Love is Noiseless
Chapter 5's

Bruuk!

Dinan was pushed to the floor, his body collapsing as Layla pushed the door of her room hard. “Ahh! Damnit!” Dinan shouted loudly full of emotion.

“Ma—maaf, Sir!” Layla was immediately shocked to see Dinan being knocked to the floor, as soon as she helped Dinan to stand up.

“Richard!” Dinan shouted loudly to call out to Richard.

“I—iya, Sir.” Richard quickly pulled Layla's hand away from Dinan.

“Ma-sorry, Sir! I don't mean to push mr.” Layla broke out in cold sweat, her body shivering in fear. He just made a big mistake.

“Why can he get in here? Lo the right job no hell!” Dinan stood up he stared intently at Layla who was standing with a scared look down in front of him.

“Sorry, Sir. It's my negligence.” Richard pulled Layla's hand out of the room immediately.

But Layla insisted on staying there, she returned Dinan's gaze with all the remaining courage she had. “Sa—I want to say important things with father,” his request by pleading.

Dinan did not push him, he went back to his chair. “Pak! I beg you, I need to talk to mr.” Layla still asks expectantly.

Richard tried to pull Layla's hand hard. “Quick out! it's Lo's last day at work, I'll fire Lo right now!” Richard growled withholding emotions seeing Layla's attitude.

“Pak! I beg you,” Layla watered expectantly, her eyes glazed, even the clear water was already there that soaked her cheeks.

Dinan was still not reprimanding, he had taken a document on his desk. While Richard opened the closed door while pulling Layla's hand violently.

“Pakk!” Layla shouted, she was annoyed with Dinan who did not care about her call. “I beg Sir!” layla yelled again in a weakened tone and her wet cheeks, if she failed that day, then she would have no chance to meet Dinan again and her orphanage would really be displaced by the company.

Dinan was still silent no matter, he was already focused on his work. While Richard was outside Dinan pushed Layla roughly. “Go Lo there, clear Lo workbench. PHK Lo's letter soon I send.” Richard exclaimed in annoyance, Layla only added to her already piled up work.

“Pak, let me meet Mr. Dinan, this is important for me.” Layla was heartbroken with hope, now her heart was completely broken imagining the home she loved would be evicted and turned into a luxury apartment.

“Now Lo go! Or need me to get rid of the security guard!” Maki Richard was rude. Layla relented, she stood up and then walked away from Dinan's room. His hand rubbed his wet cheek, his mind drifting, to the orphanage that held many memories for him. He should have realized, seeing Dinan was not a trivial thing in the company.

Layla walks towards the elevator, she descends to the 3rd floor to get ready to go home immediately. He has an appointment to meet Bayu. Maybe he should also get ready to clean up his stuff. Is his fight to save the parlor gone? Uhh! Really sorry Layla with herself. Can't save his replacement.

As Layla exited the elevator to her desk, she saw Mr. Marc talking to Mr. Denis near the marketing manager's staff room. Layla approached and saluted, as she had to pass the two men to her desk. Layla then walked towards her desk.

“Wait!” Mr. Marc's voice exclaimed to Layla, stopping his conversation with Mr. Denis for a moment. Layla stopped and quickly turned around to see Mr. Marc. “You were in front of the room Dinan’kan? Why are your eyes so wet?”

“I—ini.” Layla was speechless, confused as to what to explain, only her hands moved to dry her cheeks. A moment later he remembered the document that was given by the building manager staff he still held. Lekas Layla gave the document to Mr. Marc, hoping that the man would help him.

“Tu-Tuan, I-I want to beg you for something Sir,” Layla said with a lowered head.

“Layla!” Mr. Denis warned Layla about his behavior. “What do you do?”

“Tak nothing Denis.” Mr. Marc defends Layla, he takes the document and opens it. “What's the problem with this document?”

“So you want your home not evicted?” Mr. Marc tries to guess Layla's wish.

“I-iya Sir, sorry if I was presumptuous,” said Layla weakly, he will be fired from there, make it even more concerned with the views of Mr. Denis.

Mr. Marc took a heavy breath, he watched Layla from top to bottom and then back to top. He then nodded, perhaps a parlour boy like Layla could be trusted, would not betray what kind of man he had experienced and Dinan felt.

“I hold first, later I will call you. Now back to work, soon hours home.” Mr. Marc's orders.

“Ba—baik Tuan.” Layla obediently, she returned to her desk and prepared to go home.

Layla sat staring at Bayu who was in focus looking at the screen of her phone. It had been almost half an hour they were sitting there, but Bayu did not make any sound at all. Layla is confused by what the man wants.

“Mas! Actually, what do you want me to meet now?” Layla opened her voice first.

Bayu glanced at Layla, she then lowered her phone and folded her hands in front of her chest. “You don't realize your mistake? There is no intention to apologize, admit mistakes.”

Layla rubbed her forehead, earlier in the office she had made a big mistake, what now she had to face Bayu again with all their problems that kept repeating like that?

“I'm tired, Mas. Back in the office there was a little problem, now you are even angry like this same me.” Layla complains about her situation.

“Ohh! That's the reason, so your job is much more important than apologizing to me?” Bayu's eyes narrowed sharply looking at Layla's face which held a heavy load.

Layla's fate is like being on the edge, she will be fired in her office for her actions earlier, and now Bayu instead presses her for the no-no, the man who was supposed to give her spirit instead further added to her headache from bearing all the burdens.

“Ok, Mom! I was wrong, I'm sorry.” Layla chose to give up rather than have to prolong their problems.

“Ohh! That's it, there's no sincere apology, La.” Bayu still folded his hands with a cynical look at Layla.

“Maass! Please dong... I'm really not in the mood right now. Don't fight again.” Layla gives hope to Bayu.

“I'm tired of you too, now what? Want to continue? Did we get here?” Bayu spoke without any burden to Layla.

“Why is it easy to talk like that, Mas? I think there is no meaning to our relationship this 2 years for you.”

“Because you never understood my circumstances, La. I was bu—“

“Neitherhow, Mas?” Layla cuts Bayu's sentence. “I've always known you, when you were in PHK a few months ago, I stayed close to you and gave support to you, Mas. Now that I have a problem in the office, why don't you support me, Mom? You're like this the same as me, adding to my burden by saying like that.” Layla expressed her complaints.

"I think it's also because of your attitude, La. We break first, I'm tired of you not changing."

"Change what, Mom? What do you think with us dating, we're free to do?"
