CHAPTER 14

Arriving at Changi Airport they were picked up by a driver and a car that had been rented by Mas Ryan for their needs while in Singapore.

Dita just remembered something, "Mas, later during your meeting I will meet with my college friends who now live here, is it okay?", asked Dita.

"Did I take you to the hotel first? Let's get some rest" Mas Ryan asked.

"No need Mas, later you will take me first. I met my friend right away. Is that okay, Mas?", Dita repeated the question.

"It's okay, I'm just worried you'll do something. By the way your friend is female or male?", asked Mas Ryan.

"I'll take care of myself Mas, I've traveled here several times alone, so I'm used to it. My female friend Mas, her name is Sherly", replied Dita

"The plan is to meet at Olio Cafe located in Orchard Road Mas. He had also sent a message that he had departed from his apartment", continued Dita.

"Yes, the important thing is that you be careful and tell me that everywhere. Later after the meeting I will pick up", said Mas Ryan attentively.

Dita nodded while smiling.

Soon they arrive at Orchard Road and Dita sees Sherly waiting for her.

"That's Mas, my friend Sherly, who was standing there wearing a pink shirt" Dita told Mas Ryan.

Then Dita said goodbye to Mas Ryan. Before Dita got out of the car Mas Ryan slipped a few pieces of Singapore dollar in the pocket of Dita's pants.

"Mas, no need. I have money, you calm down" said Dita refused.

"Dit, I forced this time. Please, take it" said Mas Ryan gently as he looked into Dita's eyes.

Dita nodded with a smile and then passed.

Mas Ryan turned to look at Sherly with a friendly smile then immediately left those who were hugging longs because they had not met for a long time.

"Geez Sher, I miss you so much" said Dita, shaking Sherly's hand.

"I'm also Dit, you haven't been here for a long time" Sherly replied as she hugged Dita into the cafe.

They ordered food and chatted while joking, letting go of longing for college.

"Eh Dit, the one who drove you was your boyfriend?", teased Sherly.

"Friend Sher, it just so happens that he has some business here" Dita replied.

"Ah I don't believe, you are the same Dimas who is legitimate rarely traveling together. Well this is you suddenly traveling with other people, what's the name if not a girlfriend?", Sherly was curious.

Dita laughed at Sherly's words that had a point. He and Dimas rarely go together because of their respective activities.

"His name is Mas Ryan, we're 17 years old. We are close again. Until now it is still close to Sher, not more" replied Dita.

"That means there's a possibility of becoming more dong?", teased Sherly while poking Dita's arm.

I can only be embarrassed.

"Not knowing Sher, I'm still confused actually. Right now I'm just trying to go through it and hoping to find an answer to my doubts" Dita said.

"Lho, why doubt Dit? Is it because Ryan is so much more mature than you? Many kok Dit couples are further adrift of age, which is important anyway complement each other Dit" said Sherly.

"Mas Ryan has a wife" Dita continued.

"Haahhh??? Seriously you are Dit?!", said Sherly in shock.

Dita also explained the condition of Mas Ryan's household, and Dita's doubts. Dita's really confused. His feelings have been with Mas Ryan. He asks Sherly for advice on whether she should stay away from Mas Ryan before going too far.

Sherly held Dita's hand as she said, "Dit, I understand how you feel right now. You are among the heavy choices. I can guess that you have fallen in love with Mas Ryan, so you are afraid of the bad reality that looms over you".

Dita nodded softly confirming Sherly's statement.

"Dit, a man should be able to give certainty. Certainty that if you are with him you will be fine. Ask your heart if you believe in Mas Ryan. If Mas Ryan can give that certainty, then keep it. But if Mas Ryan just wants to be close to you without certainty, then you can stay away from him", continued Sherly.

Dita looks pensive justifying Sherly's words. He begins to realize that he needs reassurance from Mas Ryan that their closeness will not be considered a destroyer of people's households. Dita has not dared to hope for more for now.

Seeing her friend who was upset, Sherly immediately invited Dita to a shopping center so that Dita was excited again. Sherly pulls Dita's hand to leave immediately.

They go for a walk and shop. I bought a bag and a wallet. Shopping makes all women happy. All problems will be forgotten when shopping. That's women.

When the clock shows at 14:00 Singapore time Dita's phone rings. Mas Ryan called her, confirmed her condition and told her that the meeting would be longer. Ryan's gonna pick up Dita at 17:00.

Dita does not mind because there is a loyal Sherly accompanied her.

At 17:00 am Ryan had arrived in front of the shopping center they visited, Dita and Sherly were saying goodbye to each other and promised to visit each other. She thanked Sherly for accompanying her.

Dita immediately got into the car and waved at Sherly.

"How was the meeting?", asked Dita.

"Currently, maybe around next month the project will start" Mas Ryan replied with a smile.

"What did you buy?", asked Mas Ryan as he glanced at the paper bag Dita was carrying.

"I bought a bag and a wallet, ' he replied.

"I changed the money. I transferred to you yes", said Mas Ryan.

"No need, I bought this of my own free will. Really.", said Dita refused.

"Dit, I brought you here. That way I'm in charge of you here, for your safety and comfort, anyway you should not refuse this time" explained Mas Ryan.

Dita can only nod. And Ryan smiled with satisfaction.

"Dit, we go somewhere first" said Mas Ryan.

"Where are you?", asked Dita.

"There is" Mas Ryan replied, winking his eyes.

"Mas, don't be weird, where are we going?" asked Dita again.

Ryan was more than happy to see the curious Dita.
