LOVE WINARSIH

LOVE WINARSIH
148. The King and Queen of a Day

A large stage was located at the end of a field. Half the field is now covered by a white cloth that protrudes from the high tent to touch the ground.

Jambi is attached with various customs that color it. Mixing between Minang, South Sumatra and Malay. Even Jambi has 7 regional languages that are often used there.

Winarsih is a native Javanese woman who was born and raised in one of Jambi regencies.

As his request from the beginning, he wanted to follow the customs of the area where he lived. As the saying goes, where the earth is cast, there the sky is held. Winarsih wants to use the custom of Jambi Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency as the theme of his recipe.

Winarsih that morning sat majestically like a princess of the king wearing custom clothes brackets of responsibility with songket and scarf embroidered with gold thread. The songket motif is the branching flower of the clan.

Jasmine ornaments, shoots and tagapo flowers beautify the Winarsih head covering named pesangkon. Dean wore a head covering or track made of red velvet.

That morning, Dean got dressed and dressed. While being made up in their 'wedding room', Winarsih had a glance at Dean who refused when the makeup artist would apply lip dye to her.

Dean then took out a pouch where the man kept his dressing gear. The makeup artist who was a middle-aged mother couldn't help but smile when she saw Dean deftly smearing a natural-colored lipgloss onto her lips.

From the corner of his eyes Winarsih also saw Dean who offered to tie and wear the customary clothes to his own body.

That's husband. With good looks that he always treated with plenary.

Compangan sounds echoed, the sounds indicate that the wedding reception that day uses the custom of West Tanjung Jabung Regency.

The bridal troupe walked slowly in line, describing the bride's reciprocal visit to the groom's family. In the tradition of Kuala Tungkal, the two brides are treated like kings and empresses a day. Winarsih and Dean were paraded on a yellow sassy boat carriage.

In front of them, a pair of betel nutted together. This line signifies hope for peace and equality in the family.

There is also a yellow umbrella as a symbol of the desire for the presence of greatness, shade, and protection while living the household.

A number of bodyguards walked firmly protecting Winarsih and Dean who looked charming in golden ornaments. The bodyguards symbolize the hope to always be guarded in the face of temptation and danger.

Symbols of prosperity and well-being are also painted through members of the group carrying banners.

Mr. Hartono has been standing gallantly on stage waiting for the arrival of his son and daughter-in-law accompanied by Amalia ma'am. In the chair opposite the pelaminan stood Sumi and Yanto bu who also wore traditional clothes. Not far from the big peraminan lined the seat where relatives sit.

Gank Duda Akut; Toni, Rio and his wife Jennifer, Sky and Orange stand waiting for Dean and Winarsih who are walking slowly towards the guarantee.

Mbak Anggi and mas Vino and their two daughters sit not far from their parents.

As Dean passed by them, Toni whispered, "Ciee.entar malem, first malem yes De." Rio and Sky lowered their heads chuckling worriedly in case Mr. Hartono heard Toni's words just now.

Shortly thereafter a dance performance was performed on stage. Dean repeatedly glanced at Winarsih to see his wife's reaction. Dean was happy and amused. Winarsih that day was a bride, but she several times had to take Dita who was barely 7 months because of her fuss. While Dirja walked limping holding the knees of his father and mother who were together.

The atmosphere of the wedding reception that will last for 6 hours looks festive and boisterous. Winarsih said he would not be able to sit longer than that because his waist was very sore and could not bear to see Dita who was fussy because she wanted to be carried by her mother.

At lunchtime, Dean, who had just given an empty plate to the event team after feeding his wife, saw two familiar figures on stage.

"Win, your ex-boyfriend." Dean nudged his wife's busy shoulder to pat Dita's thigh trying to sleep in her babysitter's sling.

Winarsih turned her head to see what her husband meant. Utomo and the Goddess then walked up to them. Dean stood up to greet their guests.

"Congratulations once again Mr. Dean," said Dewi smilingly shaking the hand of one of the owners of the company where he worked.

"Congratulations Sir," Utomo said quietly. Dean could barely hear his wife's ex-boyfriend.

"Yes? Whahuh? I'm not horrified" said Dean.

"Congratulations to Mr. Dean and his family" Utomo repeated.

"Oh yes.... Thanks though. Win, stand up, honey. This is an old friend of yours," Dean said, holding Dirja at his feet.

Winarsih then stood quietly holding her stomach and welcomed the hand of Dewi and Utomo to her.

"Makasi ya Ut already come, makasi Mbak.." said Winarsih to Dewi while smiling.

Utomo smiled looking at his ex-girlfriend for 6 years who is getting more beautiful when she has become someone else's wife.

If it wasn't for the Goddess forcing him to come to the reception, perhaps Utomo would have been no longer there. Dewi received an invitation directly from the board of directors so it is impossible not to attend.

The woman seems to know a little about Utomo and Mr. Hartono's son-in-law. But as with Utomo, Dewi was also seen avoiding the topic.

At two o'clock in the afternoon, Winarsih and Dean had stepped off the stage to return to the resting house. The invited guests from the city went to the residence of the Hartono family which was next to Sumi's house.

Later in the evening they will go to a folk party with dozens of street vendors' carts served free and night market entertainment.

Rides banyu waves, reanglala, comedy swivel, haunted house, various agility arena and do not forget the arena of the demon barrel has stood upright since yesterday.

There should have been one more entertainment addition suggested by one of the village leaders to enliven the Saturday night event, but Sumi refused.

The entertainment is a screen. Sumi told Dean that Winarsih did not like the entertainment because he felt that his money was too much to buy peanuts containing the lottery rather than the time he could spend watching the pieces of the film being aired.

Dean had not understood what his mother-in-law meant while in Jambi some time ago. But after Sumi's mom explained, Dean finally understood. With a wry smile Dean nodded in understanding.

The To Be Continued.....

The connection of the tancap screen and beans is :

In some areas, tancap screen entertainment is always interspersed with the sale of mini-packed beans and filled with lottery prizes of kitchen equipment and cheap items such as dipper, bucket, soap and others.

If the organizer does not reach the target buyer, usually they will continue to sell the lottery nuts. As a result, the time to show the film is very short and almost never finished.
