New reality

For the first time after many years passed, Devia had to meet Bagas who came to the Hospital together with Irene.

"Thank you very much, Dev. You were much bothered by Frans' circumstances," said Bagas starting their awkward conversation.

"Yes" replied Devia briefly. He soon passed from the room with a flat face, letting Irene and Bagas see Frans' condition begin to improve after being treated for a long time from surgery to post-surgery.

Devia sat in the waiting chair, before long Irene came out of Frans' room and sat down next to her.

"Mr.." said Irene.

"Hm."

"I say a lot of thanks to Mbak Dev, for looking after Frans during our time abroad, I know I was wrong with Ma'am, I apologize to Mbak for my mistakes all this time" Irene said in a raucous voice holding back sobs.

Devia shakes. "No, Irene didn't even tell Frans who her real father was. Frans knows his real father's name but doesn't know his origin and who his father's family is."

Frans freezes when he learns a new reality that makes him surprised instead of playing. He didn't know why his mother told him about this. Maybe Irene was really embarrassed to see the warm attitude that Devia showed Frans, while she as a mother continued Ken, could not do that to the child.
