Loving You What It Is

Loving You What It Is
Chapter 41's

Abigail was astonished because her father and mother were looking at her. Abi had just returned from jongging, but she had already gotten the gazes from both her parents. I don't know why his father and mother are like that but he's a bitch, let alone he didn't do anything wrong.

Both her parents were like that because they wanted to know what really happened to their daughter and Sarah. They were really curious and they also wanted to know how Abigail was related to Justin. Has their relationship made any progress?

Abi looked at her parents in surprise as she sat down with them after picking up a bowl of vegetable salad that her mother had made. Now that salad was her favorite meal, she had even forgotten how junk food tasted and for sure she was unwilling to touch it anymore.

"Why do you see me like that?" ask Abi wonder.

"We just want to know" replied the father.

"What?" Abi ate his salad casually, while his parents looked at each other and nodded as a gesture if the father would ask.

"We're just wondering, what happened between you and Sarah?" ask father.

Abi looked at his father for a moment then he replied, "Nothing!"

"Correct?" ask her father and mother not to believe.

"Yeah, I just don't want to be friends with him anymore."

"Why? Did something happen to you?" ask the mother.

Abi was silent, in fact he was reluctant to discuss it anymore especially he had to remember the humiliation that Harold had given for him at that time.

"Abi, you and Sarah have been best friends for a long time. There is no way that nothing will happen between you. You avoided him for so long, you didn't want to meet him either. You've never been like this before so tell us, what has happened between the two of you?" ask the mother again because she wants to know why Abigail always avoids Sarah.

"Girl, is it because Justin you two got into a fight?" ask the father anyway.

"No Dad, this has nothing to do with Justin."

"Then?" his father and mother asked in unison.

Abi sighed, he still did not reply as he was busy finishing his vegetable salad. Out of nowhere he had to start, he himself did not know.

"Abigail, come on tell us, his father said.

"He betrayed me, Dad," Abi replied.

"What do you mean?" his mother and father were getting curious.

"Mom, that day when I went to Sarah's house to see how she was doing?" Abi stopped his words for a moment to sigh.

"What's going on? Is he scolding you?" ask father.

"No, Dad. That day Sarah called me here."

"For what?" sela the father.

"For me to see his relationship with Harold."

"What?" his mother and father were surprised. Is their daughter not kidding?

"I don't know that day, I'll see the rottenness of both of them. Harold insulted me so vilely, he was so disgusted with me and Sarah on purpose that I heard the humiliation Harold gave me. I don't know what Sarah's purpose was but I'm very disappointed in her. That's why I don't want to see him again, nor do I want to be friends with him. I thought Sarah was my best friend, but she kind of stabbed me in the back and had a relationship with Harold."

"Damn it!" swear Abi's father and not long after, BRRAAAKKKK!!! The table was hit hard due to emotions.

Abigail was surprised, as was her mother even the salad bowl Abi used upside down on the table.

"Aw ... Auwf ... Sick, sick!" the father complained while raising both of his arms because he was too hard hitting the table.

"Whispering, it's because I'm too emotional!"

Abi shook his head, and so did his mother. Fortunately, the table did not turn over as a result of being hit by the father.

"So that's why you don't want to see Sarah again?" ask mother.

"Yes, Mommy. Why did I meet him again? I don't think of him as my best friend anymore."

"You're right, I didn't expect Sarah to do that. I guess what had happened, I really didn't expect him to be in a relationship with Harold."

"Let it go, they are both traitors and they are very compatible" Abigail said.

"Well, how's your relationship with Justin. Are you two dating?" His father and mother looked at him seriously because they also wanted to know about this.

"No,:" Abi replied while blushing.

"Why not?" asked the father in a loud tone to make his wife and daughter look at him.

"I-I'm scared of Dad."

"What are you afraid of, honey?" ask mother.

"I'm afraid" Abi lowered his head, "I'm afraid Justin will be like Harold leaving me out of disgust" he said.

"Why are you saying that? Don't you see the sincerity and what he's been doing to you all this time?"

Abi was silent, looking at his father and mother. Justin has done a lot for her. Even from that night, Justin pointed out that if he was serious and not playing games but the fear of being betrayed again always haunted him.

"Abi, not all men are like Harold" said his father.

"Right sweetheart, look at Justin. He's so much different from Harold, he's so kind to you that he's always encouraging you to change. We can see that if he's really sincere with you, can't you see that from what he's doing?"

Abi looked at his mother, Justin was indeed so good that even he was not ashamed at all when he was with her from she was fat until now. The result he got was not only from his hard work but thanks to Justin's help and the encouragement he gave.

"I-I don't know," Abi lowered her head, her face flushed red considering what they almost did.

"If so find out, how you feel about her" said the mother.

"Is it okay, Mom?"

"What do you mean?" ask his mother wonder.

"Is it okay for me to be in a relationship again?"

"Of course it's okay, is something wrong? It's good if you want to be in a relationship again and show Harold that son of a bitch if you can get a much better man than him."

Abi smiled faintly, should he do that? To be honest, she did not want to see Harold again and she wished that she would never see him again.

"All right, I'm gonna take a shower. Justin was coming to pick me up soon, "Abi went to bring her bowl of salad.

Abi walks into the room, leaving his father who is being scolded by his mother because both hands swell due to hitting the table. Abi even laughed at his father while heading to the room but he was thinking about his mother's advice. Is it time to open your heart?

He knows Justin is serious about his feelings, he can see that from everything Justin does and shows for him. He knows the man is sincere and not playful but he is afraid of falling in love again because he does not want to be disappointed a second time.

He was also afraid of disappointing Justin and most importantly, would Justin's family be able to accept it? What if they're like Harold's family? Honestly, he was so scared that he did not want to be disappointed anymore.
