms in the house first. Where else if not to Juan's room

Tok Tok Tok!

The sound of knocking on the door is weak and slow, but it can be heard enough because the atmosphere is slow, but it can be heard enough because the atmosphere of the house at once in the early hours of the day is very quiet. There was hardly any sound.

Chequelek

Juan immediately turned to the door of his room that was opened from the outside. Juan thinks it's Nia, his mom. But it wasn't.

“Pa.” His voice slowly realized that Arief was the one who entered his room.

Arief looked forward slowly approaching while smiling bitterly. He sat at the end of his son's bed. Seeing that, Juan also sat down with a little distance.

Although he was only 15 years old, but Juan had grown to the height of his Papa, they sat in the same direction as well as his dashing style.

“You are already big yes Juan. It feels like time is running so fast” said Arief who seemed to have just realized that his son was approaching adulthood.

Juan could only be quiet. Don't know what to answer.

“Did Papa pay less attention to you all this time? Is Papa too busy with Papa's – affairs?” Ask Arief. Either the question was directed at Juan, or it was aimed at himself,

Juan did reply, but switched topics outside the discussion of Arief.

“What's the matter Pa? What's the problem between Papa and Mama?” Juan asked that. Arief smiled and turned his gaze down.

“Papa do not know what to say, must explain how or where to start. Papa's afraid. But maybe it would be better if your own mother told it. All of which is pure Papa's fault. Papa has hurt your Mama, and may hurt you too. One thing you should know. Papa loves you very much and also your Mama until whenever” Arief explained. Then Arief's eyes were on a suitcase that had been prepared by Nia, standing not far from the distance Juan sat. Arief then got up, took the suitcase, opened it and like earlier, he benari clothes – Juan clothes back into the closet. Juan who was astonished, watching the motion – Papa gerik it, he began to approach

“Pa” Juan holds Papa's hand. Arief looked at his son.

“This means what sigh Pa. Why doesn't any of you Mama or Papa want to explain to Juan. Whyyy?? What is??? What has Papa lakainin until everything is so gini? Last morning I saw Papa the same Mama is still good – well. Pa please Pa, explain what's up. Please” Juan started pleading in frustration.

After finishing Arief sculpted briefly in his place in a standing state. They mute each other in Juan's quiet room.

“Juan.” Call Arief who makes Juan look up to look at the Papa.

“If one day you already know what problems happened between Papa and Mama. Papa only memoho one thing from kamu” Arief stopped, as if asking for the answer of the child first. Juan seemed to understand, he then replied.

“What's Pa?” Sahut's short.

“Please do not hate Papa” Arief said with a vibrating voice, his eyes also looked glazed – glass.

Juan just looked back at the Papa with eyes that come glazed – glass as well, but his tongue was a little too funny to talk. He didn't want to speculate himself, but he was afraid that what he thought was right about his father.

“What should this Pa?” Juan finally made his voice

“What is Papa's fault until Papa and Mama are far apart like this, until Papa has to go? Is there no other way? Honestly Juan did not want” continued Juan with the last voice that was getting slower and his head bowed lethargic.

“Im sorry Papa son. Forgive Papa” Arief crying, as if out of words, an apology that his taste can only be said from the lips of Arief at that time.

“If Papa is indeed affectionate with Juan and Mama. Don't give up like this Pa. Please fight again to get forgiveness from Mama, Juan will apologize Papa even though Juan does not know what the problem is. But please don't do this. Juan does not want Mama and Papa split” Juan increasingly begging. There Arief still looks crying.

“Maafin Papa” Arief still just said the same thing, frustrating Juan to hear it.

Furthermore, Arief had already walked towards the door.

“Take care of yourself and your mom too. Papa pamit, Assalamu’alaikum” That was Arief's last sentence before exiting Juan's room.

Juan was back down, there he was crying but still with a question mark on his mind. The mini mala event was really unexpected and once arrived – arrived. Juan did not get any answers or explanations. Neither from Mom nor her Dad. The two were just busy exchanging roles to leave this house.

Wa’alaikumsalam…

About 10 minutes later Juan answered Arief's greeting, just before his father left his room.

Nah! Not just his room. Juan meant just before his father left the house.
