Love is Noiseless

Love is Noiseless
Chapter 30's

A week has passed from that day. Everything is going as usual. No meaningful problems arose between Dinan and Layla. Dinan never again addressed the issue of documents in the hands of Mr. Marc. Layla is also back in focus. Mr. Denis and Emma are no longer asking about the documents. Most importantly for Layla her sisters can still live comfortably in an orphanage.

On the other side of Layla's life, her relationship with Bayu is also going well. Although he did not meet with Bayu after that day, he still maintained communication and asked each other news. When Bayu invited to meet, Layla refused on the grounds of work piling up. The girl was also made to worry by the circumstances. On the one hand depends the great expectations of Mr. Marc and Ms. Eva to him. On the other hand, he still loves Bayu very much.

“Layla, to my room for a moment,” said Mr. Denis calling Layla. The woman immediately stood up and walked towards the door of Mr. Denis' room. Just now that he had entered, Mr. Denis was already standing waiting for him.

“Pak Dinan called you, La. Looks like your document problem is still not finished.”

Layla gulped, she immediately said goodbye to Mr. Denis and immediately headed for the seventh floor. The girl asked Richard for permission before entering Dinan's room. As Layla opened the door without knocking, she saw a woman talking to Dinan there.

***

Dinan had just told Richard to call Layla into his room. There are things that Dinan must tell Layla as soon as possible.  However, as Dinan awaits Layla's arrival. Another woman walked into the room relaxed.

His steps were clearly heard in Dinan's quiet workroom. Dinan already knew the person who entered was not Layla, because his wife had never used high heels at all.

“What my arrival surprised you?” asked the woman in a seductive tone, Dinan raised his head, looking at who was coming.

Jenny, the girl came in pretty revealing clothes. Skirt over the knee with sleeveless dress. Also her makeup is striking with red blushing lips. Do not forget the mascara that makes his eyebrows so attractive. The girl can always decorate herself in order to be the center of attention.

“Do you feel this is your office? so that you can casually enter my room like this,” asked Dinan who was upset by the arrival of the girl.

“Auh, Dinan .. are you still angry with the events of the past? I've even thrown the man away because he's useless at all.”

“I don't want to talk about the past, it's better to go straight to the core of your arrival here,” said Dinan straightforwardly.

“You're in too much of a hurry.” Jenny stepped towards the sofa that was in Dinan's room. He pulled out his phone and sat there.

“I don't have time to mess around, Jen, so go if you have no business.”

“Duh, my future husband is really busy. I just came to take care of our business. Did you forget my offer a while ago.”

Dinan exhaled a rough breath. Jenny smiled faintly, she was busy looking at the screen of her phone. Dinan gritted his teeth. He stood up from his chair and walked over to Jenny.

“You came too, right. Do we need to order drinks first?” jenny asked in a still teasing tone to Dinan.

“I don't have time, if there is nothing to discuss, then come out immediately,” said Dinan with a slightly pressing tone.

“You changed, Nan. Not as soft as I used to be.”

Dinan held back in annoyance. Jenny's attitude was playing tricks on her. It was as if Jenny knew that Dinan actually also wanted to hear from the Barata family.

“I have a good offer for you, Nan.”

“We are married,” take Jenny with a face that immediately turns serious.

Layla who had been in since Dinan moved to the sofa immediately rounded her eyes. Didn't think there was a woman who was as straightforward as it invited married a man who had accompanied his sleep for a week more. Layla still silently watched Jenny and Dinan from behind the display of her husband's room.

“There is a much crazier idea than that?”

“It's an advantage, Nan. You already know that the land you won at the auction belongs to my family, right? I can give you that land and save your good name. On the other hand, our marriage can strengthen our family relationship for bigger business.”

“Your father was rejected, now go.” Dinan stood up from his seat.

Jenny quickly held Dinan's hand to hold the man. Layla's heart immediately rippled to see the first time a woman had held her husband's hand.

“We both do not care about the meaning of a marriage, no one is harmed here. You need a wife for status and get your ration from Mr. Marc, also keep your good name because of the land problem. I also need a husband for status, I need a future husband from a distinguished family like you. We also both need children as heirs, if we have children, he will be a great person in the future because he was born from two large families in this country.”

Dinan smiled cynically. “You need me, but I don't need you. If you do not marry a noble man, you will only be considered trash by your family, and your children will be removed from the Barata family name. So stop as if I really need you in this situation.”

Dinan brushed off Jenny's hand and walked towards her desk.

“Dinan!” yelled Jenny, “your fate is in my family's hands. You think you can get that land just like that? If I can't get you, then we'll both be trash. I'm out of the Barata family, you're out of Marc property. I'm not messing around, Dinan.”

Dinan paused for a moment, “I'm not as stupid as you think, now go before I drag you out.”

Jenny stood up, she snorted in annoyance. Before finally deciding to leave the room Dinan work. Now he may fail, but for the next he will succeed in getting the man. Jenny stopped by the door to see Layla standing there. He could only glare angrily at Layla then leave because he did not want to fuss in front of Dinan.

After Jenny's departure, Layla was still standing there. He watched Dinan who seemed to hit the table many times to vent his anger.

“FUCK YOU JENNY!” dinan cried out with all the grudges she had stored in her chest. The heartache in the past was still felt, the wound was still clearly agape in his heart.

A few moments later Dinan's phone rang. The man took out an oath of expulsion because of the anger that had not been vented.

“What's up?” dinan asked half-screaming at the call.

“Where is he?” dinan asked with a hunting breath.

“Ah, basic useless people,” snaps Dinan with annoyance. The man closed the call.

“Layla! Here!” call Dinan out loud.

Layla gasps in shock because she doesn't think Dinan knows she's in the room.
