Zahra blinked her eyes as the disinfectant scent rippled into her sense of smell. He was conscious and he felt that now he was in a room dominated by white.
"Am I in the hospital?" murmured Zahra slowly while holding her head that felt pain. He tried to get up from his position, but the voice of someone prevented his intention.
"Don't, don't move much first. Lie down and rest first" said the man. The voice sounded unfamiliar, yet gentle enough to prevent. At once Zahra immediately realized something, that he was in the Hospital and another, he was awaited by a man she did not know.
Zahra held her head and realized that something was wrong here.
"Where's my hijab? You saw my hair! This is. This is disrespectful!" zahra said weakly when she realized her hair was being shed.
The man in front of Zahra immediately wavered, looking at his look of confusion when he had to explain what had happened to the woman in front of him.
"Sorry, look Miss. I'm so sorry, you hit your head and got injured. The cloth you were referring to, which should have covered it - it was opened so that the doctor could treat the wound. Ehmm. The cloth was also a lot of blood stains. You know.that-that looks terrible!" said the man with a strange-sounding Indonesian accent.
Zahra took a long breath. "You hit me?" tanyakanya.
The man with the foreign look shook his head. "No! You're the one standing on that side of the road!" said.
"I was standing on the side of the road and you hit me, didn't you?" zahra circus.
The man fell silent.
"Well, can you come out now? Because I'm not comfortable being seen by a foreign man in this state."
The man nodded and charged towards the exit.
"Ah yes, please call my family. I don't want them looking for me and worrying!" zahra said as the man was on the verge of the outpatient room door.
#####
Moments later, Ken had arrived at the Hospital where his wife was being treated. The bodyguards have found the existence of Zahra quickly because they immediately followed the car that brought Ken's wife.
Ken passed by a stranger who hit Zahra, the man was already outside the room but was still waiting for Zahra there. Ken gave him a quick glance because he did not know if the man was causing his wife harm. Ken passed by and entered Zahra's room, which he had learned from the hospital receptionist.
Ken came there alone, initially Rasta wanted to come but Ken prevented because he wanted to investigate first about this accident, whether this was an element of intent or not. He was afraid that Rasta's presence at the Hospital could reveal the identity of the brothers.
"Darling..." Ken stepped wide towards the hospital bed that his wife occupied.
"Ken?" Zahra smiled slightly. "I'm sorry, Ken." he said slowly.
Ken frowning. "I'm sorry? Sorry for what?" ask Ken.
"Sorry to worry you and it must be that the grand opening event is falling apart because of me."
"Darling, what the fuck? The show is no more important than you. The event can even I postpone but your safety is not. I should be the one apologizing, I should be able to take care of you!" Ken put his face on his wife's stomach, he couldn't see Zahra lying in the hospital like this.
"You're not wrong, Ken. This has already happened and this means it has been outlined that today I will have an accident."
"Is that really painful? That must have hurt a lot. I want to replace your position. Let me feel it!" Ken stroked Zahra's cheek gently from her position.
"No, I'm just a little dizzy."
"It has not been painful because of the anesthetic effect or the drug given to you. It's gonna start pulsing, honey..." Ken lifted his head and looked at the bandage in his head.
"Then, what did the doctor say?" ask Ken further.
"I haven't seen the Doctor, I just realized. Just ask him. Maybe he knows or the doctor is telling him about my condition!"
"Him? She who?"
"He brought me here."
"Ah the hitter! I'll see him!" Ken began to shuffle, because suddenly his emotions peaked considering the person who had bumped into the wife.
"Yes?" Ken looked at Zahra who was lying down.
"Don't blame her, I was wrong, too." Zahra lied, she didn't want her husband in trouble for getting into a fight with the stranger.
"I don't understand why you blame yourself! I will definitely make a calculation with him!" firmly Ken and just walked out of the ward just like that.
When Ken arrived outside the room, the face of a foreign man who had passed him was plastered there. It seems that the person was waiting for Zahra because he was in front of the waiting chair in front of the door of Zahra's ward.
"You hit my wife?" cecar Ken to the point.
The man nodded and got up from his position. "You're her husband?" tanyakanya.
"Yes, I'm her husband!" replied Ken loudly.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I was driving at high speed." The speech was interrupted because Ken immediately grabbed the collar of the blue-eyed man's shirt.
"You!" furious Ken.
"Wait, I'm not done talking!" said the man.
Ken took his hand off the collar of the bule man. "I'll sue you!" break up Ken just like that.
"No! I didn't hit him. He stood on the side of the road and he fainted. My car didn't even touch your wife's skin!" the man was determined not to lose.
"Don't make it up!"
"I'm not making up! my car stopped there right after he passed out. At first I wanted to buy cigarettes in the mini market. But as soon as he passed out, I immediately brought him here!"
"Then? How could my wife have a head injury?"
"I don't know! But it looks like his head hit the sidewalk from a sudden fainting!"
Ken's speechless.
"If you're in doubt, please just sue me and I'll prove my point on the cctv tape!" the man threatened Ken.
"And one more thing, I think she fainted because of her pregnancy!"
"Pregnant?" Ken's surprised.
"You didn't know your wife was pregnant? Yeah, I'll tell you now! That your wife is pregnant! She's pregnant! And the doctor says it's fine. He's just a mild concussion on the head from being hit!"
Again, Ken was silent. His fear of something happening to his wife made him emotionally wrapped and wanted to attack anyone who dared to disturb their calm.
"You should thank me! I could've ignored your wife on the street."
"Well, I'm sorry and thank you for your help!" ken said sincerely, he acknowledges his mistake now.
"Hmm, take good care of your wife! I helped her because she was so beautiful! It turns out she's a man's wife!" said the man then.
Ken gasped as he grieved the statement of the man who had passed before him. It felt like Ken was crashing into the back of the man who still seemed to have his eyes peeled.
"How dare he praise a woman in front of her husband!" muttered Ken, he felt angry and jealous but he could think clearly, no matter how the man had helped Zahra.
Butbut wait... Zahra's pregnant?
"Hana, are you pregnant, honey?" inner Ken cheered with pleasure. Soon Ken might return to the wife's room.
