Chapter 72: Watering the School Garden

Because of someone I had to go to school on holidays to replace the holiday guards.

Although this work is trivial still quite troublesome especially I did not come alone but with Natalie.

Yup, we were both in school in a quiet state except for the sound of insects that were always there when summer abroad.

Natalie who was wearing shorts as well as striped clothes said towards me.

"Can I help you water it now?"

"If I told you not to, you'd be watering it too."

"To be precise, I'm a rebel" Natalie replied with a proud smile until I simply replied with a long sigh.

I took the hose I was touching with the garden water pipe and gave it to Natalie who was looking at me with sparkling eyes.

"The mission has been received, I will give this living water to the entire ecosystem in this park."

"Be careful not to water yourself."

"I'm not a kid."

There are parts that can not be watered instantly because of that I took a flower sprinkler and then watering the flowers that are placed on the edges of the corridor.

They grew up well here.

When we go back to this school, things will obviously be different.

After I finished checking Natalie as I thought she was sitting down while trying to dry her clothes in the sun.

"I doused myself just now, because the water was suddenly gone I checked it out I was sprayed hehe."

"I guess before you dry, we're not going anywhere."

We both decided to go to our classroom, the sun could still go through the window so I asked Natalie to sit there with the chair I gave her while I sat in front of her in the shade area.

"I want to go to school again soon, I miss the atmosphere here."

"Eh, really? When I went to school in Paris I only received one class until graduation and there were only 15 classes."

It must be a school for the rich.

I added.

"In the third grade we were both sitting next to each other and I think Ms. Sania will still be our homeroom teacher."

"Happy, then I'd like to sit down with Arta... Could you?"

"I don't mind it, but it's all up to our homeroom teacher."

"Then I'll bribe him with all the sweet treats later"

I doubt he will be tempted anyway since long ago there was no seat filled opposite sex, if there is any.

After Natalie's clothes dried, we both went home. During the holidays Natalie stayed with me so we could go home together.

As I was about to fetch some drinking water in the fridge my face paled, there was a notice of 'Your mother and sister went on vacation with all the shop workers, we'll be back three days later. Please take care of the house with Natalie."

Suddenly my body goosebumps as I turn my gaze towards the door looking Natalie looking at me with a shiny look.

"Are aunts gone? Not that we're just alone, maybe something's gonna happen tonight I'm gonna have to prepare dinner and some cute clothes."

As a precaution I finally called Natalie's mother and she immediately dragged her daughter away.

"Take me off, I still want to stay here when the holidays are still three days away."

"Then we'll excuse you."

"Thank you."

Natalie puffed her cheeks to coincide as I closed the door. Although it feels lonely this is definitely better.
