That morning Winarsih received his mother's phone call via a telephone plane in the employee's dining room.
Winarsih understood very well how Ms. Sumi who had rarely called him on the grounds of not bothering her son with news that was not important. Especially since he married Dean.
But that morning, Ms. Sumi called her in a stammer, telling her that Yanto, her sister who did have congenital heart disease due to an excess of chromosomes, had been diagnosed, fell unconscious at home after the teenager peeled off a large basket of cinnamon.
In the age of the womb which has stepped on 20 weeks, quickly made his feelings immediately agitated when he heard the news.
Winarsih knew that his mother must have borrowed the mobile phone of their neighbor who is considered to live the most decent life compared to his neighbor in the alley.
For a moment Winarsih walked back and forth wearing a yellow canal with a simple but very elegant model on his body.
It was almost noon when Winarsih contacted Dean to ask about his own mobile number.
Actually she did not want to disturb her husband, but it had been almost half an hour he fiddled with his phone but did not manage to find.
After Dean sent a series of numbers through a short message, Winarsih again contacted his neighbor to tell him his mobile number.
He asked his neighbors for help, so that they immediately contacted him if there was any progress or other news about Yanto.
Winarsih went to the kitchen to help Tina cook. Winarsih's goal is actually just to divert his mind from Yanto who is in the district hospital.
"Win, don't be here. You're in the room. Later if Mr. Dean knows, we are scolded," said Tina as she sat in a small chair and began picking chili.
"No, it's okay, ma'am. I want to cook something again" replied Winarsih.
Cooking something she actually doesn't know what it is either.
His mind was still fixed on the mother who was alone facing Yanto. What if something bad happens to her sister.
"Win-win-" call Mbah.
"Eh? Yes Mbah?" Winarsih.
"Dreamy you. Why?" ask Mbah.
"So my mother called Mbah. My sister collapsed and went to the hospital. He does have congenital heart disease. Have fainted several times but then fine," said Winarsih.
"If you press, you tell Mr. Dean. He must have a solution" Mbah said again.
"But my mother said, it's okay. He's gonna tell me more about my sister. I have also left my phone number to my neighbor" replied Winarsih.
Though, he wasn't the one who was worried about telling Dean that. He was only worried that if he came home to see the state of Yanto his mother would get angry.
Because just before hanging up the phone earlier, his mother sounded a little stressed out in words,
"You just calm down, don't panic. I'm just giving you news. Don't think things through. I'm telling you, let you pray for your sister. I'll call back in case there's any news. Take good care of your husband's health and take good care of him."
Even Winarsih did not have time to say words of comfort to her mother.
And in the next few days, Winarsih continues to wait for news about Yanto.
Sometimes she calls her neighbors to ask for news, but her neighbor says that Ms. Sumi is still in the hospital accompanying Yanto.
Although curious and wondering, why Yanto has not been able to go home, but a second feeling that Yanto is still breathing and fine makes his feelings a little better.
Although he never ordered anything to Winarsih, but it made Winarsih feel sad.
Miss Amalia never thought it existed.
Winarsih tried to do all her duties in the house as usual. He always cooks his breakfast or Dean's dinner menu with his own hands.
Dean often skipped dinner to avoid eating with his parents. The man did not want his wife to eat alone.
Because of this, Winarsih several times had to force Dean to sit at the dinner table with his parents. He assures Dean that the man can return with him to dinner after dinner with the family.
Two more days of wedding reception for Dean and Disty will be held. Ms. Amalia was already very busy with the unceasing ringing of her phone.
Winarsih's mind was split with two things that made her heart sad. Yanto is still in the hospital, and Dean is about to leave him overnight to stand next to another woman.
Various positive thoughts he emphasized to himself to dispel all those worries.
Winarsih was serving a plate of omelet and pickled cucumbers that her husband asked as a complement to dinner.
The dining table was still empty, only Dean folded his hands neatly while smelling the aroma of the dishes that Winarsih served one by one to the table.
That night, Winarsih asked Dean to eat with his parents because Mr. Hartono had just returned from out of town.
When Winarsih had just placed a plate of omelet in front of Dean, the man grabbed his wife's hand and kissed the palm.
Winarsih was just as usual, smiling and trying to quickly end Dean's affection for fear that Amalia would come down to the dinner table at any time.
And the thing he was worried about happened, too,
"It's still here you? I told you from the first time you went to work. I don't like maids still hanging around the dining table when my family is together" Ms Amalia said, pulling out her seat.
"Ma, it's morning. Mama just got out of the hospital-"
"You don't talk to me De, you talk to your mama's clerk" Ms. Amalia cut again without looking at her son.
"Mama can't-"
Dean still wanted to continue speaking but Winarsih held gently on her husband's shoulder.
"I'm sorry Mom. I said back first," said Winarsih took her tray and turned to the kitchen.
"Sometimes for the sake of human money willingly do just that. Being insulted is also still mediocre," said Bu Amalia who could not be heard by Winarsih.
"Two more days De, inget. My mom asked for nothing more from you. If you want your mama to be healthy, horrify your mama."
The words of Ms. Amalia delivered Winarsih's legs to continue towards the main kitchen and walk towards her room.
It was still morning, but his heart was more tired than his own body. Winarsih laid her body on the bed. The child in his stomach kept moving from earlier.
And his gaze turned to a hanger containing a set of Dean's white coats for him to wear the day after tomorrow.
